After sometime
Krishna helped Saumya to go to her room and arranged things for her. Suhani and Bhavna also came and they sit with her. Krishna was asked to go to her room and get freshen up. She smiled and left for her room.
Sayyam was not there when Krishna reached the room. But unknowingly enough, she felt a huge amount of happiness as she enters the room after these days. She remembers it was in the evening when Saumya became unwell, she he ran to her mother and stayed with her. And then it’s this evening again…she came back to her room. It’s quite a long time.
Krishna comes inside the room and then only she feels how much she missed this room. The calm and serene atmosphere of the room, the cozy fragrance of the room, the pale moonlight filtering through the windowpane inside the room and giving it a heavenly dazzling….and also many other little things. She missed everything about this room…but how couldn’t she get that until she reached back here…she wonders.
Krishna sat on the bed and was unpacking her stuffs when Sayyam came inside. Krishna didn’t look back but she knew it as she felt the strong smell of his deodorant in the air of the room. And that was it. Her heart started pondering like anything. She forgot about the stuffs on her hand and stood there steel.
The strong smell of Sayyam’s deodorant reminded her of the passed moment of the evening when they were wrapped in each other’s arms and they have had their First Kiss.
The same feeling of the moment reran through her veins as she remembers the moment. Suddenly she feels a little move on her arms and came out of her thoughts. She looked back at Sayyam, who shook her.
Sayyam: Kahan khoyi ho tum?…Main kabse tumhe bula raha hoon?
Krishna looked down to hide her flushed face. Little droplets of sweat appeared on her face.
Sayyam Krishna…are u alright?…
He touched her forehead to check her. Krishna became nervous.
Sayyam was being tensed to see her like that, but little did he know he only was the reason behind all these. His proximity was raising Krishna’s heartbeat. It was all the effect of his doings in the evening. He kissed her, suddenly. His way of presenting his loneliness, without her, has shook her inwardly.
Krishna: I’m fine…kuch nahi hua.
She went to keep her cloths in the wardrobe, saying that.
Sayyam: Then why r u sweating like that all of a sudden?
Sayyam followed her up to the wardrobe. Krishna wiped off the sweat drops with her stole.
Krishna: Nahi…aisi koi baat nahi hai.
Sayyam: Okk…may be you r tired that’s why… u take rest for some time.
Krishna: No it’s fine…I’ll help Maa in the kitchen.
Krishna said that and was about to go out of the room in trying to distract her mind but that never happened. Sayyam holds her hand and it raised her heartbeat even more. She looked back at him.
Sayyam: Krishna…
Krishna did her best to make her pondering heart quiet and calm down. But it didn’t work so well.
Sayyam brought her more closer. Krishna fixed her gaze downwards.
Sayyam: Why r u trying to running away from me?
Krishna didn’t expect this. She became more nervous, became speechless. Sayyam continued
Sayyam: No…I mean…if it’s because of the evening incident…I mean…if…if u didn’t like it…I’m sorry…actually…I must say sorry…I just…all of a sudden…I shouldn’t hv done this…but plz…I didn’t mean to hurt u or…I’m really sorry…I’m…
He looked at her when finished uninterruptedly. She was now looking at him. She never knew her behavior will hurt Sayyam.
Sayyam was expecting her to say something and so did she, after a lot of struggling with her own mind and tongue.
Krishna: It’s not that…
Sayyam’s expression changed to a relieved one. He waited for more.
Krishna: It’s…It’s just that I became nervous…
Sayyam: I’m really sorry…
Krishna didn’t say anymore rather preferred to hold Sayyam’s hand with her free one. She did it unknowingly enough.
Krishna: No need to say sorry Sayyam…we r husband wife…more than friends.
Sayyam looked back at her deep brown eyes. Actually he too was feeling different and nervous about the incident. And when he saw Krishna acting weird, it hurt him. He thought she was hurt. He shouldn’t hv done that being vulnerable.
Krishna spread a little smile in trying to comfort the situation. Few minutes back she was trying to run away from this situation and now she only was handling it as she found Sayyam vulnerable too.
Love has the power to change people’s mind, anytime, when it comes to the Loved ones.
Krishna always became Sayyam’s strength and she again proved this by handling the situation with her cute smile. Sayyam too smiled a bit.
The shyness was back into Krishna’s eyes to see him smiling. After all, she didn’t know she had this hidden talent to handle such situation by her own.
The thing that was bothering both of them since it happened, became normal with both of them.
Sayyam: Thanks…
Krishna took her hand off of Sayya’s hold and left the room soon after that, smiling to herself, when reliving the previous moment in her mind. Happily joined Suhani and Bhavna in the kitchen.
Sayyam went to the washroom to get freshen up, lost in thoughts.
