The constable frees Shivansh, surprising him and his lawyer since bail hadn’t been granted. Tanya hints she knows who helped him. At the station, the inspector reveals that Prarthna has confessed to the crime. Shivansh is shocked and confronts her, insisting she’s a victim, not the culprit. He scolds her for confessing and refusing to let him take the blame. Prarthna explains her reasons—she has nothing to lose, unlike Shivansh, whose reputation would be destroyed.
Frustrated, Shivansh refuses to support her and leaves. Tanya calls Bua Maa and informs her of the situation. Bua Maa expresses her dislike for Prarthna and hopes for Shivansh to marry Sonalika instead, warning that Sonalika’s father could ruin Shivansh’s business. Tanya agrees with her.
Meanwhile, Shivansh visits the Zaveri house, spots a CCTV camera, and heads to Mr. Mehra, a senior lawyer. He explains everything and hands over the footage that proves Prarthna’s innocence. Later, Shivansh returns home with Prarthna, stunning Bua Maa. He defends her actions and vows to expose the real culprit.
Bua Maa accuses Prarthna of being a bad omen. Prarthna suggests performing a Durga Mata puja, which Bua Maa pretends to have already planned. Shivansh agrees for the family’s sake. Prarthna is touched by his gesture and wonders if he loves her. Shivansh also reflects on her, while Raunak learns the truth behind Prarthna’s confession and feels she might love him. Payal doubts this, calling his love one-sided.
As Bua Maa prepares for the puja, she gets a call from Sonalika, who wants to join the event. Bua Maa lies to avoid her visit, but Sonalika decides to surprise Shivansh. Meanwhile, Prarthna picks a dress for the puja, and Shivansh is momentarily captivated by her. Though he doesn’t express it, Prarthna is hopeful and waits for his acknowledgment.
