The makers of tv shows are trying thier best during these tough times to keep their audiences entertained in order to save their slot on the tv. The makers of Kumkum Bhagya are also set to introduce a new twist in the tale by introducing a 2 year leap with a complete change of Bhagya for both Abhi and Pragya.
According to the new twist, viewers will see Pragya meeting with a near-fatal accident after which she goes missing. The leap will be introduced after that and the narrative will fast-forward to two years down the line.
Post-leap, Abhi’s character will change completely and will be a far cry from the rockstar he once was. Abhi will be seen as a dejected drunk who sings only occasionally to fund his addiction as he has lost all his money and fame.
On the other hand, viewers will see Pragya as a powerful figure in a multinational company. The leap will air ton June 18th. Talking about the leap in an interview with BT, Shabir Ahluwalia said, “I’m proud to be a part of the Kumkum Bhagya family entertaining audiences as Abhi for seven years now and I must say that the upcoming leap is going to be one of the most significant, exciting developments on the show. While we’ve had a 7-year leap and a generation leap in the past, this one will literally turn our lives upside down and leave our fans astonished. The whole wedding drama will end on a cliff-hanger with Pragya meeting with an accident and the show taking a two-year leap. In the new chapter, I will be seen as a fallen star with no money and no interest in fixing his life. Initially, his family was everything to him, but now he is least bothered and doesn’t care about anything but himself and his compulsive need for alcohol. To find out what could have possibly led Abhi to this state, viewers will have to wait and watch our upcoming leap.”
Sriti Jha also added, “The leap holds a lot of excitement for our audiences as Abhi and Pragya’s bhagyas are all set to change completely. While Abhi will be seen as a broken man who’s taken to the bottle, viewers will see my character turn into a powerful corporate professional at a multinational company in another country. I look forward to seeing the audience’s reaction to the leap.”

Or this will be not pragya but munni pragya’s identical who was raising two kids…or its pragya with memory loss but someone saved her. I really hope king saves her please or even purab.

So whenever this serial gets low ratings and is stale, they do a leap. This gets people excited to see what is going on now. Problem is that in the leap story, it always ends up with the same ridiculous story lines and a whole lot of questions never being answered nor issues resolved. Oh well, Gotta give the writers credit for the old dangle the carrot in front of the horse routine…LOL. .
I so agree with you. I have stop watching cause I am just watching in circle just the scene is different and time within the show. I can tell exactly what will happen before it airs. Both Abhi and his sister are just alike emotionally, he always expect others to guide him and save him as for his sister she expect she deserve what ever she wants, both don’t listen or see the real issue is their way of thinking and make positive changes with others.

I just read the synopsis on Zee5, it reads Rhea is coming back to destroy the happily married life of Pranbir which means they were not separated!!!
To start off Abhi should have never ever trusted Aliya,tanu and mitali?why he never used his brains, he shud have chucked all three long time ago,but he is very stupid,literally has no brains,no cleverness and yet thinks he is rock star!! Aliya,tanu,mitali,Rhea shud be replaced eith some nice people to play good character roles, not evil roles, wake up mr writer..
This show used to excite me the most among all the Indian dramas but hey, what type of drama where the villains are never caught. And issues are never resolved. Now am pissed off with this drama. And this drama may cause me to dislike all the other dramas on Zeeworld. Their stories should make sense.

Ladies, I’ve been watching KKB since its inception, I don’t know how long many of you have been on this serial as well too but the single most important about KKB is that it’s characters and storyline defies logic. Ms Ekta Kapoor takes great pleasure in tormenting her viewers for this serial and when she can get so many comments on a single episode, close to a hundred, she knows this is the game to play with you all…whip the storyline into controversy and the viewers will definitely not stop watching. Can a beast turn into a unicorn? Hell no!! So how could the evil Aliya ever become Mother Theresa?? The only giveaway and most glaring one at that, was the deal between Tanu and Aliya months upon months ago when Tanu told her better half, if she’s successful in marrying Abhi, she give the business to her because she knew that it was Aliya’s ultimate goal. So, when I read the comments and realise how many sleepless nights, high bp and endless gray hairs Ekta Kapoor has caused you all, please know that no matter what everyone says, she will continue to do what she does best…take you all for a ride.. Her characters are the worst if ever they were real people.. Pragya is not strong enough for those 2 barracudas, Abhi lost his testicular fortitude, if he ever had one… Mitali is a mentally underdeveloped woman, Rhea sucks in all departments…only Shahana and Aryan and Ranbir are positive characters amongst the lot… Ranbir is a gem!! Who wouldn’t want a guy like him to love her?? Prachi is a lost soul and a saint at the same time.. She gives me whiplash with her hormonal decisions.. She deserves to be single all her life.
So, whatever happens in the next few episodes, just relax and enjoy, Abhi will be just where he should be, a poor man, for his dumb decisions he’s been making his entire life…. I’m actually looking forward to seeing him as a bummer and I hope that Pragya in her role of hotshot businesswoman, make Tanu the skeleton witch…and Aliya, pay dearly for their treachery. Speaking of Tanu, good lord, the camera adds few lbs to you onscreen, imagine what Leena Jumani looks like in real!! toothpicks for arms…and whoever is doing makeup for Pooja Banerjee and Leena Jumani..go back for a refresher course, your work is horrible.. Prachi’s makeup is ok but a little too much though.. I don’t think she needs as much!!

Agar starting me hi ye dono alag nhi hote to aaj prachi or riya dono ko maa baap ka pyaar milta or aachi parvarish milti…..
