Kumkum Bhagya 18th February 2025 Written Episode, Written Update on TellyUpdates.com
The episode starts with a 20-year leap where Kishan is seen performing aarti for Lord Krishna, while Prarthna visits the college to check the exam results. At home, Dadi inquires about Prarthna’s whereabouts, and Kishan informs her that she has gone to check her results. After doing so, Prarthna leaves. Gayatri calls Prarthna, asking where she is and mentioning that she is hungry. Prarthna assures her that she is on her way home and will prepare food for her immediately.
Meanwhile, Dadi distributes prasad to Smita. Harsha and Keertan receive prasad and ask why the household has been unusually silent since morning. Dadi explains that it is Akshaya Tritiya, a day when all married couples in the family remain silent until the pooja is completed. Dadi then notices Sejal and Arjun arguing over a phone and promptly asks them to stop, which they do. She continues distributing prasad to Kranthi, Tevan, and Hetan Kumar.
Later, the entire Thakur family gathers for breakfast. Sneha, who is on a diet, asks Smita about her meal options. Smita uses hand signals to indicate there is dry fruit juice, but Sneha does not understand until Dadi explains. The younger family members joke at the dining table, but Smita signals them to stop and asks everyone to focus on eating. Harsha and others comment that only Ronak can joke with Smita.
During breakfast, Smita receives a phone call, but Sneha answers it and steps aside to order an eggless cake. Overhearing this, Dadi mistakenly assumes the cake is for her birthday and believes her family is planning a surprise. Prarthna arrives home and shows Gayatri the exam results. Gayatri excitedly announces that she has failed and asks Prarthna to make a Sheru cake for her. Prarthna agrees.
She prepares the cake and writes “Happy Failure” on it, as per Gayatri’s request. When Seema returns home and sees the cake, she questions Prarthna, accusing her of mocking Gayatri’s failure. Prarthna clarifies that Gayatri specifically asked for the cake, but Seema scolds her and tells Gayatri to go inside. Kishan later confronts Seema about her reaction, reminding her that Prarthna has only studied up to the 7th grade.
Prarthna then questions Gayatri about why she is celebrating failure. Gayatri reveals that she failed on purpose to avoid marriage, as passing the exams would have led Seema to arrange one for her. Prarthna reprimands Gayatri, saying her actions have let down the entire family. Feeling guilty, Gayatri apologizes and promises not to repeat her mistake.
Later, Prarthna wishes Dadi a happy birthday. Dadi asks her to be quiet, believing her family is planning a surprise. Prarthna agrees and asks what Dadi is doing. Dadi responds that she is writing a letter to Ronak. Meanwhile, Ronak is seen riding a bike.
The episode ends.

I have nothing against the 4th generation, perhaps the story of the relationship between the heroes will be good. The first episode is not bad overall. However, this is all good only if you discard everything that has been shown up to this day and perceive it as a new series… For me, this is difficult. I can’t calmly look at how Rajvi’s daughter lives… Instead of living in a wealthy, loving family, she turned into a servant of strangers who even…

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Prarthna only studied to 7th grade. According to reports it will be a saas bahu drama.
Mother in law will probably despise Prarthna for her illiteracy
or an orphan when she learns more
or an orphan when she learns more her past I wish she can be like Rani on Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani she was determined and she learned the truth of her parents death with the help of her husband off course
No there is nothing linked to previous generations it’s completely new and it is inspired from kabhi saas bahu it it’s all about married life of prarthna
All excitement for this gen being a clean slate & actually good and non toxic is down the drain!
Prarthana being an illiterate & gullible is such a turn off. a cruel adoptive mom to top that!
I was looking forward to better dynamic cutesy story. Heck people were also saying it’ll along the line of kdrama slightly.
Also what a downgrade of fl.
Pragya was a profession as far as I can remember. Prachi, Riya & then Khushi, Purvi were well educated to Prarthana 7th grade.
FL can be smart and assertive too for a change and quick witted and dashing.
Let’s see how this goes.
From whichever area in India these serials originate from, cannot hold a candle to Kdramas…that’s an offensive observation. Indian serial writers cater to rural areas not urbanites..this is actually an insult to the lesser educated Indians..keep them entertained with enough negativity and sensationalism, in this way, they keep the audience addicted to its hooligan characters who eventually becomes more interesting than the lead actors..Happy watching, I’m out.
Pragya was a professor Mtech,PhD holder and a college professor along with her part time business that managing kumkum bhagya marriage hall with her mother and sister
I am so Ashamed of the way this story end Monisha and Jessie Wins and Poorvie and RV Lost What a shame
Feeling very sad..wth Gen3
KKB has ended for me also.. jus 3 more episodes for Kkb 3000 milestone and they did not extend and celebrate wth Gen3!!!
they were part of the serial for almost 1&half years
I could take back what I said today about the boring plot if it were part of a new series and not KKB. The promo presented something completely different. Now it seems to me that this may be more of a family story, and not a struggle for a man as it was in previous generations. I like this. However, it is extremely unpleasant to watch how a girl born into a wonderful, loving family, who is also quite rich, ends up being humiliated because of her poor education. If the creators had at least retained the hope that she would find out about her origins and be reunited with her family, it would have been much more enjoyable to watch.
For me, even if Rajvi had been killed, but Prathna had remained to live with her father’s family, it would have been much better. The whole family and the whole business were based on RV. They could show that they went bankrupt after his death due to grief and the fact that without him and the support of Manisha’s father they could not save their fortune. But Prathna did not receive an education because she took care of the family early. For me personally, such a plot would look much simpler than what we actually have.

For completing 3000 episodes kkb has to go nearly 20 or 15 episodes counting is wrong on zee 5 app
Very very sad waited so many yrs to see happy endings not one couple stay together kkb n kb had no happy endings of the key characters these directors dont deserve any awards hoq can believe in love when the evil people wins what a waste watch zee tv serial
Kushal was more suited for this role instead of current male lead they should have given kushal this role unfortunately what a crap!….. I don’t but kushal is more suited to play Ronak only then Prarthana and Ronak chemistry will be good but now no matter even the promo is not interested to me. Well can see the show for the case of pranali.
I see positivity in this new generation. It almost makes me want to follow the series.
Well I know I’m getting a little carried away since we’re only at the first episode, but I would like things to continue in this direction. Let the cursed generations pass where they are. It doesn’t matter if you find Purvi’s death unfair, it will just go unpunished as long as it doesn’t negatively affect Prathna. And seeing what kind of actress Monisha plays, I doubt she will return to the series to play the role of an elderly woman now.
And then tell me a little, what kind of rumors are circulating that Monisha will be Prathna’s future mother-in-law? Whoever threw it deserves a slap 😤
Whoever said that about Monisha being a mother in law, should check their brain function. Purvi delivered a daughter when Monisha was still single and trying to get RV between her legs..so, no…Monisha can’t logically be a mother in law unless she adopted an older child through marriage etc

Oh well no I don’t agree with your idea at all. It would be repeating the same story as with the Tandons and we all know how it ended. Personally it’s better that Prathna no longer has a connection with the Malothra. In a sense it’s a way of breaking the cursed bond she has with her ancestors. Let’s hope that this generation is the last and that it ends with a happy ending.
Hi didi…..
Oops Sorry I thought you were didi 😂😂….
Why you and didi use the same profile at one written update. I forgot to ask you because after that day I didn’t visit this site since 4th gen have started I have came to see how the story moves on. So here is the thing tell didi that didi used your email id on this site one time because didi and king of heart had same profile for two times 😂. Also you are Welcomed even when didi doesn’t comment anything on this comment section. There is no rule like you should comment the day didi comment. I am just telling you that so many people visit this site and they will misunderstand didi and you are same person 😂
This is a good comment for IG..I expressed almost the same thoughts on this 4th season of KKB. The disconnect is real and glaringly so..if it wasn’t for the retention of Khushi, nobody would know if this is KKB. Abhigya still has to be cremated, Pranbir still has to reunite, Khushi and Purvi hasn’t reunited with their father and now Rajvi has been lost in this commotion of AN OLD PACKAGING WITH NEW CONTENTS…alongside a gigantic cast as long as the breakfast table, looking like giving the dining table at Buckingham Palace, a run for its money..I viewed last night’s episode, it’s not attractive to me, plus, I’m giving up on zeetv serials, in any case..last man standing for me is KMTMG..Then I’m done.

The Malhotra family is the best of those presented in the series so far (it’s too early to draw conclusions based on the 4th generation). They, like no one else, deserved a happy ending, just like Rajvi, not because they like/dislike the couple, but because they had the most normal relationship and a truly loving family. Prathna’s birth family is much better than her adopted family, and not only because they are rich. That’s why I don’t enjoy watching the series now.
Zee TV is completely frightened for trp 😂😂😂😂
No episode of any series of 18th February has been made free, despite today’s episodes of some shows have already been aired 🤣🤣
Now I have conflicting feelings. The couple didn’t excite me, but I can’t call them bad at all; perhaps more will be revealed later. I like the actress. The story looks attractive, the hero’s family is positive. If this were a new series, it could be quite interesting for me, but within the framework of the KKB I can’t accept all this yet.
I can’t stop thinking of Prathna as Rajvi’s daughter. Their cruel death and the conditions in which she eventually grew up so far negate the positive aspects. The story about the uneducated girl is quite interesting to me. But the story about a girl whose mother was brutally killed, who was left in the temple to save her life, and who went from a loving, wealthy family to a family where she received no education or love, may be of interest to me only if there is at least a hint that she will someday be reunited with her real family.

On which base do you call them ‘the best family?’ ?
In fact they are the worst, worse than Kohlis. Harleen was worse than Ranbir’s mother Pallavi. RV’S grandmother worse than Ranbir’s dida
Kohlis at least turned hostile towards Prachi because they were led to believe that Prachi trapped their son in fake molestation case..Kohlis hatred at least in the beginning had some justification. What justification did Malhotras hatred for Purvi is there? That she is Khushi’s sister?
The entire wretched family supported RV in his blind revenge against Khushi AND stood with him in his disgusting work of ruining Purvi’s life, whom Malhotras very well knew is innocent of any injustice done towards them, and you call them the best family??
Purvi saved Dadu’s life, and his laado despite knowing this and also knowing that Purvi is innocent of anything Khushi has done, threw herself in hating not only Purvi, but Prachi as well (the scene where Prachi came to meet Purvi after Purvi’s arrest and RV rescuing her) and you call THIS family as best?
When Monisha made it look like Purvi gave wrong medicine to RV, Harleen didn’t take a second to forget what all Purvi had done for him, from sucking off snake venom to saving him from Neha; and asked her to stay away from RV…and you call THIS family as the best, of all??
This same family hadn’t hesitated even for a second in supporting Monisha’s scheme of getting married to RV under the veil….everyone of them was selfish till the end and only cared about RV. Even if we discount the degradation this family didn’t go through due to abrupt termination of the story itself, based on what is already shown, Malhotras are still the most despicable family so far
For me personally, anything Malhotras did later on isn’t needed to dub them as the worst..the mere fact they ALL knew about RV’S revenge plan and still didn’t feel even a second’s remorse in contributing to ruining an innocent girl’s life, just for their son’s peace of mind, is enough for me to dub them as the worst so far. Definitely these same people would have supported Khushi against Purvi if the generation had continued
Colin. Just the fact that they were all behind the revenge plan is also a sign of a friendly family for me😂😂😂 I judge not by their attitude towards Purvi, but by all relationships in the family. Purvi did not immediately fit into their family, and a good attitude did not immediately arise towards her, but excluding her, they had unity, harmony in the family. No one, not even the negative characters, felt envy or anger towards their family members. The most important thing is that no one put pressure on anyone and they didn’t impose their opinion. There was respect for elders. I don’t call the Kohli family good because of Pallavi’s excessive pressure, they didn’t accept Prachi okay, but she put pressure on Ranbir all the time, which RV’s mother never did. It’s not worth talking about Mehra… Sheer envy and anger, besides Abhi, only the grandmother was normal.

Well when RV didn’t ever really do what Harleen didn’t want him to do then why will she need to put pressure on him for anything?
Harleen was completely on-board with RV in taking revenge against Khushi using Purvi, and almost everything RV did falls under that umbrella. Then where comes the question of blackmailing him for anything??
In case of Ranbir, he very expressly went against in Pallavi in something as big as marriage
Pranali Ratho d is a boring actress
