Shivansh confronts Prarthna, accusing her of jealousy and urging her to admit the truth, but she denies it. He says he came to give her something—a cheque for the amount she demanded, representing half his property—and tells her she can leave the house but must deposit the cheque after a week so he can arrange the funds. Shivansh believes she only came for money and wants her to leave, freeing them from trouble. Prarthna mocks him, refusing to trust a post-dated cheque and declines to leave, leading Shivansh to question her trust. She replies that when money is involved, trust is scarce. He feels hurt, but she reassures him she won’t cheat, and he thanks her for her trust.
Watching nearby, Sonalika cries while Bua Maa welcomes the pandit and asks about Prarthna, sending someone to get prasad. She notices Sonalika’s distress and learns Shivansh is still troubled, unchanged and still fixated on Prarthna. Sonalika laments that Shivansh doesn’t hate Prarthna despite her intentions. Bua Maa comforts Sonalika, saying Shivansh belongs to Prarthna but promises to make Shivansh dislike Prarthna through their plan, encouraging Sonalika to loosen the swing’s screws for a ritual; the swing’s failure during the aarti will place blame on Prarthna.
Sonalika doubts the plan’s morality, but Bua Maa insists they must fight fraud with fraud to win Shivansh’s love back. Meanwhile, Prarthna searches for the cheque as Seema arrives after finishing Krishna Bhajan, offering support and urging Prarthna to stay hopeful despite misunderstandings with Shivansh and growing complications due to his Kundali dosh. Seema reassures her she will stand by her and predicts Shivansh will love her more when he learns the truth. She encourages Prarthna to sometimes be perceived as “bad” for love’s sake.
Prarthna considers telling Shivansh the truth about the Kundali dosh, but Seema advises against leaving the Randhawa house to prevent Shivansh marrying Sonalika and urges her to protect him from Sonalika’s schemes. Despite believing Shivansh now prefers Sonalika, Prarthna remains determined, angry at Shivansh’s eagerness to move on.
