Hi. I am RANDOMFAN. I think if I am not wrong some of you already know me. Yes I have written fan fictions on other shows before. Actually I was suppose to write this ff by end of May but I am too excited that’s why I decided to start this ff this week itself. Hope you all love it.
As you all know this ff is combination of Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aisa Bhi and Ek Duje Ke Vaaste but don’t worry I will give equal importance to both the shows and their pair so no worries. So just chill and enjoy this fan fiction. And I will mention if there is individual scene for the show you like, like if you only watch one of them.
The story in this fan fiction will be totally different from the actual show. There will be a mix of romance, drama, suspense, comedy and all that. The concept of my fan fiction is actually to show the different shades of love that a couple have each other. Both couples will show the different shades of love they have for each other. The difference is one couple will cover love marriage and another couple will cover arranged marriage. Basically, I want to show that whether if someone have love or arranged marriage they can still love each other but in different shades. Well which couple will cover love marriage and which will cover arranged marriage, that I won’t reveal now. So keep guessing. And I think as you continue reading the episodes you will get to know which couple covers which kind of marriage and how they highlight out the different shades of love.
Now, here is the introduction of the characters of my fan fiction Kuch Rang Pyaar Ka Ek Duje Ke Vaaste- The different shades of love we have for each other. And yes there will be some changes to all the characters compared to the actual show. Here is the introduction for the characters.
Leads
Dev Dixit (Shaheer Sheikh) (KRPKAB)
Well here Dev’s character is somewhat similar to the actual show, he is professional. He do behave arrogantly at times, he is a very serious person. At the same time, sometimes there is also humorous and fun side of Dev which only his friends and family knows, most doesn’t knows about his fun side. Only his best friend, Shravan knows what is going on in his mind mostly.He is a very rich businessman. He loves his mother Ishwari the most and she is his everything. He pampers his siblings a lot too, but is very strict with them at the same time. He believes in love but he is not that romantic.
Sonakshi Bose/Sona (Erica Fernandez) (KRPKAB)
The eldest daughter in the Bose family, a Bengali family. She is called Sona by her family members. Her character is also somewhat similar to thr actual show. She is a nutrionist and she is also very stylish. She is a foodie but is cautious about her diet, she is always concerned about her sisters and parents. She belongs to middle class family, but she doesn’t have any demand. She is busy in her work, and she have no time to think about love. She is very accepting, kind-hearted and sweet. She is very close to Sumo.
Suman Bose/ Sumo (Nikita Dutta) (EDKV)
The younger daughter in the Bose family and yes here Sumo is a Bengali character. She is the younger sister of Sona and she shares everything with her. Her mom named her Suman after her friend. Sumo is a caterer, and she loves to cook a lot. She is from a middle class family. She loves her friends a lot and she is super friendly. She is not much interested in her studies, but she wants to be independent. She tries to help out those whoever are in trouble. She is kind-hearted but at the same time a little naughty.
Shravan Malhotra (Namik Paul) (EDKV)
The eldest son in the Khuranna family. He is a lawyer and he only takes up selective cases. He is very choosy, strict and disciplined. He is even more strict than his best friend, Dev. But he knows Dev very well. He is not much close to his family, but he always tries his best to obey his parents. He also have humorous side like Dev, but not that much. He likes to joke only when he is in good mood. But he feels there is something missing in his life, but he doesn’t knows what is that.
Supporting Characters
Preeti Bose (Aditi Rathore) (EDKV)
She is the 2nd youngest daughter in the Bose family, but for some reason she got married first the reason will be revealed later. She is very sweet and beautiful, and shares a special bond with Elena. She stays with her family most of the time as her husband Pushkar is always away from the city.
Elena Bose (Prerna Panwar) (KRPKAB)
She is the youngest daughter in the Bose family. She is cute, bibbly and chirpy. She is very hardworking here and studies come first for her. She respects her family a lot and their decision.
Bejoy Bose (Jagat Rawat) (KRPKAB)
Father of Sona, Sumo, Preeti and Eleena. His daughters are everything to him. He is closest to Sona and Preeti. He always thinks about his daughters first.
Asha Bose (Moon Banarjee) (KRPKAB)
Mother of Sona, Sumo, Preeti and Eleena,she also loves her daughters a lot. She is closest to Sumo and Eleena. She is very funny and humorous.
Pushkar Khuranna (Ranjeet Singh) (EDKV)
He is the cousin of Shravan, and also his very good friend. They both studied law together. He loves his wife, Preeti a lot and her happiness matters him a lot. He takes tip from Shravan to make Preeti happy. He will play a role in Shravan-Sumo’s story.
Neha Dixit (Chehsta Bhagat) (KRPKAB)
The elder sister of Dev, and she is also happily married with Ranveer. She loves her family a lot and she is quite caring too.
Nikki Dixit (Aashika Bhatia) (KRPKAB)
The younger sister of Dev, and she loves her brother a lot but she is very scared of him. She loves her brother a lot and she will play a role In Dev-Sona’s story.
Ishwari Dixit (Supriya Pilgaonkar) (KRPKAB)
The mother of Dev and she single handily brought up Dev and her other children after the demise of Dev’s father. She is a very good human being. She cares about her children’s happiness the most and she is the saas which every bahu wants.
Vandana Malhotra (Shraddha Jaiswal) (EDKV)
The eldest daughter in Malhotra family , sister of Shravan. She is funny and supportive here.
Ramnath Malhotra (Satyajit Sharma) (EDKV)
The father of Shravan Malhotra he is very strict and disclipined but he is very good human and shares a special bond with his daughters.
Negative characters
Kamini Malhotra (Anjali Mukhi) (EDKV)
Here she is the biological mother of Shravan but she is not that good. She is not very evil but she is very selfish. She cares about herself more than her children. She hates sumo to the core.
Radha Rani (Alka Mogha) (KRPKAB)
She is the neighbour of Sona’s mom here, she often comes to Bose family to disturb them and talk nonsense. She doesn’t like Sona much and she is selfish. She is Ishwari’s sister in law also.
New characters
Abhi Malhotra
He is the younger brother of Shravan, Hates him a lot for some reason. Yet to be revealed and his entry will be after few episodes,
(Assume Anuj Pandit as Abhi who was last seen as Ajay in Tumhi Ho Bandhu Sakha Tumhi)
Anuj Sarkar
He is the cousin of Sona and Sumo. He is the most pampered as he is very young and when he comes to Bose residence and he is funny. Will also be shown in few episodes time. Only person who can teach Radha Rani a lesson.

Nishi Malhotra
The youngest daughter in Malhotra family and younger than Shravan. She is very worried about Shravan. She doesn’t believe anything on what Shravan says.

To make it clearer and avoid confusion there is 3 families in this story;
1) Bose family: Sumo and Sona’s family. Sona is the eldest daughter, followed by Sumo, then Preeti and youngest Eleena. Bejoy and Asha are their parents.
2) Dixit family: Dev’s family. Dev is the eldest son followed by Neha and then Nikki the younger daughters. Ishwari is a single mother who single handily brought them up.
3) Malhotra family: Shravan’s family. Shravan is the eldest son followed by Vandita, and then Abhi and Nishi(new character)are the younger ones.
Promo 1: Here its shown Dev a rich businessman who only works, and works and works, and he is quite moody. Later, he sees his mom and sisters watching TV and they look at Dev scared and Dev from moody smiles, they also smile and he joins them. Sona on the other hand is nutrionist, and she scolds an elderly guy nicely to take care of his diet. Later she comes home and she scolds Saurabh for over eating Later, Dev and Sona collide, Dev holds Sona and saves her from falling and they share an akward eyelock. And they smile and later they walk in opposite directions and they smile looking at each other.
Promo 2: Sumo is a caterer, and she looks around and she is waiting for someone. Later, in the evening after delivering all the food, she returns home where she finds a guy, and she sees his face(He is Shravan) she follows him, and finally she manages to catch up with Shravan, Shravan looks at Sumo and she slaps him. Shravan is stunned. And he says you have not done right by doing so, madam you will have to bear the consequesnces for it and they eye each other angrily. And Suman says I will see. Shravan says if I don’t teach you a lesson my name is not Shravan. Suman says if I didn’t bring some manners to you my name is not Suman. And they walk opposite directions angrily.
How will both the opposites attract in these two cases?
