Sonalika searches for Shivansh and grows anxious when she can’t find him. Meanwhile, Bua Maa tries to speak with Shivansh, but the pandit interrupts, calling Shivansh and Prarthna to complete the Kumkum ritual. Shivansh fills Prarthna’s hairline with sindoor, sealing their marriage as the pandit blesses them. Just then, Sonalika arrives and is horrified to witness the ritual. In a fit of rage, she breaks the kalava, pushes Prarthna, and demands answers, unable to comprehend how Shivansh married someone she thought was Raunak’s fiancée.
Sonalika lashes out at everyone, especially Bua Maa, accusing her of betrayal. She refuses water from Prarthna and hurls accusations at Shivansh, saying he ruined her life. Meanwhile, Payal and Raunak plot in secret. Raunak suggests hiring bodyguards to commit a crime, leaving Payal stunned.
Back at home, Sonalika continues to confront Shivansh. She accuses him of cheating, grabbing his collar, and berating him for marrying Prarthna in secret. Shivansh finally admits that he married Prarthna to take revenge on Smita Zaveri—his mother—who destroyed his childhood. Since Smita adored Raunak and Raunak was set to marry Prarthna, Shivansh took Raunak’s place at the mandap to hurt them both. Sonalika is devastated and calls him a traitor. Shivansh, however, is resolute, stating he acted from pain and anger. Sonalika vows revenge on Shivansh and his entire family before storming out.
Prarthna, heartbroken, worries for Shivansh. Meanwhile, Smita and Shubhvi discuss moving into the basement for safety due to the fire damage. Smita breaks down, and Kanti assures her they’ll manage. At the same time, Payal tells Raunak that her father’s bodyguards are unreachable. As she leaves to contact them, Raunak is informed of Smita’s illness and rushes home.
Bua Maa questions Shivansh about his next steps, concerned about Sonalika’s fury. Just then, Shivansh receives a call from his lawyer on speaker. The lawyer informs him that the insurance claim for the fire has been denied, as Prarthna’s prior confession to the incident has raised red flags. The financial burden now falls on Shivansh, whose property was already mortgaged.
Determined to clear Prarthna’s name, Shivansh gets a call from his detective, who has identified the culprits behind the fire. Shivansh orders him to head to the police station so they can expose Raunak. As he leaves to seek justice, Bua Maa cruelly blames Prarthna for all the misfortunes in their lives, leaving her devastated.
