Prarthna confides in Seema and Gayatri, accusing Sonalika of sabotaging the household—first by damaging a swing and then by deliberately spoiling the ritual offering (prasad) with garlic to anger Shivansh and get Prarthna ousted. Though furious, Prarthna explains she didn’t confront Sonalika to avoid spoiling the festive day but vows not to let her harm Shivansh. Seema and Gayatri warn Prarthna to stay alert, but she is confident Sonalika cannot come between her and Shivansh.
Meanwhile, Shivansh confesses to Prarthna that he loves her and does not want to marry Sonalika. They reconcile and embrace, promising to stay together. This moment is witnessed by Sonalika, who angrily tries to separate them. Shivansh fiercely defends Prarthna, calling Sonalika an outsider and throwing her out of his room, declaring that Prarthna is his wife. This scene is revealed to be Sonalika’s nightmare. Waking up in a panic, she reaffirms her goal to marry Shivansh and calls her mother for support.
The next day, tensions rise during a conversation about alimony. Shivansh suspects Prarthna has an ulterior motive for returning. They argue about his lack of trust in her and his quick decision to marry Sonalika. Shivansh admits his life is a mess and that he still wants Prarthna, but claims the woman before him is a stranger he no longer loves. He declares he is now happy to marry the “straightforward” Sonalika. A hurt Prarthna claims she is happy for them and refuses to attend the wedding.
Later, Shivansh finds Sonalika in his room choosing a shirt for him. When he sees Prarthna at the door, he deliberately acts charming and appreciative of Sonalika to provoke jealousy. He praises Sonalika’s taste and contrasts it with Prarthna’s alleged lack of interest in beautification. Prarthna criticizes Sonalika’s choice and is mocked by both, leaving her upset but refusing to show it.
