It’s Holi!!! Festival of colours. On this occasion of Holi, I wish, all the evils surrounding you end up and good, happiness and love take charge over it. Welcome the spring with colours and hope all your lives will be colourful. Take a step forward and mend your broken relations. Recap: RagSan Marriage
RagSan marriage was completed with all rituals. Ragini was not sure how she would stay alone in Pune without her family especially Laksh. LakSan understood what she is thinking about. Sanky went to Lucky and said “I think she needs you, maybe she would be happy after talking with you”
Lucky replied, “When you can understand her so much then why can’t you understand her feelings, rather than making a joke out of this marriage?” saying that he went to Ragini. Sanskar was choked.
Ragini hugged him hard when lucky neared her. All of them had tears looking at their bond. Lucky patted her head and whispered looking at his mom, “See Maa, my doll had grown up so quickly that she got married”, with tears in his eyes.
Sujatha handles the situation saying that, “Now i don’t want any crying in this marriage. All happy happy moments.”
Sanskar tried to talk with Lucky, but he ignored him. After sometime all the elders went to Ragini’s room, to make her get ready.
Ragini exclaimed, “Is there any puja to be done now”, while getting ready.
Sujatha just replied, “Think it to be like that…” and blinked at Sumi.
Ragini who observed that questioned back “Why you guys are laughing and blinking eyes?”
Sujatha said,” Sumi just explain her everything, i will go and look if Sanskar is ready or not” and she left the place.
Ragini in a confusion, “Now why mom was saying to explain me, now which rasam is left? From morning we were continuously doing all the rasams and an hour back u said that everything is done and no more are left”.
Sumi in a low voice while getting her ready patted her head and said, “You are looking beautiful”.
Ragini turned to Sumi and said, “I will be always looking beautiful to you as i am your kid, but just tell me, why you are making me ready now?”
Sumi explained her calmly, “U r going to start a new life from now on. Marriage will be completed only when two persons bind in the relation understands and stand by each other. As a mother i will say you that now on Sanskar is everything to you. A mother, A father, A brother, A friend, A lover… whatever relation exists in this world that u can find in that one person who holds your hand for life long. He is your soul mate. Wherever you go, he lies in you. I am happy that person who came in your life is Sanskar”
Ragini was listening to her maa silently but surrounded with many thoughts, “This marriage is just an agreement, i love him but he doesn’t”
Sumi continued, “Ragu always remember that Sanskar is your first preference, i am not forcing you but i am sharing my experience with you. When a girl is not married she has a responsibility of only her family but after her marriage she has many challenges in her life daily, which she should balance between two families. When it comes about husband, she would never look back doing anything for him that is the power of marriage”
Ragu holds her maa’s hand to make her feel that she understood what she wanted to say.
Sumi said, “Ragu, we all are happy as you have choose Sanskar . We all know about him, whatever happens he would not leave your hand”.
Tears rolled down from Ragini’s eyes and hugged her tightly. Sumi was surprised, “Ragu is everything fine? Why are you crying?? Did something happened between both of you?”
Ragini shrugged and said,” Nothing like that maa, these are happy tears, as you accepted our love”
Sumi said, “Why not after all Sanskar is gem of heart”
Ragini exclaimed, “Yes he is Gem”, and murmured in herself, “By fooling everyone of us” and said again “By the way, you didn’t say me why i am getting ready now”
Sumi exclaimed, “It’s your First Night today!!!!” and she left the room.
Ragini was puzzled after hearing First Night….”Oh god just save me!! Anyhow i know Sanskar, he is not going to touch me.”
On the other side Sanskar was also puzzled after knowing about First Night. He made up his mind that he would silently go to bed and sleep.
At the dinner, RagSan were made sit next to each other. SwaLak were looking at their reactions silently. Even they were curious to know, what the elders are going to do with the newly wedded ones.
Sujatha and Sumi laid down all the sweets to the couple and asked them to feed each other.
RagSan together exclaimed, “What!!!”
Dadi said, “It’s a ritual and you guys have to follow this”. Swalak were laughing looking at them.
Lucky exclaimed, “Ragu you have to listen to ur elders” and Swara said, “Ha Sanky u have to feed Ragu”
RagSan looked at each other angrily while Swalak noticed them. Lucky was whispering in himself, “Even i want to see now, how they would manage in front of others”
Ragini first fed Sanskar and he decently eat it but Ragini has bitten his finger as she was very angry on him. Sanky looked at her furiously but controlled his anger as everyone is looking at them. Swalak were enjoying the show. Ragini acted as if she was worried for Sanky. Looking at her Sanky was puzzled and whispered in her ears not to create a scene. Hearing this she fumed and exclaimed, “Dadi long time back you said that there is a ritual that husband should carry his wife till his room”
Sanky was stunned and exclaimed, “Maa .. how can i carry this fatty. Let her loose some weight then i would think about it”. Ragini was looking at him angrily.
Dadi said, “Rituals are rituals and you have to follow”. Ragini was very happy and exclaimed, “Now no more escapes, now you have to carry me”. Laksh continued “All the life without leaving her in the middle”, looking at Sanskar angrily. Ragini was puzzled looking at Lucky’s reaction
Sanskar tried to speak with Lucky but he has calm down as everyone was watching them. Lucky exclaimed, “I was just joking Sanky, can’t i joke with my bil?”
Sujatha exclaimed, “Why not he is your jiju now and you have full rights to do anything if he does some mischief with Ragu”
Sanskar carried her in his arms all through the way. She was deeply immersed in thoughts looking at him. He easily lifted her and when he took her in his arms she can easily hear his heartbeat. It was speaking a lot with her. He suddenly looked into her eyes to know how much she is enjoying this ride. His eyes fell in her, which were already looking at him. Both were looking at each other. Sumi whispered that you have reached your room, which brought both of them back to senses.
Sanskar was about to put Ragini down when dadi exclaimed, “Let us lock the door and go then you can put her down”.
They locked the room leaving both RagSan. Sanskar threw Ragini on the bed as soon as they left. He turned towards the door and locked it from inside.
Sanskar approached his cupboard to change his dress. Ragini silently got up from the bed and neared towards Sanskar while going towards washroom.
Sanskar grabbed her from waist. Ragini was frozen by his act. He looked into her eyes and said, “Mrs. Ragini Sanskar Maheshwari”. She was puzzled and nervous looking at him.
