The Episode starts with Ashutosh’s family and the neighbors asking Poorvi’s family to leave from their neighborhood, and saying such people shall not stay who makes the neighborhood dirty. Poorvi and her family stand shocked. RV moves behind. Ashutosh and his family smiles. RV goes to the temple and takes kumkum bottle from there, and comes to Poorvi. He then opens it and fills Kumkum in her hairline shocking everyone. Poorvi looks at RV with hope and respect in her eyes for him. Diya smiles happily. RV says my Maa says that Kumkum is a wife’s destiny and it is in whoever’s destiny, gets applied in that girl’s hairline, and says from today this Kumkum Bhagya is of Poorvi. He says from now itself, Poorvi is my wife. He asks everyone, don’t you dare…I will not hear anything against Poorvi, as her respect is my respect now. He says I will not hear any word against her and nobody can look at her. He says I am RV Malhotra and Poorvi is Poorvi RV Malhotra. Diya and Divya gets happy. Poorvi looks at him and gets emotional.
Harleen says he is not picking the call. Dada ji says why he is not picking the call and says he will call him. Vikrant asks Dada ji to call from his phone and says if we call from Maa’s phone then Dad will think Maa is calling him again. Dada ji says I will call him from my phone. He calls him and they find Harman’s phone ringing there. Harman comes there. Harleen asks why you didn’t pick my call. Dada ji asks from where you got courage not to pick Harleen’s call. Harleen asks him about RV. Harman says when he couldn’t find him, he went to the PS and came to know that there is no casualty amid the riots. Harleen thanks God and asks why he is looking worried. Harman tells that Inspector told that RV had messed up with MLA’s son Jasbir and they are politically strong and Inspector asked us to make arrangements of security for RV. Harleen says if Jasbir has done something. Harman says no, Jasbir is in jail now, Inspector says we have to be careful when he gets out of jail. Tania tells that Yug is also not home. Harleen and others get worried.
Yug looks shocked seeing RV in Poorvi’s locality and filling her hairline with kumkum. The neighbor asks what is this drama? RV says not a word anymore and says it is a humble request to think before saying anything. He tells Ashutosh that he is very unlucky and don’t have an idea, whom he has lost. He says Poorvi is a diamond, such good charactered girl, clean hearted girl is rare to find, and you have rejected her, you are a big unlucky guy. RV asks him to see his brother and asks him, and says my brother says that Poorvi is good and she deserves only good guy. Ashutosh says I am good, very good, but this Poorvi. RV asks him to shut up and tells that Poorvi is my wife now. He says I will not hear anything against her, I don’t want her name to become dirty if you take her name. He says you said that her character is bad, and says her family is silent even after bearing your nonsense and behaved well with you, this is their values. He says if you have any humanity in your heart then think how wrong his mother has done with her, and how wrong he did with her. He says I see everything, but didn’t say anything. He says you had fallen down from scooty, Poorvi asked you to help her get up, but you lift the scooty and didn’t help her get up when she was your would be wife then. He says now you don’t have the scooty, as bike came. He asks if Poorvi had no value in your life. He says I understood that you value things and not the relations. He praises Poorvi and her family’s morals and values and asks what did you?
Ashutosh says I will not hear anything against myself, and says it is enough of you Poorvi Puran. He says truth is that no guy is made for her, what to tell and tells that marriage doesn’t happen if sindoor is filled in maang, and says it happens with rituals and customs. RV asks him to be quiet and says you didn’t value humans, and such talks about marriage and rituals don’t suit you.
He tells turns to Prachi and others and apologizes to them, saying he has done it without asking them, as he couldn’t bear Poorvi’s insult. He says there was no lie, pretendence or act in it, whatever I did is in my conscience and it is my responsibility. He says I know the importance of morals, values and emotions, and also this kumkum as my mother applies it daily, so I know its value and importance. He says Poorvi’s maang has my name sindoor and it is the proof that I will marry her, this is my promise made to you all. He says marriage connects two families, so my family will come to your house to talk about marriage, and says my family elders will talk to you all then I will come here with baraat and will take my bride from here. He says till then Poorvi is my safe keeping in your house and in this neighborhood also. He thanks them and goes to his car. He looks at Poorvi and sits in the car and goes.
Yug is driving the car and asks RV, what will happen next as you have filled sindoor in her maang. Vishaka says now what will happen. RV says I know that I have filled sindoor in her maang, and says whatever shall happen will happen. Divya tells that it is good that if Poorvi marries RV. Diya says it is best, sindoor is filled so what is remaining. Vishaka says they are rich and businessman’s family, has big house and big car. Prachi says that doesn’t matter, what matters is how is the guy? Divya says he is a diamond. Ashok says he has same good values as Poorvi has. Prachi says we don’t know about his family, so how can we decide. Manpreet says if RV’s family wants this alliance. Vishaka asks if he will not tell his family.
RV tells Yug that he will tell the family that he wants to marry Poorvi infront of everyone, socially. Yug asks if they refuse? RV asks if Poorvi has some flaws. Manpreet says Poorvi has no flaws, and she is not less than anyone, but as per societal status, we are low than them.
Yug and RV comes home. Harleen and others get happy. Harleen asks if he is fine. RV says yes. Yug says he is also fine. Tania scolds Yug for not calling and informing them that RV is with him. Yug says I have brought him. Dada ji says I am on your mother’s side. Dadi says we couldn’t sleep all night. RV says sorry. Harleen says we all will have breakfast. RV stops them and tells that he wants to tell them something, something happened, he didn’t plan, one thing happened after the another, and he did what was required. Harman asks him to say straight. Others also ask him to say what happened? RV looks on.
Precap: RV tells Poorvi’s family that he will bring Poorvi before time. Manpreet says we trust you fully. Jasbir’s guard tells him that RV filled sindoor in her maang and promised to marry her. Jasbir is shocked.

Today’s episode was 100x better than yesterday’s (Jan 7th) regressive and over the top dialogues mess of an episode. Wish the writers gave some dialogues to Purvi, but hopefully they’ll give her a spine in the future when RV is the one who is rude to her and reveals his true face and when Khushi tries to dominate over her life.
I’m loving RV’s character right now and conveniently ignoring the part that he set Purvi up and has caused all the mess to lead them to this point lol.
*Cue the unnecessary hatred and disgusting comments.* I read through some of the comments from yesterday’s update thread and man some of y’all are downright nasty based on the language you use for the actors AND characters. 🙄 It’s JUST a tv show my god.
Anyway, cannot wait for more of RV and Purvi scenes and hopefully Ranbir-Prachi’s too. They deserve a nice closure or at least a nice reunion if the makers are intending to keep them in the show for a long time.

She endured so much from her inlaws and her sister and aunt . Her sister and aunt framed her for having an affair. What can be understood by the word “characterless”? I think everyone has their own opinion here. I previously wrote that compared to Pragya, Prachi is shameless 🤭 precisely because when Pragya was embarrassed by her own husband and the father of her children, Prachi, without embarrassment, remained alone with a stranger at that time and later her sister’s fiancé. And for me, Pranbir’s wedding is a big meanness on her part.
As for Purvi – I will be consistent, Purvi also behaved quite freely with RV being Ashuntosh’s fiancée, it’s a pity that no one inherited Pragya’s genes in relation.

Unfortunately for you, RV is the hero of the series only because he is Purvi’s husband. And there is no point in counting on the fact that Purvi’s role will be smaller. I would like now to have more scenes of Rajvi, and less scenes of Purvi with everyone else, it simply doesn’t make sense to count on anything else.
I find it interesting how people can watch a show despite not liking the pairing or the person who is paired opposite your favourite person. Obviously there will be scenes of the pair together. This is not a show that only has one character, and besides, based on the history of the show, more screenspace will be given to side characters unfortunately. Anyways, best of luck to solo Abrar fans. Just be prepared that nothing good comes out of Nagpal’s shows these days.
Personally, in my opinion, Ranbir and Prachi are both equally selfish in their love. They both didn’t care about their families for the sake of their love, but at the same time they both hurt each other. I think how realistically the people of India will explain this to us, but judging by the TV series, I have already seen in other shows when, after such application of kumkum, the wedding was considered to have taken place and the heroine went to her husband’s house. Initially, all this was started by the Abhigyas during the separation, when, due to their selfishness, they ruined the lives of their newborn daughters. This was first of all wrong, and even then they should have thought about their daughters and not about themselves. The girl was unlucky to be born to such selfish parents and their whole life was wrong from the very beginning thanks to their parents. And just like how Abhi behaved with Prachi, Pragya also behaved with Riya. And I was waiting for Abhigya’s daughters to turn out to be smarter than them and unite the family, as was originally promised by the creator, but alas, they turned out to be as selfish as their parents😭

This does not change her attitude towards Riya. Even 2 years later, when Riya married Sid, instead of supporting her, she first roared with envy that Pallavi accepted her into her house, and then when she herself got there, she was busy currying favor with her mother-in-law, instead of supporting her sister and help her.

Everything that I wrote here about Prachi was caused by the dispute between Colin and Abrar about her. What I reproach Prachi for is, in my personal opinion, the only serious offense on her part, while Ranbir has a lot of them. I don’t even consider getting married to Akshay to be a bad thing. Firstly, then she just thought about Riya, and 2. Ranbir himself essentially did not give her any reason to think that he wanted to be with her and not with Riya. Of course, then both of them were also selfish in that they thought more about how to get Khushi and not about what she herself wants, and if they had listened to her more, perhaps it would not have come to this wedding, but still, how would it be It wasn’t selfish, I don’t think that this way of legitimizing custody of Khushi was completely wrong. The path is wrong, but Prachi’s intentions at that moment were noble.
I would have thought that Nagpal would have made good use of this more than a week absence of Ranbir from the plot and turned his story completely on its head, assuming us viewers to be having dementia and changing the reason for the separation..

If we look at which of the leaders was worse, then my personal list is as follows.
1. Ranbir – I didn’t like him from the very beginning, but everything that happened before the last leap pales in comparison to the fact that he left Khushi without any justification.
2. Abhigya – I can’t separate them, with both there are moments that I really like about them and there are things that I didn’t like at all, and now I can’t say whose character is worse for me.

This. Frankly speaking, this one can never have any justification. The Pragya who in hospital immediately after learning that Rhea did Prachi’s accident was telling her to stay away from Prachi else get ready to stay in jail, same Pragya was asking Prachi to forgive her for that just because learning that Rhea is her own daughter!!

Your words would only make sense if, throughout the entire series, Prkagya punished criminals and did not forgive them. Unfortunately this wasn’t possible due to Abhi’s blind love for Rhea and Pallavi’s equally blind hatred for Prachi. If PRANBIR had returned without marrying from that temple then sure as sunrise, they wouldn’t have been able to marry at all because as soon they went back, Rhea would have started her drama of Prachi snatching her Ranbir from her etc. Pallavi would have added her voice to the mix that she wants only Rhea as her DIL. Alia and Tanu, Pragya’s sworn enemies obviously weren’t going to watch the drama without getting involved.
Ultimately it would have been, Pragya and PRANBIR vs Abhi, Rhea, Pallavi, Alia and Tanu, though only Rhea alone would be enough to get done what she wants. She could have done her suicide drama in front of all and that would be check mate for PRANBIR. If Pragya didn’t immediately and without any thought support Rhea then Abhi, Alia and Tanu would have branded her a bad mother. Pallavi would have continued badmouthing Prachi, and Prachi, getting pressurized by all this, would have lost what courage Ranbir gave her in the temple and refused to marry him

Pragya NEVER had any influence over him more than Rhea. Otherwise when Pragya, his fuggie told him that Rhea did indeed try to kill Prachi, he wouldn’t have dismissed her out of her hand. Colin. My main complaint about Pragya is that I have never seen any serious attempts from her to improve relations with Riya. She took everything for granted. She cried after Riya chased her away on Diwali, but after that her thoughts were too busy with Abhi to think about Riya. Actually, then she stopped worrying too much about Prachi, only Abhi became important to her and that is why she earlier understood Prachi’s lies about Ranbir. If she had been more attentive to her daughters, most likely it would not have even come to Ranbir’s wedding with Riya2, and everything would have been clarified earlier. But it was more profitable for Nkagpal to create a love drama rather than focus on family relationships.

Abhi when he found out that Purab loves Bulbul not Alia beat up Purab for it due. Purbul didnt get married for months because Abhi was against it and Bulbul didnt want to cause harm to Pragya in her marriage.
You can point that Abhi did have a change of heart and may have happened again. His influence however was only from Alia and Tanu that time of Purbul marriage. This time nobody except Pranbir and Pragya wanted this marriage, so even if Abhi changed his mind, Pallavi, Vikram, Tanu, Alia and Rhea was there to influence his change in decision. Rhea already tried to commit sucide which Abhi saw first hand. I dont remember Alia trying to commit sucide back then to get Abhi against Purbul.

Even if Abhi didn’t want to hear about Riya’s blackmail, it would be enough to simply understand that Ranbir loves Prachi and not Riya, so that he would take the side of Pranbir’s marriage. He could have been angry at them for bringing this situation to this point instead of directly declaring his feelings to everyone earlier, but he would not have forced Ranbir to marry Riya, knowing full well that he loved Prachi and not her.
I actually liked the way the story progressed until Abhigya’s final wedding. It was from that moment that, in my opinion, the script began to go into a pure love drama without any family connection. I think that it was necessary to either kill Abhigya then, without further unnecessary drama, or leave them only as parents and so that all their conflicts would be reduced to their daughters and simply being involved in their lives. And then it was necessary to gradually improve the relationship between Pragya and Riya, and ultimately completely move away from the Pranbir/Riya triangle and develop SidRiya in parallel.
The creators had great potential when they introduced Sid to develop two stories in parallel and build everything on misunderstandings, and not on intrigues on Riya’s part. Even the incident at the hotel could be presented not as Riya’s plan, but as a setup from Aliya without her knowledge, and thus separate both Pranbir and SidRiya, and then continue the story of both couples based on this misunderstanding. Nagpal apparently simply didn’t have enough imagination for this, but in my opinion, in this vein, the story would have aroused much more interest and the trope that was at the beginning of the bigamy track at this level would have lasted much longer if he had shown almost the same thing, but with Riya’s other role in this.

They could at least have completed the story with dignity after a 6-year leap, if they had not again ruined Riya’s character, but on the contrary, forced her to oppose Aliya and finally defeat her. I don’t think Aaliya will appear now, and if her escape from prison still made sense for the drama with Khushi, then her last alliance with Riya did not make any sense. Alia and Purab was suppose to get married in September 2014. Purab ran away from mandap as he wanted to marry Bulbul but she refused due to her concerns for Pragyas marriage. Abhi then went to beat up Purab and found out about Purbul. Abhi only came to conclusion to get Purbul married 3 months later. That decision Abhi took 3 months when he was only influenced by Tanu and Alia. Even after taking that decision Purbul got married a calender year later and also when nobody was even aware of it. With Pranbir, Abhi may have came to that decision, but it was more dificult, as he had more people that would have influenced him against it as well as Rheas sucide drama.
