Payal arrives at Raunak and Smita’s home, surprising them both. Mistaking her for Shivansh, Raunak coldly questions her presence. Payal says she came after hearing about Shivansh snatching their house—because they are like family to her, and she wants to stand by them. Raunak, however, asks her to stay out of their matters. Smita sides with Payal, urging Raunak to let go of past issues. He walks away, and Smita apologizes to Payal. In private, Payal suggests that Prarthna is behind Shivansh’s actions, aiming to destroy the Zaveris. Smita cautions Payal not to interfere but later admits she wishes to see Payal as her daughter-in-law, pleasing Payal.
As tensions rise, Smita asks Kanti to consult lawyers to save their home, but the lawyers fail to secure a stay order. Karan, meanwhile, dismisses his cook. Preeta arrives at his home to work, narrowly missing another encounter with him. She finds herself drawn to Karan’s presence and begins preparing food, praying before Matarani’s idol.
Back at home, Kanti urges Smita to speak directly to Shivansh to resolve their conflict, as only she might soften his stance. Smita visits Shivansh’s house but is intercepted by Bua Maa, who taunts her about her past and defends Shivansh’s revenge. Smita insists on correcting things, but Bua Maa blames her for abandoning Shivansh, leading to his lifelong trauma. She threatens to call the police and throws Smita out.
Prarthna overhears the confrontation and speaks to Smita gently, telling her that Shivansh still yearns for his mother and dreams of her. She urges Smita to melt his anger with a mother’s love. But Smita’s pride flares up—she mocks Prarthna’s “temporary” marriage and accuses her of manipulating Shivansh for revenge. Prarthna retaliates, insisting Shivansh’s actions stem from abandonment, not hatred. Bua Maa returns and expels Smita from the house.
Outside, Payal meets Smita and pretends she came to confront Prarthna. She sweet-talks Smita, manipulating her further by painting Prarthna as the true instigator. Smita, now fully convinced, declares that Prarthna will never help them. Payal offers to talk to Prarthna, while Smita heads home to consult Kanti about saving their property.
