Kya Hua Tera Vaada? A Nairan Fanfiction ~ Chapter 2

Naina’s POV

I woke up and brushed my teeth. I came down for breakfast. Di had already cooked and we sat down to eat. Kunal Jiju came and sat down next to me. Meher, Muskaan and Jyoti were still sleeping. Muskaan and Jyoti were Di and Jiju’s daughters.
Jiju nudged me and I looked at him, he glanced at Di. Di was unusually quiet today, she was spreading more and more butter on her toast and wasn’t even paying attention to the fact that Jiju had come.

Jiju called Di several times but she didn’t respond. Finally, he snatched her toast from her and she looked at him angrily. I asked her what had happened. Her response shocked me.

“He’s back!”

My eyes filled with tears and everything became blurry. I had tried to remove him from my thoughts but it’s impossible to forget those who give you so many memories.
Jiju hugged me and Di joined in.

Jiju: “Don’t worry! We’re always with you! He hasn’t realized that he has lost such a beautiful thing!”

I smiled with tears in my eyes, “I love the both of you! Thank you so much for always supporting me. Jiju, you went against your brother and supported me. Thank you! I’m really blessed to have the both of you in my life!”

Di laughed at my emotional speech and wiped away tears. I hated Karan so much! It’s so funny when the person who is the reason for your happiness becomes the reason for your sadness! I will never let Karan come into my life again. Di, Jiju and I have given Meher a lot of love and she really doesn’t need to know who her father is.

I had a shower, wore a light green frock and tied my hair into a high ponytail. Finally, I wore light make up and slipped on my flats. I took a cab to my office and entered my cabin. I had to submit a few graphs and sales research to my boss so I knocked and entered her cabin. I was shocked at what I saw.

Karan was standing in front of me!

He looked equally shocked to see me. I blinked away tears and looked straight ahead, at Aditi Ma’am. I submitted my work and walked out of the cabin without looking at him again.

Karan’s POV
I was in Miss Mittal’s room for the deal when she entered. I was so shocked to see her. She was wearing a light green frock. My favourite colour! She had changed a lot, she never wore anything other than a salwar kameez six years ago! Karan! What are you even thinking about? She has cheated me and I will not be drawn to her again! Because of her, my whole family, Bhai, Bhabhi, Khyati, Maa, Papa, Dadaji, Maasi Maa, everyone is against me!
