Kumkum Bhagya 18th September 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com

In a fit of rage and despair, Shivansh violently lashes out, breaking objects around him. Tanya intervenes, attempting to calm him. Overwhelmed by emotion, he unleashes a torrent of pain, declaring that his worst fears have been confirmed: women cannot be trusted. He claims they destroy men, and he will never trust another. He had placed his faith in Prarthna, believing her to be innocent, pure, and virtuous, but now feels she has wounded him more deeply than Smita ever did. He concludes that he must not love her.

Seeing his anguish, Tanya feels profound sadness. In a raw and vulnerable confession, Shivansh admits he previously lied about his feelings. The truth, he reveals, is that he loves Prarthna immensely; she is his source of peace, the person with whom he envisioned spending his entire

life, his very heartbeat. Her perceived betrayal has shattered him, and he is left desperately asking why she would break his heart.

Tanya tries to make him see reason, insisting that Prarthna loves him deeply. She argues that he is blinded by Prarthna’s words and actions, unable to perceive the love that is evident to others. She urges him not to trust her negative statements about not loving him.

Their intense conversation is interrupted by Bua Maa, who instructs Tanya to go attend to Sonalika. When Shivansh offers to go instead, Bua Maa insists that Sonalika specifically needs Tanya and forcibly takes her away. Once alone, a furious Bua Maa slaps Tanya. When a stunned Tanya demands an explanation, Bua Maa scolds her for creating chaos in the family by encouraging Shivansh’s feelings for Prarthna.

Tanya questions why Bua Maa is so opposed to their union. Bua Maa coldly states that the family will lose everything if Shivansh chooses Prarthna. A horrified Tanya asks if money is more important than Shivansh’s happiness. Bua Maa retorts that everyone, including Tanya, needs money. Tanya then poses a difficult question: are they all living with Shivansh only for his wealth? Offended, Bua Maa denies this, calling the thought disgusting, but justifies her actions by stating she is like a mother to him. She lists the sacrifices she made to raise him, forgoing her own career and ambitions, and declares it is now his duty to repay her.

Tanya accuses Bua Maa of deliberately separating Shivansh from his true love. Bua Maa counters by complaining that Shivansh always chooses Prarthna over her, that Prarthna has an overpowering influence on his mind, and that he has forgotten his family because of her. She cannot tolerate anyone else having a claim to his life and is determined to remove Prarthna from the picture. She vows to maintain her power over Shivansh.

When Tanya asks why she is behaving like a possessive mother, Bua Maa defends her right to be possessive, citing her years of sacrifice. She explicitly states that in return for her love and dedication, she demands he leave Prarthna and marry Sonalika, who truly loves him. Tanya stands her ground, stating that Shivansh loves Prarthna. Bua Maa orders her to be silent and choose a side, threatening to send her back to the hostel if she disagrees. After Bua Maa leaves, a shocked Gayatri is revealed to have overheard the entire conversation, now understanding Bua Maa’s manipulative motives. Tanya notices her.

Meanwhile, a resigned Shivansh calls his associate, Jai, and instructs him to sell half of his property to arrange funds by the next day. Gayatri approaches him and asks if he is gathering this money for Prarthna’s alimony demand. He confirms this, expressing his exhaustion with the entire situation and his desire to escape this “bad dream.”

Gayatri challenges his perception, asking if he truly believes it’s all a dream. She offers him sisterly comfort, urging him to be honest with her. She asks him to promise to tell the truth and directly questions whether he loves Prarthna. He deflects, saying it’s pointless now that everything is over, but Gayatri sees the truth in his eyes. She presses him to admit it just once. Finally, Shivansh drops his guard, stating he is no longer afraid to hide his feelings.

He launches into a heartfelt monologue, confessing that he married Prarthna as an act of revenge against Smita. However, he unknowingly fell deeply in love with her. She healed his past traumas, made him forget his anger, and became his entire world. His love became clear to him when he felt a surge of jealousy upon seeing her with Raunak. He reflects on how Prarthna commanded him with a wife’s authority, understood his pain, taught him the value of relationships, and ultimately became the very “language of his feelings.” Now, her demand for a divorce and money has left him devastated.

Gayatri smiles and tells him that Prarthna loves him immensely. Shivansh refuses to believe it, citing her refusal to acknowledge his feelings and her demand for money. He also mentions that Sonalika attempted suicide after he confessed his love for Prarthna to her. Gayatri remains steadfast, insisting that Prarthna lives only for him and constantly thinks of his well-being.

Convinced by Gayatri’s certainty, a determined Shivansh resolves to talk to Prarthna one final time. He confronts her, demanding to know what she truly wants. When she coldly repeats that she wants money, he cuts her off. He orders her to be silent and reveal her true intentions and her real self. He issues a final ultimatum: she must break her silence and confess the truth, or she will lose him forever. This is her last chance.

The episode ends.
