Kriyam os: Fulfilling Marriage Vows
“Let me cut the cake and bring it for all of you”, Baby announced loudly taking the cake with her. Krishna offered to help but Baby coldly brushed her offer aside and walked towards the kitchen. Baby kept the cake on the kitchen cabinet
and took out an injection hidden in the kitchen. She cut a piece of the cake and injected the transparent liquid into it. ” Ramdin, cut this cake and give it to everyone and take this one also”, she said pointing to the piece of the cake she had
injected the liquid into. She wanted someone from the Birla family to have it. Baby wanted some drama in this party without which the party was too boring.

Kishna was about to eat her piece of cake when suddenly Yuvaani grabbed it. Krishna’s irritation was clearly shown as she spoke,”Yuvaani give me the cake”. She tried to grab it in vain. Saiyyam was watching this and smiling. Before
Krishna could reach the cake Yuvaani ate it. Seeing Krishna upset Yuvaani brought her another piece of cake and fed it, making Krishna smile. Yuvaani left behind Saiyyam and Krishna as she made her way towards Suhani. Saiyyam felt
awkward to stay alone with Krishna. As he turned to go, Krishna felt great pain in her stomach and everything started to black out. ” Sa…Sa…Saiyyam…”, Saiyyam turned around hearing her call his name and was shocked to see
Krishna lying on the floor curled into a ball and coughing out blood. Saiyyam was shocked, he felt his whole world crashing onto him. He was scared and calls everyone. The Birlas are shocked at the sight and immediately admitted
Krishna to the hospital.

Krishna was taken into the ICU while Saiyyam was standing outside, he had not shed a single drop of tear. He had so many emotions going through him. He was shocked,sad and confused about everything. He wanted his Krishna back,
that Krishna who scolded him when he back answered Dadi. He wanted that Krishna back who had wanted to become his friend and who didn’t see him as a rapist’s son.He wanted HIS Krishna back. Suhani was crying hugging Yuvraj
while Yuvraj was shedding silent tears. Everyone were scared and sad. The only one who seemed happy was Baby. Dadi was also feeling sad because she had lost her memory and had made a good relation with Krishna in the
past few days.
Yuvaani saw Sayyam’s state and went to him. “Sayyam cry your heart out, don’t keep it all inside. It will break you more. I know that no one was there for you before but now all of us are with you and nothing will happen to Krishna”,
Yuvaani said trying to comfort him. Sayyam looked at Yuvaani and that one eye contact made him lose the control he had. Tears started to flow down his cheeks and he hugged Yuvaani, crying on to her shoulder. The atmosphere was
tense when the doctor came out. As soon as the doctor came out, Saiyyam rushed to her. “Is Krishna fine? What happened to her? can I meet her?”, Saiyyam started bombarding her with questions.”Calm down beta”, Suhani said almost
scolding him.
“We could find traces of poison in her body and her condition would have been serious if you hadn’t brought her on time.Her condition is stable but she is still unconscious. Only one of you can meet her”, The doctor informed and left.
Saiyyam was first shocked hearing the doctor’s words but soon relief washed over him and he was desperate to meet Krishna. Suhani sensing Saiyyam’s desperation said,”Saiyyam, you go see her we all will wait outside”. Saiyyam was
happy and went inside after giving Suhani a hug and thanking her.
Saiyyam entered the room to see a pale Krishna lying on the bed with a lot of machines connected to her through tubes and pipes. He went and sat near her bed and held her hand. He started crying,”Krishna, please wake up. Please I
can’t see you like this. I want you back. I can’t live without you. Please wake up. Please talk to me”. Saiyyam wanted to hold her close to him and never let her go. He wanted to protect her from every danger in the world. And at that
moment he realized how important Krishna was to him. He realized that he wanted to spend every second of his life with her. He realized that he LOVED her. The realization made him happy and he wanted to tell this soon to Krishna.
With a smile on his face he slept resting his cheek on his and Krishna’s entwined hand.

Light hit Krishna eyes as she opened them. She closed it shut not able to take in the sudden brightness. She slowly opened her eyes and realized that she was not in her room. Suddenly, she felt something move against her hand. She
turned her head to see Saiyyam sleeping peacefully near the bed. She carassed his hair with her other hand which disturbed Saiyyam’s sleep. He opened his eyes to see Krishna awake and his joy knew no bounds. He went near her and
pulled her into a hug making sure not to hold her too tightly. Krishna was elated, from the past few days she was trying to make her relation with Saiyyam better. She was happy to see the relief in Saiyyam’s eyes when he woke up and she
knew he was relieved to see her safe and fine. She always knew how much ever rude he acted, he cared for everyone. She saw his care for her, when she had burned her fingers due to the face pack. Thats when she realized,
eventhough he avoided her he cared for her, he was just not used to showing it to anyone.
Her chain of thoughts were broken when Saiyyam broke the hug. She had to forcefully stop her hands from pulling him into a hug again. He cupped her face,”Krishna are you alright? Is it hurting? Should I call the doctor? Wait let me call
the doctor”. Krishna stopped him,”Saiyyam I am alright, just feeling a little tired but what happened to me?”. At that moment the doctor entered. She checked Krishna. “The poison has made her a little weak, with some days of rest she’ll be
alright. And you can take her home in some time”, the doctor said to Saiyyam. Saiyyam thanked her. After the doctor left Saiyyam went near Krishna.”Saiyyam do you know who would do this?”, Krishna questioned him. He
suspected Baby but he didn’t want to give Krishna stress.”Saiyyam, where is Suhani aunty and Dadu?”, Krishna asked bringing Saiyyam out of his thoughts.”Oh shit! I sent them home yesterday and I forgot to inform them that you are fine.
They will be worried”. Saiyyam informed Suhani that Krishna is fine and that they will be returning home the same day.

Krishna was standing outside the Birla House with Saiyyam beside her as Suhani was doing the Aarti.”Beta,come in”, Suhani said. Krishna took a step ahead when she kneeled down as pain coursed through her body. She felt excrutiating
pain in her ankle. She let out a gasp as she saw that her ankles were bleeding and she then realized that she had sprained her right hand. Saiyyam kneeled down next to her checking her ankle, concern and care clearly seen on his face.
“Krishna, try to slowly stand up. Lets go to our room and redress your wound. Krishna tried to stand up holding on to the wall and Saiyyam but halfway through it she felt her knees give away. She close her eyes waiting to hit the ground
but instead two strong arms held her. She opened her eyes to see Saiyyam. He carried Krishna and started to walk towards their room. Tears started to form in Krishna’s eyes as she couldn’t bear the pain. It pained Saiyyam to watch
Krishna like this. He gently lay her down on the bed. He moved to examine her wound and redressed it.
It had been three hours from the time she returned home and she was feeling hungry. She tried to get up to go to the kitchen. “Stop Krishna, what are you doing?”, Saiyyam asked concern clearly written on his face. ” I was hungry, so
wanted to grab some food”,Krishna replied pouting. Saiyyam wanted to just pull her cheeks, she looked so cute when she pouted. Everytime he stopped himself but this time he didn’t. “You are not moving anywhere. Lie down, I will bring
you your food and I will feed you as you have sprained your wrist”, Saiyyam said pulling Krishna’s cheek. He walked to the kitchen leaving a surprised Krishna behind.

One week had passed by and Krishna altogether got to see a new side of Saiyyam. He took care of her. He never let her get out of the room. He brought her food and even fed her when she was too weak. She knew she loved Saiyyam
but seeing how he cared for her, her love grew ten folds more. But she knew Saiyyam never loved her, he was way too guilty to love her. She tried explaining to him a lot of times that whatever happened was not his fault but he was not
ready to listen anything. Her chain of thoughts were broken when she heard Dadi shouting at Saiyyam.
She went out wanting to know what happened. She stumbled as she entered the living room and within a blink Saiyyam was by her side holding her. “Are you alright?”, Saiyyam asked her. “Yeah, its just my clumsiness”, She replied
making him smile. “Get out of my house’, Dadi yelled managing to get Saiyyam’s and Krishna’s attention. By this time everyone were present in the hall. “Get out of my house and take your wife with you I don’t want you in my house”, Dadi
started yelling again. “Dadi, what happened why are you asking them to get out of the house”, asked Yuvraaj. Dadi was way beyond angry because Saiyyam had unintentionally spilled the beans to the world that The Great Chandrakala
Birla known for using her company’s fairness products to maintain her beauty, was using botox. Dadi again started scolding Saiyyam when Krishna couldn’t bear it anymore and came to her husband’s rescue.
“Dadi why are you making this such a big issue, anyway the truth would have come out one day”, Krishna interrupted Dadi. After Krishna’s marriage however rude Saiyyam was with her, he helped her become stronger and braver, he
taught her to back answer Dadi if she was wrong but Krishna still stopped Saiyyam from Fighting with Dadi when it was unessaccary. Saiyyam taught her the difference between being kind and being used as a doormat. And today she
would fight for him, the person she loved no matter what. “So now you are backanswering me. Suhani thats why I told you not to bring this roadside trash into our…”, Dadi was stopped by Yuvraaj before she could continue. “Dadi Yuvaani,
Yuvaan, Saiyyam and Krishna are all equal to me. So, no one is going out”, Yuvraaj said, his voice told everyone that he was ordering and not requesting. “Why should they stay with us?”, questioned Dadi irritation evident in her voice.
“Krishna will not go out because she is my daughter and Saiyyam…”, Yuvraaj couldn’t complete his sentence as he was interrupted. “And Saiyyam, Saiyyam is a rapist’s son. What if he rapes Krishna, Baby or worst Yuvaani. Will you
support him then too”, Dadi asked completing Yuvraaj’s sentence. Everyone were spellbound, no one imagined that Dadi had such opinions about Saiyyam. Before anyone could say anything Saiyyam said he would leave the house soon
and walked into his room closing the doors behind but not locking it. Yuvraaj also walked away saying that he would leave the house if anyone else left.

Saiyyam walked out of the washroom to find Krishna waiting for him. His eyes were red from the unshed tears. Dadi had hit the weak spot. He always felt guilty about his dad raping his mom. Krishna had tried to make him understand
many times that it wasn’t his mistake but Saiyyam being Saiyyam always remained in his guilt bubble. “Saiyyam…”, Krishna tried speaking when Saiyyam stopped her. “No Krishna I don’t want to talk I am a rapist’s son don’t come near me I
may do some thing wrong… Stay away from me… Stay away… Stay… Away…”, saying this Saiyyam sank to the floor and started crying. Krishna had never seen him like this and it pained her heart to see him like this. She knew that he was
guilty about the whole Sambhav drama but never knew he was affected by it so much. Krishna kneeled next to Saiyyam. “Saiyyam, how many times have I told you that you are not responsible for whatever Sambhav did. No child is
responsible for their parents mistake. Stop blaming yourself for everything.”, Krishna said trying to make him see reason when suddenly Saiyyam hugged her, hugged her tight. He had his arms around her waist almost crushing her while
he was crying on her shoulder. In the days they were with each other, they became each other’s support maybe not physically but emotionally. Even if Saiyyam never showed his feelings he always consoled Krishna even if he was rude while doing it. Unknowingly, they had fulfilled the vows taken during their marriage.
Krishna was consoling him, one hand caressing his hair while the other drawing circles on his back. She didn’t move. Saiyyam never let his guard down and him letting Krishna see his vulnerable side made Krishna feel very close to him. It
seemed like eternity and finally Saiyyam pulled away. He got up without making eye contact and Krishna knew that it was her cue to leave. She knew from the starting that Saiyyam will avoid her after showing his vulnerable side and that
she should leave him alone. As she turned to leave, something stopped her she turned to see Saiyyam holding her hand. “Were you not scared that I’ll harm you or worse rape you?”, asked Saiyyam startling Krishna. Krishna understood
that Saiyyam needed her assurance and she also made up her mind to confess to him. She felt it would be today or never. “Saiyyam I trust you more than myself. Saiyyam I trust you more than anyone else. Saiyyam I trust you because…
because… because I Love You. Yes Saiyyam I love You, I love you more than you can imagine”, Krishna said. At last she had confessed her felling she felt so relieved and happy. But the happiness faded when she looked at Saiyyam.
Confusion was written all over his face. She thought the confusion was because he didn’t like her. It broke her heart but she knew she couldn’t force Saiyyam. She thought it was right to leave the place. “Saiyyam its okay if you don’t love me
back. I Under…”,she said closing her eyes but she stopped as she was stunned to feel Someone kissing her. She opened her eyes to find Saiyyam kissing her. She was stunned. Saiyyam stopped and whispered against her lips,”I love you
too Krishna. I love you but don’t you ever think of leaving me again. And even if you think so I am not letting you go anywhere. You have to spend your life with this devil of yours”. “Yes I will, spend my life with my devil”, Krishna said.
Krishna was more than happy. Saiyyam again started kissing her slowly pouring all his love into the kiss.
They pulled away after some time. Saiyyam looked at Krishna with so much love and kissed her forehead. Krishna felt so much love in that kiss and knew it was better than thousand kisses on the lips. He pulled her into a tight hug and
she had never felt so safe. They secretly promised each other to take care of each other and never leave each others side no matter what happened,they promised to fulfill the vows taken during their marriage. But little did they know that
they had unknowingly fulfilled all the vows even before confessing their love.

This is my first ever os. I had always wanted to write about Kriyam and I had been trying for a long time and at last finished it. Many of you have inspired me, like Shreya(Fanficwriter), Fidato, Muniya, Zai, Agddiya, Shani and
Annie(AnahitaAnnie). I love all your writing and it inspired me to try my hand at it. I had heard the news that Baby will poison Krishna during Dadi’s birthday and Saiyyam will realize his love but nothing of that sort happened so thought of
including it in my os. And i just realized that Krishna was 7 years older than Saiyyam as Saiyyam was born when Krishna, Yuvaan and Yuvaani were 7. The more I think about it the more weirder it gets because after the leap it was
Saiyyam who used to act like the older one always dominating Krishna. Hope you guys enjoyed it and feel free to comment whatever you have in your mind.
