Naren tells Kirti that he is sorry, mentioning she is nice just the way she is and he did not want to insult her in front of so many people but does she not think they should call themselves rose when they are able to gather their scent, Kirti asks if they have to do so much when Naren says that this is just for today so Kirti mentions she does not want to do it, Naren agrees telling Kirti that one cannot become Nandini just by changing the name as it takes a quarter of their life just like they cannot become HemRaj just by their name as it takes a life time, Naren mentions they have understood he wants to marry Nandini not due to her name but her qualities, he apologizes to Sujhan saying Kirti does not have to change her name but Sujhan must promise that he will make sure Kirti is like Nandini is her actions and behavior after which he will surely agree to marry her, Sujhan turning to Seth HemRaj Ratansi says he was an idiot who came to be disrespected here, Sujhan says he is going and this time everyone would know about the promise of HemRaj, he asks Kirti and Kavita to come as they are going to leave, Naren stops Sujhan for a moment, he slowly walks up to him holding an empty bowl from which Sujhan picks the necklace which he hands to Kirti, Sujhan leaves after furiously looking at HemRaj who also keeps staring at Naren, he tries to leave but is stopped by HemRaj saying that behind his name is his efforts and struggle of the past fifty years but Naren has ruined his respect in front of Sujhan in a moment. HemRaj mentions this is his disrespect, Naren replies HemRaj disrespected Nandini by giving Kirti her name, he asks how can Bau jee even thought about doing it, he gets angry as he is also his son so if he has said anything then is apologizing to him holding his hands, explaining if the girl he loves is disrespected then he would not accept it while his father should forgive him, Naren leaves while HemRaj slowly walks to stand in front of the cake, he angrily turns the table causing the cake to fall, everyone gets worried.
Naren is worried in his room and so sits on the bed, Heta comes to the room mentioning his Nandini is very beautiful, she sits beside him saying that after seeing his Nandini can one understand that simplicity and teachings can be the real treasure of a women, Naren says that such things are found in books, Heta says even she felt like it but has gotten a new hope after seeing his Nandini as she feels there is still someone present who can bring them to real life, and his behavior proves it all. Naren says she saw how much Nandini had to be insulted, Heta says they have fallen in love so it is certain that such problems would arise.
Chanchal asks HemRaj what sort of test is this as he ridicules Nandini in front of everyone when she accepts that Nandini is not of their social standard, Chanchal says Naren is not a child anymore who would be scared after being locked, HemRaj mentions Chanchal knows it is his last resource and he could have stopped Naren but he kept quiet Chancal says that he still gave kirit the name of Nandini and made fun of her, HemRaj asks then what did Naren do to him as his words do not have any importance left in front of Sujhan and now this would spread in the entire society.
Jigar tells Dhawal that the words of HemRaj would not have any importance left in the society so now he would throw Naren out of the business, Dhawal asks Jigar to not think like this as HemRaj says one thing very true of himself that his thinking starts from where they stop, and one cannot snatch the rights given to their children.
Naren says he cannot understand what is the importance of these rights when he cannot even make a decision and so how long would he live like this when he so calmly told his father that he cannot marry Kirti as she is just an immature girl of eighteen years but his father does not understand it as he thinks of only his business partnership and it can’t happen anymore, Heta replies that everything has happened according to his desires, Naren replies because his father has not faced his son till now, he says he has respected his father a lot but his father should realize that things will. Heta says now they would also see his behavior, but things will get troubled.
HemRaj tells Chanchal that he should not do anything for fear of the challenges, he says that Naren said one thing true that he had built respect in fifty years but things would work according to his desires however Chanchal asks if he would be happy to force his son to accept defeat, she suggest he should try to talk with Naren personally however HemRaj replies he has said it that he would not do anything personally but in front of everyone.
Samta is with her children in the kitchen when the son says that HemRaj tried to impose his decisions on Naren but he also refused to accept it then Samta’s daughter says they all know the true reason behind it all so it is good that Naren bhai started the war, Samta replies even if there are differences even then everyone stays together then there is a hope of ending he differences so they should not raise such conversations.
Naren explains a lot of conversations have been kept hidden but now they would come out and everyone guilty would pay the price, Heta says he should just think of himself, and Naren replies he does not feel like talking with anyone else other than Nandini and he has decided to only marry Nandini no matter the one he has to stand up against. Heta exclaims that women donot have the right to talk in this house so this is why she could not say anything, but she feels Nandini would surely bring a new change in this house, she leaves with a smile on her face.
In the night Naren is sitting when Devin brings coffee for him, he praises the father Naren for playing such a nice game, he asks Devin to stop talking of Mughal e Azam, Devin says that Naren is doing the same thing however Naren replies he is doing the right thing, Devin suggests that Naren should run with Nandini as HemRaj is the most respected person in the society so would accept their relation, Naren says he cannot harm the status of his father and does Devin think Nandini would accept it, Naren gets a call from Nandini so Devin says that she will live a long life. Nandini shows Naren the birthday card, which has all the photos of Naren, he asks if she took them from social media and she replies it is important what they mean, Naren says nothing could be more important for him, Nandini replies she has a lot to talk of and she is sure his family would have thought of something important so he should sleep, Naren also wishes good night to Nandini before ending the call. Devin tells Naren he just has one way that is to get out of Rajkot, Naren starts thinking of it and is worried.
