Sonakshi asks Dev what happened, he mentions the lawyer called asking if they have got the papers signed which were sent for the name change, Sonakshi says they cannot do it because Aayush has with a lot of difficulty told them what he feels like, that he was not ready to change his name to Veid Dixit, she says she will go to talk with her but Dev mentions he will himself talk with her however Sonakshi says she will go now as Maa has come back from Mandir.
Ishwari calls Soha and Aayush to come, Sonakshi mentions she needs to talk with Maa but she first takes the blessings and then Shuv also comes with Aayush, Ishwari takes the ladoo feeding it to Shuv, she then also feeds Aayush because he is shy, Sonakshi signals him to accept it, he eats it, Shuv demands another ladoo eating
Sonakshi mentions he is worried that his name would include Dixit in his name and now she did not even think to consult her and Dev, she also likes the name, Ishwari mentions that Aayush has not been able to consider them as his family as he was not able to end the differences of his past life so he is then able to move on, Sonakshi replies she is the mother of Aayush and likes the name so would not in any circumstance get it changed as she is the mother, Sonakshi leaves.
Saurabh takes his bag exclaiming he has a very important meeting, the lights go off when he is about to leave, he seeing the lights go off says they once again went off, he realizes it is because Bijoy is trying to fix the VCR, he tries to convince Bijoy to not work on it as it cannot be fixed however Bijoy is convinced that he will manage it, Saurabh get up to leave, he place the things that fell where he finds the recording of Bijoy’s marriage with Asha, Bijoy replies this is what he was working towards, Saurabh explains he would at once convert the recording onto a DVD but Bijoy fears it might erase the recording however Saurabh swears on his Asha that nothing would happen to the recording, Bijoy says that the warmth of relations doesnot end when the relations end, they just need to feel it.
Sonakshi enters the room of Aayush exclaiming there is a good news as she told Dadi that they will not change the name of Aayush as she along with him like it, she exclaims they should dance, Aayush mentions he doesnot know how to dance, she replies even she doesnot know the dance, they start dancing on the song, Soha gets excited seeing them both, Sonakshi asks her to also join them so they al start enjoying, Dev comes to the room while talking on the call, Soha brings him in ending his call explaining they would all just enjoy today, Dev and Sonakshi both start the dance and share an immense laugh, reliving their past moments, all of them are really happy, Dev gets a call so leaves explaining he needs to take it.
The stalker is lying in the bed wearing the slippers, he even applies the perfume hen Alena comes back and opens the door, he gets worried, she enters turning on the lights is shocked to see the bed is all messed up, the stalker hides behind the curtain, Alena is worried how the bed got so messed, she going to the dressing picks up the perfume saying she never leaves the bottle open, Alena turns in a state of nervousness, she sits wondering where the slippers went so sees them by the curtain, Alena starts walking towards it, not knowing someone is hiding behind it, she touches the slippers picking them turns to leave, she sits on the bed wearing them, Alena starts removing her jewellery when the stalker quickly leaves the room, Alena notices something so she locks the door wondering what is happening as she locked the room.
In the night Ishwari is decorating when Radha comes saying they are really lucky as they found Aayush really quickly, Ishwari mentions this would be the first function of Aayush in their house and that too in which the relation of the sister and brother gets strong so Soha would tie the Rakhi to Aayush, Ishwari is excited as this would strengthen the relation of Soha.
Soha in the room asks Aayush how does he know the number of the bus that would go to his Grandparents house and also which Metro station connects it, Aayush replies his father taught him how to travel, he was missing his Grandparents so desired to meet them, Soha questions why does he not live with them just as she lives with her Grandmother, Aayush replies he wants to but his Grandmother is really old and has to take care of his Grandfather who is ill, she would not have managed to take care of him which is why he returned, she asks if he wishes to talk with them, she brings her Ipad, Aayush asks if she has an Ipad, Soha mentions she was gifted this iPad on her birthday, she connects the Wifi, Mr Verma is sitting when he receives the call, he asks Misses Verma to come as Aayush is calling, Soha along with Aayush greet them, they question if Aayush and Soha have had the dinner, Ishwari opens the door, Aayush replies they had and Soha’s Dadi even gave them chocolates, Radha sees Ishwari standing at the door, so goes to her, Ishwari is worried, Mr Verma exclaims Soha is looking really pretty, Mr Verma advises them to behave like good children and also that he must always listen and obey to the directions of the elders, Mr Verma mentions he felt nice Soha also came to talk with them on the call, she ends the call.
Radha says to Ishwari she feels Aayush is still more connected to his old family then them, Ishwari replies there is nothing to worry as tomorrow is Raksha Bandhan and it will mend the relations.
In the morning Sonakshi is trying to fix the Gajra when Dev comes and helps her, she asks if he remembers the last time when he helped her, Dev exclaims her mobile always rings, she points even his mobile rang, she explains that Dada texted they are on the way and he has also brought the sweets, he mentions Nikki said that she doesnot want any gift, Sonakshi is tensed when he mentions she said he can give her the gift card so she can buy it herself as she doesnot want to risk getting a gift from him, he exclaims his choice is really classy, Sonakshi replies she doesnot know the last time when he gifted her something nice, he asks what about the watch, she mentions it seems from the nineteen hundreds, he exclaims she is also his choice, Sonakshi replies she is an upgraded version, he leans in for a kiss, Radha knocks on the door, Sonakshi asks what happened, she asks them to come downstairs as everyone is ready, Sonakshi leaves saying he can test her upgraded version tomorrow.
Soha is running after Shuv asking him to return the balloon, he stops saying to Radha that he wants a Rakhi which has cartoon, Soha replies she will tie him the Rakhi which has cartoon, Ishwari coming asks if everyone has selected the Rakhi, saying she has brought the favourite sweets of Nikki as she would like always feed him one while eat three herself, Aayush replies they all are really colourful asking if Soha would also tie him a Rakhi, Soha says she would do what her mother tells her to, Dev takes the children to play cricket, Ishwari stops Soha asking if she would also tie a Rakhi to Aayush, Soha replies only Gollu and Shub are her brothers, Ishwari says if she would tie a Rakhi then would get a big gift like the mobile which she wants, Soha agrees saying she will surely tie the Rakhi, Sonakshi looks at her in a state of confusion.
Precap: Nikki enters from the door, she greets everyone, Bijoy also comes with his family, Ishwari suggests they should first perform the Rasam, Sonakshi exclaims it is now time for Aayush, she looks worryingly at Soha.
