Lamp of love Episode-2: Bondita returns to Tulsipur

The episode starts with Bondita and others leaving London. Bondita waves hands to her friends and they board a ship to return to India.

Everyone looks so happy and they talk with each other. Anirudh stands in the deck and looks at the water, Bondita notices this and decides to join him, when she was about to go Tapur stands in her way and ask where she is going. Bondita says Sakha babu is standing alone so I thought I’ll go and talk with him it’s been so many years we talked. Tapur asks if she won’t talk with them as they also missed her all these years. Everyone says yes you should talk with us too. Why you are always concerned only about your Sakha babu? Bondita says fine okay let’s talk and sit with them and keeps her mouth blown. Everyone laughs looking at her she says, you all said we will talk now why everyone is laughing looking at her and asks if she looks like joker to them.

Thakumaa says okay enough don’t make her angry let her go. Sumati maa says Bondita now you can go and talk to your Sakha babu. Bondita gets smile in her face and gets up now Ksj calls her Bondita, with disappoint in her face she asks now what happened? Ksj says nothing Beta take this coffee along with you and give it to your Sakha babu. She gets from him and walks towards him.

She calls Sakha babu Anirudh turns towards her with his eyes little wet. She gives him coffee and asks if he is fine. He says yes Bondita I am very happy and these are tears of happiness. Bondita then asks Anirudh how he cleared all misunderstanding between two families. Anirudh says sometimes we don’t sit and talk about the problems instead we argue and make it big but I understand we should speak about so I visited Thakumaa after leaving you in London.

Anirudh and KSJ reach Thakumaa haveli. Thakumaa see both of them coming, and gets angry. She decides to shoot Anirudh. Sumati maa asks Thakumaa to listen to Anirudh once and don’t be so harsh. Thakumaa accepts and makes them to sit. Anirudh asks why she is against Educating Bondita? Thakumaa says woman should marry and devote her to husband and household things. Anirudh asks then why she didn’t marry. She says because what your kaka had done I am not able to get into that phase again.
Anirudh says okay but you can devote yourself to household chores and God. why you took up medicine? and being a successful vaidh. Thakumaa gets shocked by Anirudh’s question. He says you know that woman are not meant for this. I have seen your determination and strength and how as single woman you are managing everything. Anirudh says I thought everyone should be like you Thakumaa, irrespective of their marriage life. He further says to Thakumaa that as you know about medicine you are not dependent on anyone for your living I want every women to be like this. And I want Bondita to set herself free and make her life to fullest and be an example of every other woman in our society. Anirudh says if you think I am wrong you can punish me and if not please bless me. Thakumaa takes her gun and throws it down and keeps her hand in his head and says Jeetheraho. Anirudh gets emotional.

Thakumaa says you made me realize my mistake which I was doing these days I had never thought like you, and my enmity has made me like this and cries. Trilochan goes to Thakumaa and apologies. He says Kalindi I have made you like this if you can please forgive me. Thakumaa says Trilochan Ji you too forgive me for not thinking from your place. They both mend their ways. Anirudh and others get happy as both Thakumaa and KSj has forgotten their past.

Bondita says Sakha babu you have done this by risking your life and gets emotional as well as happy and thinks how things had changed. Bondita starts to clap and jump like she used to do in childhood (RTM plays).Anirudh looks at her happily and thinks Bondita has not changed same as Badmash Bondita.

Ksj and Thakumaa discuss whether Anirudh and Bondita agree to marry each other. Sumati maa says I think Anirudh babu will not accept this as he thinks it’s too early for Bondita to get married. Thakumaa says yes what Sumati bahu said is right we have to give both time to decide and we don’t know whether they both are in this thought, look at them they are still behaving like a kids. Ksj tells that he want Bondita again to be Roy Choudhary ka Bahu and he wants to hear how she calls Anirudh Pati babu all day. He nods that what you both said is right we will leave this up to them.

Anirudh and Bondita have their dinner. Anirudh feeds Bondita her favorite Rashogulla they feel happy on how they both finally united after so many years. Every one sits together and chit chat suddenly Bondita in tensed face asks Sakha babu where I will stay here after. Tulsipur or Krishnanagar. Anirudh asks why such question. Bondita says before we used to be in separate village now Thakumaa also in Tulsipur so I am confused.

Sampoorna says it’s your wish she can stay wherever she wants. As both the haveli have place for Bondita. Tupur says she can stay in Krishnanagar too. Chandrachur also tells the same. KSj says first we will all reach Tulsipur lets first celebrate Bondita’s return. Som says I’ll make all arrangements then.

Bondita looks at Anirudh and thinks please tell me to come to Tulsipur Sakha babu. Anirudh thinks, stay with me in Tulsipur Bondita. They both look at each other with little smile and sparkle in their eyes (RTM plays).

Everyone reach Deenpur railway station. Their, village people have gathered to welcome Bondita. Bondita gets surprised seeing them. They play Dhols, take aarti and welcome her. Bondita gets emotional. Then everyone board their Jeep and decides to reach Tulsipur first. Showmik, Rhimjim, Bihari and his wife wait for Bondita in RC haveli.
