Kumkum Bhagya fame Khyaati Yash Keswani reveals how Smriti Irani helped her buy a house during Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi days
Kumkum Bhagya fame Khyaati Yash Keswani, who made her debut on the small screen as Sejal Virani in the iconic show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi has very fond memories of working with Smriti Irani. During a recent interview, Khyaati revealed how Smriti is as caring as her popular on-screen role of Tulsi in her real life too.
She shared, “People may see Smriti as a friend, colleague, co-actor, a politician, etc. But I will always see her as the person who went out of her way to help me buy my first home. I was finding it hard to get a home loan back in 2004 and I shared my anxiety with her on the sets of Kyunki. The next thing I will always remember is she has fixed up my meeting with a bank, and has become my primary reference, and the bank, all of a sudden, was eager to sanction my loan. I got other homes on the foundation of that first home. Smriti may not remember the incident, but I will never forget it. She was as caring as her reel character of Tulsi, who knew to make everyone happy. She is the same in real life too.”
