During a car ride, Vikram tells Noina he loves the smell of rain but confesses he is growing impatient. When Noina tries to explain she is not ready for a relationship, he suggests they start as friends.
At home, Mihir confronts Tulsi for not hosting a dinner, worried about his friends’ opinions. Tulsi explains her priority is their upset daughter, Nandini. Their argument is interrupted by a video call from Pari, who shows coffee spilled on her notes and blames Sandhya. Tulsi suggests it was an accident, but Pari insists she is telling the truth and manipulates Mihir into promising to send new notes. After the call, Mihir is angry, but Tulsi calms him. Pari smugly believes her plan to separate from Ajay is working.
Elsewhere, Vrinda prepares for work, determined not to lose her job. Asha learns Malti is arranging a marriage for Vrinda, who receives a urgent call from her boss, Angad. She refuses a ride from her suitor, leaving Asha curious about Malti’s intentions.
Vikram and Noina coincidentally meet at a cafe for breakfast, realizing Mihir, who invited them, is absent. As they wait and try to call him, Vikram wonders if Noina is interested in him, while Noina reaffirms to herself that she is not.
Mihir reveals to Tulsi that he orchestrated the breakfast to set up Vikram and Noina, hoping their friendship turns to love. Tulsi urges him to focus on their daughter, but he refuses to talk to Nandini.
In another household, Indira prepares a diabetic-friendly breakfast for her husband, Naveen. Pari offers to make tea but secretly adds sugar, intending to make him ill. Later, Naveen feels unwell, and his blood sugar spikes. The maid reveals Pari added sugar, but Pari denies it, claiming she used artificial sweetener. Ajay defends his mother and forces a hollow apology from Pari, who sees a larger opportunity in the conflict.
Pari then calls Mihir, playing the victim. She claims the family sees her as an enemy and that Ajay insulted her, stating she is unhappy. Mihir, concerned, offers his support, and Pari successfully manipulates him.
Later, Ajay helps Pari find her lotion and apologizes for his earlier words, mentioning he will work from home. He reveals that Akshay’s family is coming to see his sister, Priya. Pari pretends to be supportive, takes Akshay’s number, and secretly awaits her chance to get a divorce.
Precap: Indira once again accuses Pari, this time exposing her attempt to break Priya and Akshay’s alliance. In response, Pari tries to set herself on fire in front of Mihir and Tulsi.
