Noina returns to Shantiniketan, but as she arrives, a man tries to harass her. Mihir immediately intervenes and warns the man to stay away. Sobha asks Mihir about Angad and her mother, while Noina confides in Mitali that her marriage cannot happen. Mitali panics and breaks down emotionally, forcing everyone to console her. As her anxiety escalates, her blood sugar drops, prompting the guests to gossip. Noina scolds the guests for their insensitive behavior, and Ritik sternly orders everyone to keep quiet.
The same man troubles Noina again, taunting her that she needs a husband to protect her. Noina firmly tells him to back off. Mihir, noticing the tension, asks Satish what is happening. Satish insinuates that Noina needs a man like Mihir, criticizing his own son. Mihir, offended, tells Satish to leave as he stands with Noina. Satish walks away, upset. Noina then tells Mihir she is feeling unwell and wants to take Mitali home.
Just then, Mitali wakes up and asks about Angad. To everyone’s shock, Angad arrives with Vrinda. Mihir is furious and forbids Angad from entering the house. Angad tries to explain, but Mihir orders him to leave and reminds him of past mistakes. Angad, emotional, confesses that he is in love. Mihir regrets the situation but remains unyielding. Vrinda attempts to reason with Mihir, yet he refuses to listen. Angad urges Mitali to reveal the truth, and Gayatri questions Angad about his actions.
Mihir, convinced Vrinda is greedy like her mother, hands her a blank cheque and tells her to leave. He declares he has no relationship with Angad anymore and brands Vrinda a thief. Angad pleads with Mihir not to insult his wife, but Mihir orders them both out. He cuts ties with Angad and with the Virani family name. Even as Sobha and Gayatri attempt to stop him, Mihir stands firm.
Mihir then tells Angad he has nothing left for him, revealing that Angad is only his adopted son. Angad breaks down as Mihir calls him Anupam’s son and demands he leave the house. Angad accepts his fate, saying he will go and never return—except someday, with dignity, alongside his wife. He tells Mihir that no matter what, Mihir will always remain his father. The emotional farewell leaves everyone heartbroken. Angad and Vrinda touch the floor of the house respectfully, but Mihir ignores them completely.
Noina takes Mitali away as Suchi and Sobha try to calm Mihir. Overcome with anger and pain, Mihir repeatedly tells everyone to leave him alone before driving off.
Elsewhere, Tulsi worries deeply as Hemant informs her that Mihir has thrown Angad and Vrinda out, severing all ties. Tulsi wants to confront Mihir, but Hemant stops her, warning that the situation could worsen. Tulsi is devastated by how fractured everything has become.
Meanwhile, Mihir, drowning in his anguish, takes a wine bottle and begins drinking. Tulsi sits alone in the temple, praying for her family. A diya flickers, about to extinguish, and although Tulsi tries to protect it, she fails. At the same time, Mihir harms himself in his emotional turmoil. Tulsi continues to pray desperately as the darkness around their family deepens.
Precap: Tulsi wants to speak with Mitali, while Noina, overwhelmed by everything, attempts to take her own life — but Mihir reaches her just in time and saves her.
