Shubhvi contacts Kanti to ask about Smita. He assures her Smita is fine and they’re heading to the hotel, but shares that their house has been burnt. Shubhvi informs him she has already renovated part of it and encourages him to bring Smita home, knowing how much Smita loves it. Kanti thanks her for the effort.
Meanwhile, Shivansh is in police custody, accused of burning down the Zaveri house. The inspector scolds him, citing CCTV footage and claims of attempted murder against Smita. Shivansh denies the accusations, stating his enmity was with Raunak, not Smita. Despite his pleas, the inspector doesn’t believe him.
Raunak and Kanti bring Smita home, and she gets emotional seeing it restored. Shubhvi humbly says she was just doing her duty. When informed about Shivansh’s arrest, Smita states that she filed the complaint and insists Bua Maa cannot help him.
At the police station, Bua Maa demands to meet Shivansh but is told to wait for her lawyer. Prarthna defends Shivansh, asserting he couldn’t have set the fire as he was locked inside a room, but her statements are dismissed. Bua Maa accuses Smita of framing Shivansh out of hatred.
Bua Maa, Tanya, and Prarthna visit Shivansh in jail. He asks for Prarthna, and upon seeing her, gets emotional. Bua Maa, noticing their bond, grows jealous and walks away, upset that Shivansh is emotionally drifting toward Prarthna.
Outside, Bua Maa vents to Tanya, claiming Shivansh has become distant because of Prarthna and that their growing closeness is dangerous. Tanya tries to reassure her, but Bua Maa is convinced she’s losing her influence. The lawyer arrives, and Bua Maa orders him to secure Shivansh’s release.
Later, Bua Maa storms into the Zaveri mansion and confronts Smita for filing the complaint. A heated argument follows as Bua Maa accuses Raunak of actually setting the fire. Shubhvi is shocked, and when Payal tries to calm things, Bua Maa silences her. Smita defends herself but is shaken when Bua Maa threatens to expose her past. Raunak intervenes and asks Bua Maa to leave. She warns them she’ll return and won’t spare anyone.
Back in jail, Shivansh opens up to Prarthna about his successful business empire. He observes that she has something on her mind. She thanks him for not scolding her and he tells her not to feel guilty for supporting Smita, acknowledging her good intentions.
Just then, the lawyer informs Shivansh that while bail may come, the scandal will damage his reputation. Worried, Prarthna takes a drastic step—she rushes to the inspector and falsely confesses to the crime to save Shivansh from ruin.
