Ranvijay tells Mihir he is unemployed and can offer Pari nothing but love. Noina praises his honesty, and Mihir appears impressed, learning that Ranvijay had initially refused to marry Pari due to his lack of a stable job and finances. Appreciating his sincerity, Noina offers him a job.
Tulsi interrupts, objecting to the marriage and shocking everyone by insisting the real problem lies with Ranvijay. She vows to always side with what is right, not what is wrong. Mihir angrily tells her that even Noina, as just a friend, supports the couple, while Tulsi does not. Tulsi reminds him that she raised Pari and knows what’s best for her. Pari accuses Tulsi of constantly creating obstacles, but Tulsi firmly refuses to let her make the wrong choice.
Irritated, Mihir argues that he himself invited Ranvijay to discuss the marriage. In a stinging accusation, he claims Tulsi discriminates against Pari because she isn’t her biological daughter, shocking everyone. Fighting back tears, Tulsi says no taunt from Pari has ever hurt her as much as Mihir’s words. She declares that as long as she lives, she will prevent anything wrong from happening to her children.
Tulsi confronts Ranvijay about trapping women for money and being jailed twice. Ranvijay denies the charges, claiming he has never looked at any woman with bad intentions. Ritik steps in to confirm Ranvijay’s past arrests, prompting Ranvijay to demand proof. After Ranvijay leaves, a distraught Pari is comforted by Ritik, who warns she is making a mistake. Mihir then asks Ritik to produce evidence.
Later, Tulsi keeps the Karwa Chauth fast for Mihir but remains unsure if he is fasting for her. Mihir calls Noina about office matters without wishing her happy birthday, leaving her hurt. In reply, Noina tells him he will have to come to her in the evening.

I don’t even watch this show or read the updates, but I know its history — and seriously, this is what they’re making after, what, twenty-something years? Just reading one episode makes my blood boil. Ekta keeps putting out the same crap — it’s time she tries something new. Her new shows are just way too toxic. I hope people don’t turn this into another Anupama.
