The Episode starts with Rajjo welcoming Amma ji. Yuvraj says it is good that you came, now the function will be lively. Amma ji asks where is Anushka? Malhari says she is coming. Amma ji says I came to take my daughter home. Anu comes and sees Amma ji. Amma ji sees Anushka serving to the guests and asks if you don’t have Servants. Malhari says since she came here, she washed all the clothes, utensils and also cooked food. Rajjo says we couldn’t eat the food as Yuvraj ordered food for us, but Servants ate it. Balwat says she is sarvagun sampann woman. Amma ji goes to Anu and asks her to come to her house. Anu says which house and says this is the house of her husband. Amma ji gets angry and says it is enough of misbehavior. She says I don’t regard it as marriage, you are not adorning mangalsutra or sindoor after a day of marriage.
Malhari says today’s girls don’t wear them and says we have given her suhaag jewellery according to her preference. She shows her hand. Amma ji is shocked to see my dadi is a murderer tattoo on her hand. Amma ji gets upset and asks why did you do this. Yuvraj smirks and says Anu is a wife loyal to the husband, like a puppet. Malhari says where is the muh dikhayi gift.
Anu recalls Yuvraj asking her to dance wearing ghungroo. Komal brings ghungroo. Yuvraj asks Anu not to let her Dadi wait and says if something happens to her then I couldn’t see, as I want her to live longer so that I can see her death daily. Anu takes the ghungroo and ties on her legs. Amma ji asks her not to tie it. Anu wears ghungroo and dances on the song.
Amma ji slaps Anu after she ends dancing and asks her to stop the drama. She says what have you done and says whom you thought as Rakshak turned out to be Bhakshak. She says this is not man, but a monster. Anu asks her to stop it and says she will not hear anything against her husband. She says Yuvraj is innocent and says his childhood is ruined because of you. Amma ji asks what you wants to say. Anu says 20 years back, you have killed his parents and also his sister as she was a girl. She says I couldn’t think that anyone can stoop so low.
She says I will do the penance for your crimes and says from today your both grand daughters are dead. She breaks her relations with her. Amma ji is shocked. Malhari, Rajjo and Balwant claps. Amma ji stands shocked and leaves, Yuvraj gives a victorious smile. Anu and Amma ji recall their moments.

Balwant sees Anushka going and asks her to pick his file. He looks at her beauty with lust and keeps his foot on her dupatta. Anu is shocked. Malhari looks on.

Totally agree. This is ridiculous.
From a show which was supposed to be about women empowerment, thanks to Anu’s characterization this show has become a show about woman’s enslavement. Worst.
In what century is this serial is set. The shocking subjugation of married women is just beyond belief. Also, I cannot understand why Indian women allow themselves to be enslaved and badly treated by their husbands and his family. I know that this serial is a work of fiction, but surely the producers must take responsibility for what is portrayed, as this program is watched in cities, towns and villages in India, where this can be misconstrued by the in-education masses.
