Kriyam ff- The one year marriage (Chapter 7)

Chapter 7

Sayyam sat on the sofa waiting for Krishna to come out. He couldn’t believe they had to go on a honeymoon! And to make things worse Yuvaan and Baby were also coming with them.

Krishna! Jaldi karo! He shouted impatiently.

Krishna came out the bedroom, dragging out all her luggage. Sayyam got up and walked up to her.

Are you mad?…hum sirf 1 week ke liye ja rahe hai, ek month ke liye nahi He said looking at all her luggage.

Sorry Sayyam, woh actually Yuvaani ne meri help ki thi packing main aur…

Sayyam put his hand up to stop her from talking. Muje tumhari excuses nahi sunni, mein itna samaan nahi carry karunga.

Krishna frowned looking at Sayyam. He is such a moody guy, I don’t know how I’ll survive a week all alone with him.

Meine tumhe nahi kaha mera samaan utha ne ke liye, I’ll do it myself! Krishna replied picking up her luggage and walking outside.

Good! Mere liye easy hogaya hai, saare raaste khudi uthana samaan! Sayyam called out after her.

Krishna struggled as she took her luggage to the car. Yuvaan who was waiting for Baby outside, saw this and ran to help her out. Krishna do mein rakh detha hoon gari main.

Krishna felt a little uneasy with Yuvaan talking to her. Um it’s ok Yuvaan, mein khudi kar loon gi.

Yuvaan forcibly took the bags from her. Nahi Krishna I’ll do it, it’s the least I can do.

Krishna was about to object, when she noticed Sayyam walking up to them.

Thank you Yuvaan, koi tho hai jo ek proper gentleman yaha pe! She grinned at Yuvaan.

Sayyam could see what she was doing. Silly girl, thinks this will effect me. He couldn’t help, but chuckle at the way she kept glancing at him, making it all too obvious.

Yuvaan, I’m ready! Baby came out and hugged Yuvaan, pushing Krishna to the side in the process.

Lekin Yuvaan hum ye ski trip pe kyu ja rahe hain, ek romantic jaga jate na jaise koi relaxing beach pe? Baby complained.

I know Baby lekin mein aur Sayyam bachpan main bohat skiing karte the, I think isliye maa ne skiing choose ki hai, it will be fun! He explained to her.

Tumhe yaad hai na Sayyam? Maza ayega na wapis jaa ke? Yuvaan asked excitedly.

Haan Yuvaan Sayyam smiled slightly remembering their time together as kids. Ab chalo hum late na hogaye flight ke liye. Sayyam and Yuvaan got into the car.

Krishna was about to get in too when Baby stopped her.

Arey Krishna humari tho baat hi nahi hui sahi tara se ab tak. Actually muje tumhe sorry kehna tha. Yuvaan ne tho tumhe chor ke muje choose kiya hai aur tum bechari uss outcast Sayyam ke saath pas gayi. She said as she stifled her laugh.

Krishna glared at her. Please Baby let me make it clear Yuvaan ne tumhe choose nahi kiya, woh majbori main tumhara saath pas gaya tha aur Sayyam ek outcast nahi hai, balke usne muje ek outcast ban ne se bachaya hai! Krishna replied back fuming with anger.

She got into the car before Baby could say anything. Baby was left surprised, she didn’t know Krishna had such guts in her. I know you still like Yuvaan and I will make sure you suffer seeing me and Yuvaan together! It’ll be fun at the honeymoon Baby thought smirking, also getting into the car.

They reached the airport and boarded their flight. Sayyam and Krishna sat next to each other waiting for the plane to take off.

Dekho muje iss puri flight main disturb mat karna, ok? Sayyam warned her.

Krishna was not listening, it was her first time on a plane and she was busy, nervously chanting something. Sayyam rolled his eyes at her and poked her forehead to get her attention.

Hello are you listening?! He called out.

Chup karo Sayyam please muje disturb na karo! She scolded him, returning to her prayers.

Sayyam felt offended by her behaviour, but decided to ignore it, seeing the state she was in. Krishna became increasingly fidgety as the flight started taking off. She squeezed her eyes shut and grabbed Sayyam’s hand, which was on the arm rest between them.

Krishna mere haath choro! Sayyam demanded, trying to pull it away.

He was getting very annoyed, but then saw how terrified she was. He calmed down placing his free hand over hers and leaned over to her.

Krishna open your eyes…daro mat mein tumhare saath hoon na, kuch nahi hoga He spoke softly trying to sooth her.

Krishna opened her eyes and looked at Sayyam, searching his eyes for reassurance. He nodded at her, giving a small smile. She smiled back, loosening her grip on his hand. Sayyam took the chance and pulled his hand away.

Finally! muje tho lag raha tha tum mera haath hi thor do gi! He scowled at her rubbing his hand.

Krishna was left speechless, the nerve of this guy! She thought to herself.

And don’t talk to me from now on, mein sone laga hoon Sayyam said slightly turning his back to her. Krishna stuck her tongue out at him.

Muje bhi koi interest nahi hai tumse baat karne ki! She replied turning the other way.

They ignored each other for the rest of the journey.

It was late night when they arrived at their cabin/chalet. It was a beautiful two bedroom wooden cabin with a small cosy living room and kitchen.

Wow, it’s gorgeous Yuvaan…chalo apne room dekh ke aate hai! Baby spoke excitedly dragging him away.

She smugly winked at Krishna before leaving. Sayyam saw this and glanced over at Krishna who seemed a bit uncomfortable.

Apna luggage apne room main rakhna hai ke nahi? Don’t expect me to do it, ok? Sayyam asked Krishna, breaking her away from her thoughts.

Ha..haan rakhna hai Krishna replied quietly picking up her luggage and walking to the bedroom.

What is wrong with her? Why does she let something so silly effect her?! He thought following her to their room.

Krishna was still lost in her thoughts as she sorted out her luggage and got changed, ready to sleep. Sayyam tried to ignore her, but the glum look on her face kept bothering him. This girl is driving me crazy! He couldn’t take it anymore and walked up to her, pulling her arm to make her face him.

Kya tumhari problem? Tumhe maa ne itni door aise mood banane ke liye nahi behja tha! Jaisi tumne ye shakal banayi hui hai na tum asli ki churel lag rahi ho.

It took Krishna some time to realise what Sayyam had just said to her. Did he just call me churel? She thought glaring at him.

Tumne muje churel kaha?! Krishna huffed getting angry.

Haan ek churel ko churel hi bulathe hai aur kya? He scoffed folding his arms.

Chup kar jao Sayyam varna…Krishna warned him.

Kyu churel ko gussa aa raha hai, muje maro gi? Sayyam provoked her even more.

Krishna didn’t know why this was making her so angry. She grabbed a pillow and started hitting him with it. Sayyam tried dodging her as Krishna continued to hit him. He finally grabbed her arms to stop her. She was out of breath, but her eyes didn’t have that sadness anymore.

Have you calmed down now? Do you feel better? Sayyam ask her looking into her eyes. Krishna could see the concern in his eyes. Did he do all this to make me feel better? But why? Krishna looked away slightly embarrassed.

Haan main theek hoon ab She replied pulling herself away.

Chalo phir ab nikalo iss room se Sayyam saw the confusion on her face and continued. Kyuke tumne notice nahi kiya hoga par there is just one bed here and no sofa. Tho tum bahir living room main so jao.

Krishna looked at the one bed, realising he was right.

Par Yuvaan aur Baby ko pata chal jayega humare bare main, muje iss room main sona pare ga na? She asked him.

Sayyam jumped on the bed, lying across it. Meine tho iss pe hi sona hai, tum phir floor pe so jana, ok? Sayyam smirked at her.

Krishna felt irritated again. This guy really has no manners, I’ll show him! She thought smiling to herself.

Nahi we will both sleep on the bed! Krishna spoke determined not to lose.

Sayyam quickly sat up, thinking if she was actually serious about it. Krishna could see the worry in his face and tried to hide her smile.

Kya hua? Mind change hogaya? Floor pe tumne sona hai kya ab? She asked mocking him.

Sayyam knew he couldn’t lose to her.

He grabbed Krishna’s hand and pulled her towards him, onto the bed. He smirked, seeing the surprised look on her face. He leaned close to her, looking into her eyes.

Of course not, meine tumhare saath bed pe hi sona hai He replied in a deep husky voice, hoping this act would scare her off.

Krishna could feel her heartbeat increasing, but pushed him away composing herself. She knew what he was doing and she was not going to give in so easily. They both looked at each other with determination in their eyes, as they lay down on the bed. Krishna was literally hanging off the bed, trying to keep as much distance from him as possible. Ugh why do I have to become so confident around him? Why can’t I control my stupid mouth?!

Sayyam was equally uncomfortable. He couldn’t believe what was happening. Why do I end up acting so stupid around her? I seriously need to control my emotions when I’m with her. They lay in silence, unable to move or speak. Krishna knew she had to do something to ease her mind, otherwise she wouldn’t be able to sleep. She took one of the pillows from the bed and placed it between them. Sayyam noticed this thinking how a mere pillow will help, but was still glad she at least put something between them. They were still fully aware of each other’s presence, but the journey had tired them out and sleep eventually caught up to them.
