Bani Dadi mentions she really misses Preeta as she could have made this preparations without any problem and the environment of the house would have been very lively, Nidhi gets furious questioning why do they always talk about Preeta and if Bani Dadi desires so much then must bring her back, Rakhi questions why is Nidhi talking like this to Maa jee as the in laws of Kavya are about to come and if they see them all arguing then what are they going to feel, Nidhi says that they always say she is at fault, Nidhi gets shocked seeing Karan entering the house and so asks Bani Dadi if she needs any help, Rakhi asks Karina what happened, she signals that karan has arrived and asks Nidhi what was she saying to them so must continue. Rakhi informs Karan that all the preparations have been made, he is very glad
Karan enters the room when Mahesh enters questioning what is he doing, Karan says that he is just changing to prepare for the arrival of the guests, Mahesh questions why did Karan hire Rajveer knowing the relation ship that he has with Shaurya, as they both always keep fighting and Rajveer has tried to harm Shaurya, karan replies that Shaurya has also left no stone un turned to ruin the relationship. Mahesh explains he wants Karan should call Rajveer and tell him to not come to the office, Karan does not say anything and after a while refuses to call him, Mahesh blames that Karan is making a mistake and he will not support Karan this time, Karan says that he has not made any mistake and can not fire Rajveer, Mahesh replies Karan is risking his relation with Shaurya for the sake of business which is not a good thing. Karan replies he is not thinking about the business but to find an old relation, Mahesh does not understand it Karan explains that he is doing it to find Preeta hearing which Mahesh is shocked, Karan reveals he has hired Rajveer so that he can get to Preeta, Mahesh is not able to understand, Karan asks if Mahesh remembers the day the fire erupted in their house, he saw Preeta in their house and Rajveer was talking to Preeta, this means there is some relation between them both and Rajveer talks with Preeta. Mahesh asks if Karan is telling the truth, Karan says Preeta is very close so they have to find her, he assures their Preeta would return back to them. Nidhi thinks that what she feared happened, as Karan found out the truth about Preeta but why has she not revealed herself and Karan is doing so much to find her.
Mahesh gets emotional saying Preeta is alive, Karan hugs Mahesh mentioning that Preeta is close to them and he will surely bring her back to this house before the wedding of Kavya, Karan promises Mahesh who assures he must bring her back, they both hug each other.
Nidhi entering her room is very emotional, recalling how she saw Preeta in the lift and then with Rajveer, she had tried to end her life in the fire. Nidhi recalls when Preeta thanked her all those years ago for saving the life of her Karan. Nidhi starts crying so she opens the wardrobe from where she takes out a photo of Karan, Nidhi wonders why is he like this as he only sees the love of Preeta but not how much she loves him, she exclaims she gets worried thinking if he returns back to Preeta. Nidhi exclaims she wants to live by his side and desires he must also live only for her by leaving everything else in this world, Nidhi questions why is Karan not able to understand he feelings she angrily throws the photo which breaks, she realizing her mistake rushes to pick it up. Nidhi questions what has she not done for him, she raised his son and even lived with his weird family. Nidhi thinks he wants to leave her but this cannot happen, she exclaims she used to live happily that he lives around her and this was all that she needed to keep herself happy, she thought Preeta had died so he would need her help and come to her, but it was all just her thought and mistake, she exclaims it was all her mistake. Nidhi places the photo on the console. Nidhi thinks she came here to be his wife and not the maid to his son, she thinks she will not fulfill any other responsibility. Nidhi exclaims she will not let anyone bring him close to Preeta. Nidhi thinks she has to do something as she cannot live with this pain, as it will drive her mad, she thinks she will not let karan go away from her. Nidhi while crying exclaims she loves him the most in her life even greater then her own self.
Varun along with his family enter the Luthra house, kritika greets them and then asks everyone to come as Varun has arrived with his family, they all greet each other when Rakhi explains they were all waiting for them, Varun father mentions they got a bit stuck in the traffic. Kritika asks Varun how is he doing, he replies he is fine when kritika explains they all were eagerly waiting for him but someone was a little bit more anxious then them. They all start talking when the father of Varun explains they got so busy in meeting that they forgot to enter the house.
Mahesh asks Karan to instruct someone to bring the file as he has to study it and send an email today, Kritika asks Karan and Mahesh to come since the guests have arrived, they both greet them.
Preeta is explaining to Gurpreet how Rajveer got a job in such a big company and it was a completely air conditioned building, Palki brings tea for them all when Rajveer requests her to stop as there is no need to tell anyone, Preeta says she feels like she must tell everyone. Palki leaves when Rajveer goes to her, she says he said he does not want Preeta je to come to his office but she came reached there, Rajveer replies he feels that the Luthra’s have given him this job to get close to his mother, Palki asks the reason for it when Rajveer gets quiet, she replies she can wait for him to tell the truth when he is ready. Rajveer gets a call so leaves outside to answer it.
Nidhi is sitting in the room when Shaurya enters asking her why does his father not love him, Nidhi replies because his mother Preeta did not love him, he says that she died when Nidhi mentions but she left Shaurya and chose his brother, if they both were alive then she would be with his brother. Shaurya explains he is furious with Rajveer because his father always trusts Rajveer so he is not going to leave him. Nidhi says she loves him the most in this family, Shaurya replies she knows it, he rests his head on her lap when Nidhi thinks how she heard Mahesh talking with karan but he said that he wil find Preeta. Nidhi thinks that she has to make sure Preeta does not return to this house.
Rajveer answers the call of Sunil who mentions that Rajveer has unknowingly taken a brown file with him, which was in his cabin. Rajveer apologizes for leaving the office without informing anyone, he picks the file assuring he has it in his hands and will bring it to the office but Sunil says that the address which Rajveer has listed in his application is very close to the Luthra Mansion so he should take the file to karan sir, Rajveer questions how can he do it when Sunil requests him to take the file otherwise he will lose his job. Rajveer agrees to go to the Luthra Mansion.
