Krishna was crying in her room.
Krishna, to herself:”how can he think that i will do that…. i was about to tell him that i love him and he…. he doesn’t trust me.”
Krishna cried bitterly.
Saiyyam stopped somewhere on the road and was very angry. But somewhere more than anger, there was pain. Pain of losing her, but he wasn’t accepting it.
Later in the night,
Kriyam’s house:
Saiyyam came in, he searched for Krishna around the house.
Saiyyam, thinks:”where did she go?”
He started to feel restless and called her but stopped midway. His ego didn’t let him call her.
Saiyyam:”did she feel so bad that she left the house? Couldn’t she tell me once before going out.”
He was very angry. And went on the terrace. He noticed Krishna there, sitting on the floor but her eyes were closed.
He could see the traces of tears on her cheek.
Saiyyam called her out:”Krishna…”
But neither did she answer nor open her eyes.
Saiyyam came near her and touched her shoulder to wake her up. But Krishna was still.
He bent down to her and touched her cheeks when he noticed that Krishna had high fever. He checked her forehead and hands.
He started to get worried.
Saiyyam, trying to wake her up:”Krishna… wake up
He picked her up and carried her to the bedroom.
Their room:
Saiyyam put her on the bed and again checked her. He started to rub her hands when he noticed that her hand was hurt and it was bleeding.
He called a doctor and told him to come immediately.
At the same time, the doorbell rang and Saiyyam went to open it.
It was Yuvani who was very happy and excited.
Yuvani:”where is Krishna?”
But seeing Saiyyam’s panicked face, her expression changed.
Yuvani:”Saiyyam, where is Krishna?”
Saiyyam pointed upstairs and Yuvani run up followed by Saiyyam.
Kriyam’s room:
Yuvani entered to find an unconscious Krishna.
Yuvani:”what happened to her? (On noticing her hand) and her hand….”
Saiyyam told her everything, about Rohan who was claiming Krishna to be his gf, when he saw them together in the garden early and his fight with Krishna.
Yuvani got very angry on him and slapped him.
Yuvani:”how could you do that? Don’t you trust her?”
Saiyyam:”she broke the trust. She had a boyfriend in spite of being married.
Yuvani:”are you mad? Out of all the girls, you doubted Krishna… that girl who supported you when nobody was there. How can you doubt her?”
Saiyyam:”that boy said….”
Yuvani,angrily:”shut up. How can you think this, Saiyyam?”
The doctor came there. Saiyyam brought him to Krishna.
He checked Krishna and her injury. Did she get hurt with any nail, it’s so swollen?”
Saiyyam remembered when he mistakenly hurt and looked at the place. And truly there was a nail there.
Saiyyam nodded yes.
The doctor examined her hand and suggest antibiotics for Krishna to prevent the virus to spread.
He noted down the medicines and handed it to Saiyyam.
Doctor:”i gave an injection which will prevent the bacteria to spread. She will wake up in some times and yeah… she might vomit due to the medicines.”
The doctor left from there. Saiyyam was about to sit near her but Yuvani stopped her.
Yuvani:”i have to talk to you.”
They both went out and went in the hall.
Yuvani:”yes, Saiyyam, you didn’t answer me. How can you not trust her?”
Saiyyam:”that boy said this and i saw them together today.”
Yuvani, angrily:”that boy is my boyfriend.”
Saiyyam was shocked.
Saiyyam:”what?”
Yuvani:”yes. Rohan is my boyfriend. That day, at the café, i took Krishna to meet him. And today also, i called him here. I was with Krishna when they met.”
Saiyyam couldn’t believe what he just heard.
Saiyyam, to himself:”how could i be so stupid? I just assume things and …. Krishna is in this state because of me. I hurt her….”
Yuvani:”yes, Krishna is in this state because of you. What was she thinking to tell you and what happened. She was about to tell you that she love….”
Saiyyam looked at her.
Saiyyam:”that she what….”
Yuvani:”that doesn’t matter. What matters is that you hurt a lot. What you did was wrong.”
Saiyyam:”i don’t know what happened, Yuvani. I just lost my mind. I couldn’t think anything else. I just assume that she……. i just didn’t want to lose her.”
Yuvani:”why? Why were you so afraid to lose her Saiyyam? Why can’t you afford to lose her? What’s Krishna for you? Why do you need her at every step in your life?”
Saiyyam, annoyed with so much question, angrily answered:”because i love her…..”
Yuvani smiled.
Saiyyam, realizing what he said:”i love her? I love her a lot. I can’t lose her, Yuvani. She became my life and partner with whom i can share everything. I just love her.”
He looked at Yuvani who had a bright smile on her face. He also smiled.
Yuvani:”i already knew it. Now plz, once she gets fine, you will tell her.”
He nodded yes.
Yuvani:”i am going to get the medicines, you stay with her.”
Saiyyam:”it’s ok, Yuvani. I will go.”
Yuvani:”ok”
Saiyyam went to buy the medicines while Yuvani stayed with Krishna.
Once Saiyyam was back, Yuvani went to Birla mansion.
Saiyyam looked at Krishna feeling guilty of what he told her. He held her hands and talked to her.
Saiyyam:”i am sorry, Krishna. I am really sorry. How could i not trust you?”
He was teary eyed.
Krishna moved a bit and slowly opened her eyes. She saw Saiyyam there and tried to wake up but Saiyyam didn’t let her.
She looked at her hands which was paining. She had a bandage on.
Krishna:”what happened to my hand?”
Saiyyam bent down feeling guilty and then told her. Krishna also remembered everything: what Saiyyam said.
She felt bad and again lay down.
Saiyyam:”Krishna…”
Krishna:”i want to sleep.”
Saiyyam:”plz, listen.”
Krishna:”no….” she closed her eyes.
Saiyyam:”Yuvani told me everything, i am sorry Krishna. Really sorry. Plz forgive me one last time.”
Krishna, angrily:”what sorry? Do you know how much you hurt me? You didn’t trust me but once someone else told you the same truth, then you believed them.”
Saiyyam:”but you could have told me that he was Yuvani’s bf.”
Krishna:”as if you let me speak. You were son angry that you didn’t listen to me. And now you are telling me that i should have told you.”
Saiyyam:”you should have told me the day you got to know about Yuvani.”
Krishna:”it was only 2 days ago.”
Saiyyam:”only 2 days… and for how long would you have hid it?”
Krishna:”Yuvani stopped me, otherwise i would have told you. You know that i don’t hide anything from you as i love you…..”
She stopped once she realized what she said.
Saiyyam:”what?”
Krishna avoided his gaze and walked to the window.
Saiyyam, smiled:”you don’t hide anything me as you….”
Krishna, still angrily:”because i love you. Do you get it? I love you. I don’t know why but i do.”
Saiyyam came close to her and pinned her to the wall.
Saiyyam:”you love me?”
Krishna nodded yes.
Saiyyam:”what if i say that i love you too?”
Krishna looked at him puzzled.
Saiyyam, lost in her:”you are the most beautiful girl i have ever seen. There are lots of girls but no one is like you, then why wouldn’t i fall in love with you? Your eyes say hundred of things to me, they are mirrors of your feelings. I just want to dive in them. Then why wouldn’t i fall in love with me? I don’t know why but this innocence of yours killed the devil in me. I married you to torture you but whenever i did so, i felt bad too. I didn’t want to do that. This feeling, i never felt that before. I am not used to share anything with anyone but i told you everything without hesitating. I don’t know why. I just know that i don’t want to lose you, i don’t want you to leave me ever. I love you Krishna.”
All this while, Krishna was looking at him lovingly and teary eyes.
Krishna:”we became each other support. Even i don’t want to lose you, Saiyyam. I can’t imagine my life without you anymore. Krishna’s name is forever with Saiyyam. We will always be together whatever happens. I love you too, Saiyyam.”
Saiyyam smiled happily and kissed her forehead. Then they both hugged.
Krishna felt pain in her hand and they parted away.
Saiyyam, looking at her hand:”i am sorry. Really sorry. All this happened because of my stupid misunderstanding.”
Krishna:”promise me, you won’t doubt on me anymore.”
Saiyyam:”promise.”
He made Krishna rest on his chest stroking her hair, until she felt asleep and he also felt asleep after sometimes.
