How happy were we those two years in that small rented house of ours. It is true that “poverty with love is a true wealth”. Though we were not financially stable those two years, we were happy. We would have had a ‘happily ever after’ life if…

If we had not moved in to what she called her ‘sasural’.

It was for my happiness that she compelled me to move in to Kholi Mansion. It was to not separate a son from his family that she beared all the taunts. All that she suffered was for me… And what I gave her in return was just pain and tears…

His thoughts were distributed by the murmuring sounds of his mother and his so-called (second) wife Rhea.

“What times have come.. Now, I have to adjust in this seat that too in the economic class!!” said his mother, displeasure clearly evident in her voice.

“Only I know how difficult it was for me to manage to get four tickets to London. Be happy with that. Thank God for that. The “golden times” when we used to have our private jet has vanished long back,” Ranbir replied back making his mother’s mouth shut.

Pallavi gave a death glare to Rhea who in turn returned a contempt expression.

The “love”, “care”, “protection”, “respect” and what not that Pallavi had said that she will give Rhea didn’t last even one week after Prachi left. The “respect” that Pallavi “thought” that Rhea had for her vanished the very next day Prachi left.

Pallavi and Rhea hated Prachi for their own reasons.

The love and preference that Pallavi showed to Rhea was not because she loved Rhea… It was only because she hated Prachi.

Pallavi had organised a party the very next day after Prachi left. A party to celebrate their “victory.”

Rhea, who was overjoyed with Prachi’s departure drank too much that she lost her sense. She started shouting, whistling hugging uncle’s and aunties in her drunken state.  Pallavi’s attempts to control Rhea went in vain.

“Is this the perfect bahu that Pallavi found fir her only son?” mocked the guests. “A bahu who misbehaves after getting drunk?”

Rhea got angry hearing this.

“You know how much hardwork I had done to get Ranbir? And you are mocking my efforts?” Rhea asked the woman angrily.

She slapped the woman who passed the comment.

“RHEA” Pallavi shouted.

“Eey.. Shut up,” Rhea replied shocking everyone in general and Pallavi in particular. “Today I will celebrate.. it’s my day.. my day of victory.. I have successfully snatched Prachi’s love.. I have given her pain,” she continued.

Aaliya was trying to make her quiet. But Rhea was not in a mood to be silent.

She hugged Aaliya and planted a kiss on her cheeks.

“Thank you booji for helping me. You were the one who played the master stroke. You at first tricked Prachi and Sid into the hotel room, made them unconscious and laid them on the bed” Rhea said.

Everyone was shocked to hear it. Aaliya was trying to hide her face.

“Even after that Ranbir was after Prachi. That day, when I followed her to the hospital, I found that she was pregnant with Ranbir’s child. That would have brought them closer. Thanks to you.. you bribed the doctor and got a fake report showing that the child was Sid’s.. ha ha ha”

Ranbir was shocked as hell. He felt that the ground beneath his feet has slipped away.

How could he be such? How could he believe that Prachi was carrying Sid’s child in her womb? How could he do like that?

“Booji… booji… booji… You are so I intelligent… You gave me the idea of falling down from the stairs and framing Prachi, poisoning her food to kill her baby, pouring oil on the steps to make her fall and what not?”

“Three years earlier, when we were students, you helped me in framing her in theft, drug case and that fake video of Meera that made everyone hate her… Ha ha ha”

Pallavi’s eyes bulged out in shock..

What have she done? “Devi ko chodkar dayaan to choose kiya?”

“She won every time then.. but now, everything is perfect”

“I love you booji”, Rhea said, kissing Aaliya.

“Mummy ji.. you were so foolish to believe me and help me in throwing out Prachi,” Rhea said moving towards Pallavi and hugging her, and fell unconscious in her arms.

The guests had started murmuring among themselves. They were looking at the Kholis in disgust.

Pallavi had turned red in shame.

Ranbir clenched his fist. If it was not his mother, he would have slapped her.

Pallavi was not only removed from the head position of the NGO but her membership was also cancelled. If she is not able to give justice to the woman of her own family, how can she get justice to others? All thanks to Rhea.

When Prachi was staying with them, Pallavi had granted all of Rhea’s wishes. One among those “wishes” was making Aaliya their shareholder. And again thanks to Rhea, within three months, the Kholis started facing their end. They had so much debts. The Kholi Musicals was sold. The Kholi fashion brach faced it’s end. If God do not show mercy on them, they will very soon lose their house too.

How will they get the mercy of God? They have earned God’s rage by their own deeds.

Dida had left the Kholi Mansion cursing them for what they did with Prachi. She went to her maternal house in UP promising to never comeback.

Vikram had nothing to say. He felt guilty. The only thing he had was guilt. He was ashamed for being a henpecked husband.

From the time Prachi left, what the Kholis had to face was shame, disgust, lose and taunts. It is true. A true woman is goddess Durga.. her true tear is enough to destroy you. They are learning their lesson.

The only hope Ranbir have is the deal with the biggest company in the the world- the AP International. After trying for two years he had finally got a chance to meet them. He was planning to go to London when his “family” insisted on coming with him. He had no other way but to agree.

Now only this journey what is waiting for them…
