Kriyam: Kyun karte ho muhjse itna pyar (Chapter 36)

Krishna had run out of the room crying when she ran into suhani. She explained to Suhani that saiyyam remained unaffected by the marriage drama. Suhani looked worried. She informed Krishna that the priest had arrived to give dates for the marriage. Yuvani and Raj soon entered the scene. She questioned Suhani as to who called the pandit. Raj responded that he did. He continued that the more this drama escalated the sooner saiyyam would realize his feelings. The three women nodded in unison and headed off to meet with the priest.
Meanwhile back in saiyyam’s room. He was still disoriented..Suddenly he heard a voice..
Voice: Tu kitna bada dramebaaz ban gaya hai.. ( you’ve become such a drama queen)
Saiyyam looked over and was shocked to see himself….or rather his inner self..the person he kept hidden from the rest of the world…
Inner self: kya hogaya hai tujhe yaar. Tu wahi saiyyam hai ka jo apne maksad ko paane ke liye kisi bhi had ak jaa sakta hai..wahi jo apne mission pe itna focused reheta hai ki tere saath jo log hain unke baaremein soch ne ka tujhe fursat nahi hai…wahi he na tu jo ghalat ko sahi karne ke liye apni jee jaan laga deta hai… to phir ab kya hua saiyyam….ab tu emotions ko apne mission pe kyun haavi hone de raha hai…Krishna ke saath jo ghalat tune kiya usko sahi karne ke liye tu raj se uski shaadi kara raha hai na…to tujhe bura kyun lag raha hai..kyun tu khush nahi hai…kyun Krishna ke aankhon mein aansoon hai…Agar yeh shaadi karvana sahi faisla hai toh tum dono itne takleef main kyun ho…Krishna tumse pyar karti hai..tumse.. woh tumse shaadi karna chahti hai..toh phir usse apne aap se door karna aur kisi aur ke paas jaane dena sahi kaise ho sakta hai…Soch saiyyam soch…( what happened to you. Aren’t you the same saiyyam who would do anything to get what he wanted, the saiyyam who is so focused on his mission he doesn’t have the time to think about other people’s feelings, the saiyyam who would go to hell and back to right a wrong..so whats the matter now saiyyam,why are you letting emotions clud your judgement, aren’t you trying to right your wrongs by marrying off Krishna to raj…then why do you feel bad, why aren’t you happy, why are krishna’s eyes filed with tears, if this marriage is the right thing to do then why are you both in so much pain…Krishna loves you..you..She wants to marry you. Then how is pushing her away from you and letting her get close to someone else..the right thing to do..think saiyyam think..)
Saiyyam: JUST SHUT UP…AND LEAVE ME….mujhe kuch nahi sochna..(I don’t want to think)

Inner self: Sach kaha tune..tujhe kuch sochna hi nahi hai…kyunki tu bohot bada kayar hai..darpok hai tu…Rishte todhna bada aasan hota hai.par rishte nibhaana bohot mushkil…..tujhe apni feelings ka saamna nahi karna isliye tu social service ke naam pe Krishna ki shaadi karvaa raha hai…( You’re right. You don’t want to think about anything at all.because you’re a coward..coward you are saiyyam.. its easy to destroy relationships but extremely difficult to maintain them. You don’t want to face your feelings so in the name of social service you are marrying of Krishna..)
Saiyyam angrily approached the image of his inner self, but he had vanished…..and saiyyam was left with his voice still lingering in his head, the word coward kept replaying…His frustration and anger had reached its boiling point..He could no longer contain it and he began throwing things around in his room in anger..
Meanwhile back in the hall area the priest had declared that the marriage would happen after a week and they should start the functions as soon as possible..They were all in agreement that engagement ceremony will take place tomorrow and it will be followed by haldi and mehendi functions and then sangeet the following day and marriage the day after. Everyone was feeling a little melancholy about the marriage preperations but suhani had told them all to think of it as saiyyam and Krishna’s wedding and do their part wholeheartedly. Perhaps it was a maternal instinct but suhani was confident her son would be marrying Krishna even though no one had made any progress in making that a reality.
Raj had noticed that while all this was going on saiyyam was nowhere to be seen. He concluded that he must be sulking in his room and decided that this good news shall be delivered personally to him.

Raj went over to saiyyam’s room and seeing th state of it he immediately realized that saiyyam was on the verge of realizing his feelings. Perhaps seeing all the marriage functions in full swing will finally compel him to make a move.. He made his way over to saiyyam and tapped him on the shoulder..
Raj: Yaar saiyyam tere kamrein mein yeh hurricane dil dhukiya kaise aaya ( Saiyyam how come hurricane heartache has affected your room)
Saiyyam: (looking absolutely clueless) Hurricane dil dhukiya? (hurricane heartache?)
Raj: arey haan woh hota hain na jab insaan kisi cheez ko lekar itna pareshaan hai itna frustrated hai…uska dimaag gubaare ki tara phat jaata hai aur gusse mein cheezein idar udar pekhne lagta hai..( well yes, you know it happens when someone is too frustrated and irritated their mind blows up like a balloon and they start throwing things in anger)
Saiyyam: Aisa kuch nahi hai who main kuch doond raha tha… anyway tu yahan kaise.kuch kaam tha. (Its nothing like that I was just looking for something. Anyway why are you here..did you want something)
Raj: Main yahan tujhe khush khabri dene aaya ta..(I came here to give you good news)
Saiyyam gave him a serious stare.
Raj: Aise mat dekho yaar main maa bane wali nahi hoon….meri shaadi paki hogayo hai yaar..ek hafte baad Krishna meri ho jayegi. (don’t look at me like that, im not pregnant, my marriage is fixed..in one week Krishna will be my wife..)
Saiyyam’s face became pale….it felt like someone had just punched him in the gut…Without thinking..almost subconsciously saiyyam angrily blurted out
Saiyyam: PAR KRISHNA MERI HAI…( BUT KRISHNA IS MY WIFE)
