Nandini is talking on the phone with Naren saying that she does not feel his father has any fault in this, Naren says that she means to say his father is right to get him married, Nandini replies that she feels his father does not know that he has someone else in his heart otherwise would not be talking with him about Sujhan, Naren mentions he told his father but he did not listen so Nandini replies even he did not listen, Naren asks what is Nandini saying tat he should marry the daughter of Sujhan and leave her. Nandini explains that it takes time to forget someone, she knows Naren likes her so would not forget her but he should give some time to his father to forget the daughter of Sujhan, Nandini asks why did he not sit down to calmly explain it to his father when Naren replies he did
Naren goes to Viren saying that it would have been better if he had just talked with Nandini as she solved his problem, Viren asks if Naren told Nandini that his father HemRaj Ratansi has never turned back on his word and so Naren says that this time he would have to change on his decision as it will effect three lives. Nandini is in her house thinking about how Naren talked of his father, she is very worried.
Naren is painting the face of Nandini when Chanchal says her eyes are very beautiful when Naren agrees with her so Chanchal asks him to come and sit down saying she never had any objection on the decision of his son, he questions then why is she not getting her right in this house he asks if his father chose her or she chose him she replies only his father has the right to chose. Naren replies it is wrong as he should have the right to chose the one he loves. Chanchal questions if he knows his father as he never takes back his word, Chanchal requests Naren to let her talk however he refuses explaining he is neither afraid of the dark nor staying alone. Chanchal says she knows he is very brave but there is not any war and he will not lose now but would he be able to celebrate after defeating his father, as this war will end with a middle way, she asks him if Nandini is pretty and demands to see a photo when Naren shows her the photo of Nandini. Chanchal holing the phone goes to see the portrait of Naren explaining the photo which he has made with his imagination is very beautiful, Chanchal says that he could not have a better match, she knows Kirti is not a match for him when Naren explains she is just a child and he does not know what his father saw in her, Chanchal replies that he only saw the wealth because Kirti is the only child of Sujhan.
Roupa brings the hot water for her sister who says that she should forget these relations as here they are just sister in laws, she puts her feet in the water but they start burning when she demands some more water, Roupa is asked if she thinks that the daughter of Sujhan would enter the house, she imagines how if Kirti comes then Roupa would have to massage her feet while Jalpa is bringing hot water and will plan to burn her feet with the hot water, Jalpa starts laughing exclaiming that now she realized what would happen to her when Roupa asks what happened so Jalpa explains if the daughter of Sujhan comes then would treat them like servants but Roupa says that it is not the case however Jalpla mentions only she can think what will happen, Jalpa asks Roupa to take control of Ronaq just like her when Roupa questions how can she control the sand as it just starts slipping, Roupa leaves.
Naren tells his mother that Nandini belongs to a middle class family and the condition of Nandini is that, Chanchal asks since when do women have conditions when Naren questions that when boys have the choice of a beautiful and understanding girl then should women not have a choice to find a match when they donot desire dowry. Chanchal asks why is he talking like this about his father however Naren apologize saying he did not meant like it, Nandini explains that his father believes in these traditions, Naren says that when someone asked Nandini about the traditions then she replied they were formed in the times when they were needed but not in these modern times. Naren asks what is her choice asking if she desires a daughter in law who is mature or rather someone who is of a young age but full of jewelry. Chanchal asks him to send the photo of Nandini.
In the morning Chanchal enters the room holding the photo of Nandini, HemRaj asks Chanchal what does she think would be the price of this jem, she says he is the one who has set it and it would be the best. Chanchal asks him to look at the photo of the jem which she had when HemRaj starts checking the photo.
Nandini calls Naren asking if Maa has showed Bau Jee the photo when Naren replies he should thank her because otherwise he would not showed his mother, she asks what did his father say when Naren replies that his father would take some time.
HemRaj says that she did not see the photo clearly as she is wearing very cheap slippers and even the jewelry is fake, he then gives the photo of Kirti explaining that the beauty would end with time but this jewelry will remain the same and so he asks her to throw out the photo of Nandini from her phone and even her life. Chanchal starts crying saying he only thinks right about his mother but does not have any regard for her decisions when HemRaj gets up saying how he asked her to not cry in front of him, he promises to fulfill the desire so asks her to send the photo after which he will arrange the Kundali, Chanchal starts thinking about the conversation with Naren, HemRaj asks what is she thinking about but she leaves, he holing the phone exclaims that such a normal girl had the courage to think she can become the daughter in law of HemRaj Ratansi.
