Smita confronts Raunak, asking him to return home with the family, hinting they’ll talk later. She taunts him for defying family boundaries and refuses to accept Prarthna. After she leaves, Prarthna questions Raunak, who assures her he’ll explain everything and tells Kishan they’ll talk later. When Gayatri asks Raunak if he truly wants to marry Prarthna, he confirms and rushes to speak to his family. Meanwhile, Prarthna asks Kishan about Seema.
At home, Kishan asks Seema to welcome Prarthna with love, not hatred. Though reluctant, Seema agrees for Kishan’s sake. When Gayatri brings Prarthna home, Seema initially turns away, but Kishan warns her not to hurt Prarthna again or he’ll leave with her. Reluctantly, Seema embraces and welcomes Prarthna.
At the hospital, the MD apologizes to Karan for his staff’s mistreatment. Karan explains that Preeta—his wife and love—is missing, and he’s there to find her. The MD agrees to help in the search.
Smita fumes over Raunak choosing Prarthna over her pride. Kanti encourages her to speak to Raunak and understand him. Kishan informs Prarthna that she’s reunited with her mother, and Prarthna expresses joy at having two moms. She reveals Purvi saved her life by donating blood, and Raunak helped confirm her identity through a DNA test. While Kishan and Gayatri are happy for her, Seema is left shocked. Kishan asks Prarthna to always remember him as her father, and they share a heartfelt moment.
Smita finally hears Raunak out. He apologizes for hurting her and declares he loves Prarthna deeply. Smita is angered and forbids the marriage, but Raunak stands firm—he won’t marry anyone else. He urges her to understand their love. As Smita refuses, Mayank and Harsh back Raunak and get scolded. Baa and Kinjal join in support of Raunak, followed by the entire family, leaving Smita isolated.
Hurt by the family’s stance, Smita is relieved when Kanti appears to back her. But to her shock, Kanti sides with Raunak, saying he always supported her because she kept the family united, but now it’s time to stand with their son. Smita, heartbroken, says she needs time. The family pleads with her to accept Raunak’s love. Eventually, Smita relents and accepts the relationship. The family rejoices, Raunak thanks her, and Smita says she just wants his happiness. However, Shubhvi suspects Smita may still try to stop the marriage—a suspicion overheard by a servant.

This show was successful before Mugdha joined it, and she continued for five years thanks to the success and popularity of Abhigya, who made the show, not her. She had no role in the show’s success. After the exit of Gen 1, the ratings rose thanks to Rhea’s marriage to Ranbir for a few months, then dropped to below 2 for most of 2022. kkb’s rating is a disaster in 2023 compared to the rest of the bhagyas. Where is Mugdha’s success? Except for throwing her out of the show before concluding her story. The current state of the show is primarily due to pranbir’s failure to maintain the audience they gained from the show’s popularity. If they had been able to maintain a decent rating for this popular show, the makers wouldn’t have had to bring in a flop Gen Leap.
Gen 3’s heroes received shows less than two months after their roles ended. Gen 2 has not received any new shows for nearly a year since their expulsion from the show
