Maithili gets ready for her wedding remembering Raghav’s love for her earlier and then betrayal. Raghav also remembers her promises to spend life with her and then filing dowry complaint against him and his family. Chanchal thinks Raghav is taking a right decision to marry Maithili and feels Lakshmi is coming to their house. He asks Raghav to smile and fixes a turban around his head. Sadhna gets Maithili returns and roughly pierces hair clip in her hair. Maithili writhes in pain. Aarti sends her away and asks Maithili not to marry Raghav. Sadhna stops near door hearing their conversation. Maithili looks at her. Arun calls her. Sadhna says Arun called even her and she didn’t pick it fearing his questions. Maithili thinks even she will not pick papa’s call or else she cannot lie him. Servant informs that groom’s family arrived. At hospital, Arun excitedly describes Maithili’s childhood story to nurses and says he feels proud of his daughter. Aarti tells Maithili that she is her hero and shouldn’t compromise on her ideals. Maithili says she can sacrifice her life for her family and cannot see papa in trouble, so she has to marry Raghav; she will not compromise on her self-respect though.
Sadhna performs Raghav’s aarti. Raghav imagines Maithili happily running and hugging him and saying I love you. Sadhna gets him out of imagination. Jwala comments that she wanted her son’s lavish wedding, but its happening in a simple way as per Maithili’s wish. Sadhna says they will have a lavish reception after wedding. Jwala says let us see and walks away. Sadhna asks Bhavana and Aarti to bring Maithili. Maithili walks with them senselessly. She imagines Arun holding her hand and walking her happily towards mandap. Baba Main Teri Malika, Tukda Hoon Main Tere Dil Ka.. song plays in the background. She gets out of her imagination and doesn’t find Arun around. She then sees a broken lamp and walks on the broken glass pieces injuring her feet. Arun senses something is wrong and calls Maithili. Aarti asks Maithili to stop or else she will hurt herself and it will pain. Maithili thinks this pain is nothing in front of the pain she is feeling in her heart.
Pandit starts mantras. Rani’s husband taunts that Arun Tiwari’s family is so poor that they offered him only 5000 rs shagun. She asks him to keep his mouth shut. He taunts that fears Jwala will get a heart attack seeing her plan failed. Jwala fumes in anger. Pandit asks to call the bride. Maithili walks in. Jwala grins with some evil plan. Maithili sits next to Radha in mandap. Raghav makes a distance. Pandit restarts mantras. Jwala asks him to complete the wedding. Pandit asks to call bride’s father for kanyadan. Maithili remembers Arun telling he cannot perform his beautiful daughter’s kanyadan and hence will run way. Arun gets tensed when Maithili doesn’t pick call.
Precap: Raghav is about to fix mangalsutra in Maithili’s neck when Arun stops him and asks him to either select his daughter or a greedy person. Raghav breaks gathbandhan and walks out of mandap.
