During a family argument, Bua Maa defends her emotional reaction to the situation, snapping at Sonalika to stop lecturing her. She scolds her daughter, Tanya, for defying her, though Tanya clarifies she is only angry with Prarthna, not with Lord Ganesha (Bappa). Sonalika and Bua Maa accuse Prarthna of brainwashing Tanya, which Tanya denies, pleading for everyone to celebrate the festival instead of fighting.
Prarthna arrives and tells Bua Maa that Bappa brings joy and peace, and that she should welcome him properly. She acknowledges that the family sees her as unlucky for Shivansh and wants her gone, a belief Bua Maa and Sonalika confirm, stating they only want Shivansh’s well-being. A furious Bua Maa accuses Prarthna of risking Shivansh’s life. Prarthna taunts Sonalika for becoming selfish and forgetting right from wrong, stating that their hearts know the truth but refuse to accept it. Bua Maa calls Prarthna oversmart and uncaring, blaming her for insisting on the puja against her wishes. Prarthna warns Bua Maa not to prepare for Shivansh and Sonalika’s wedding, calling it an act of love and concern for the family. An exasperated Bua Maa orders Prarthna to leave, asserting her role as Shivansh’s mother and head of the family. Prarthna apologizes and leaves to continue the preparations.
Despite her rage, Bua Maa is convinced by Sonalika and Tanya to attend the puja for Shivansh’s sake and to fulfill the mannat. Sonalika, however, has a hidden agenda: she secretly prevented the priest from arriving and has rigged Bappa’s iron seat to electrocute Prarthna when she bows down.
Meanwhile, Prarthna and Shivansh share a lighthearted moment as they get ready. Shivansh is nervous about hosting the priest, but is relieved when he learns the priest isn’t coming and that Prarthna will lead the rituals. As the family gathers, Bua Maa spitefully reminds Shivansh she is busy planning his wedding. Prarthna, dressed in a red saree, arrives with Shivansh and begins the puja, urging everyone to pray to Bappa for protection—unaware of the danger Sonalika has set for her.
