Noina decides to accompany Mihir and Mitali for a shopping trip, using the opportunity to get closer to Mihir. As soon as they arrive, Mitali becomes engrossed in selecting outfits, while Noina casually tells Mihir to relax and enjoy the moment for the sake of their friendship.
Mitali picks out a few dresses and goes to try them on. Meanwhile, Mihir begins browsing through sarees for his family, which surprises Noina—she notices a sudden shift in his demeanor. Curious, she joins him in looking at sarees and asks the salesman to bring the best designs. Among the collection, Noina picks up a blue saree—the very one Mihir had chosen for Tulsi. Seeing her draped in it shocks Mihir. When Noina remarks that she really likes the blue saree, Mihir quietly tells her to go ahead and take it. Just then, a Sikh customer compliments Mihir, saying his “wife” looks beautiful in the saree. Embarrassed, Mihir quickly clarifies that Noina is only his friend.
Meanwhile, Mitali struggles to find a saree she likes and suddenly notices a group of people staring at her. She becomes uneasy and starts behaving strangely, overwhelmed by insecurity and possessiveness. The shopkeeper, worried, asks if she’s alright. Mitali, now wearing a black saree, seems confused and apologizes to everyone for her odd behavior, saying she doesn’t know what came over her. Soon after, she receives a call from Ritik and leaves the store to meet him.
Back in the shop, Mihir notices a young woman named Khushi neatly arranging sarees. He requests to buy one of her chosen sarees, appreciating her taste. Mitali, jealous that Mihir is buying the saree for Tulsi, deliberately spills coffee on it to ruin it. Khushi, however, offers to clean it and successfully restores the saree’s beauty. Mihir thanks her warmly and praises her hard work. When he mentions that the saree is for his wife, Tulsi, Khushi smiles and wishes both of them a happy Diwali, asking Mihir to convey her regards to Tulsi. Mihir is pleased to learn that Khushi runs her own business and feels content buying something special for Tulsi. Around the same time, Noina receives a call from Mitali, who informs her that she has some urgent work and won’t be returning.
Later, at a café, Mitali meets Ritik and Munmun along with Munni. As they wait, Mitali teases Ritik that a beautiful girl is approaching him—but the girl simply asks for his chair instead. Feeling humiliated, Ritik’s heart sinks, and Munni consoles him. Mitali tells Ritik that someone is toying with his emotions, and Ritik, deeply hurt, insists that he’s never played with anyone’s feelings and finds the situation unfair.
Back at the store, Noina continues browsing sarees and unexpectedly runs into an old friend, Sudeep. She introduces Mihir to him, and Sudeep expresses how happy he is to see Noina smiling again. After he leaves, Mihir asks Noina what Sudeep meant by his remarks. Noina brushes it off, saying she’ll explain later.
Elsewhere, Angad and Vrinda coincidentally bump into each other at a café while buying pastries. Angad, holding a ring, kneels down—just as Vrinda congratulates him on his engagement. They exchange smiles and Diwali wishes, and Angad admits he enjoys meeting her before Vrinda walks away with a soft smile.
Later, Mihir and Noina sit together having coffee. During their conversation, Noina opens up—or at least pretends to—telling Mihir that marriage had always been a dream for her, but her own turned into a nightmare because her husband tortured her. Mihir sympathizes, saying her husband was unlucky to have lost someone like her. Noina continues her emotional story, saying she doesn’t want to remember her painful past.
However, in reality, this entire story is part of Noina’s manipulation—she had earlier asked Sudeep to pretend and support her lie in front of Mihir to win his sympathy. Before leaving, Noina confides in Sudeep that she truly loves Mihir and plans to follow him to Paris. Sudeep wishes her luck, and Noina thanks him for helping her with her scheme. Mihir, unaware of the deceit, collects his bag and leaves, while Noina smiles to herself, pleased that her plan is moving forward.
