“Don’t worry Pragya. Prison is not new to me. Even last time I was sent in due to you only. Fine! But one day, Ayush will know everything. What will you tell him that time?”
He walked away leaving Pragya frightened.

“Pragya we will go home and talk things later” Arvind gently stroked her back. Ayush was holding onto Arvin’s pants tightly. The others had already left.

“Arvind” Pragya’s voice broke. She hugged him and started weeping… “We are lying to Ayush!” Pragya said unable to control her tears.

“We are not lying, Pragya. We are just hiding the truth. There is a difference” Arvind said hugging her even tighter.

“I am sorry” they heard a voice and it was of Abhi *he didn’t hear a thing as usual*.

“I came to take Ayush with me” Abhi said when Ayush ran to him and jumped over, clinging to his waist. Abhi took him in his arms.

“It’s ok, Abhi” Arvind said and started moving with Pragya.

At Arvin’s house,
Ayush was playing while Pragya was attending a call and Arvind was busy in his laptop.

“Listen Sherry, I cannot always bend to your terms. I agree I have a contract with you for a year. But that doesn’t mean I work under you” Pragya was losing patience with each slipping sentence.

“Sherry, she is a little busy now. I will call you in the evening” Arvind grabbed the phone, spoke and cut it.

“What are you doing, Arvind?” Pragya asked him but anybody would tell ‘she screamed’!

“I should ask that. What is the problem with you?” he continued… “I know you are worried. But there is no need for that. I will see that Ashok doesn’t come behind us again. I know he has a lot of influence. But still, I will see what I can do. There is no need to worry baby. Now smile!” Arvind said widening her lips with his fingers.

“OPPS… I am sorry. I am always in at the wrong time” Abhi said turning his back to them.

“It’s nothing like that Abhi. Come in guys” Arvind said and the group entered.

Pragya smiled and went in to bring some snack. The group sat and started chatting while Arvind and Pragya were busy playing with Ayush.

“We came to meet you, di” Purab complained.

“Ok, OK… Ayush go to Purab uncle. (She turned to Arvind) when did dad say that he will be returning?”
“Day after tomorrow baby” Arvind said.

“And what about bhai and ishu?”
“Come on yaar…they left only yesterday…will be back in a day or two” Arvind replied.

This side, Abhi was so badly, wanting to ask something but he kept on, hesitating.
Arvind who noticed asked… “You want to talk something Abhi?”
“Bhai…” Aaliya tried to stop Abhi, but the duffer didn’t seem to understand.

“What is Ayush’s surname, Arvind?” Abhi asked trying to be as casual as possible.
Pragya crossed her arms and started staring at him.
Abhi gave a helpless look. Arvind signalled Pragya to be quiet and stop staring Abhi, and ultimately Pragya followed him.

“You know why I call Ayush ‘triple A’ sometimes?” Arvind asked smiling.

Pragya sent Ayush upstairs knowing something is gonna happen now while Abhi shook his head negatively.

“He is A. Ayush Arora” Arvind said still smiling.
Abhi didn’t understand Arvind while Arvind understood him.

“He is Ayush Arvind for the world… but Arvind Ayush Arora for us” Arvind looked at Pragya who shook her head in a no.
“It’s not wrong to put it in the picture, Pragya” Arvind said giving her an assured smile.
“It’s not about that. I know you will be worried. Not only you, even me” Pragya said trying desperately, to stop him.
“No… You keep quiet” Pragya followed him with no choice.

“So, Abhi… you asked about Ayush’s surname. Don’t you want to know ours?”
Abhi shook his head slowly in no, with a confused, helpless frown.

“I am Arvind Abinetran and she is Pragya Arora” Arvind said with such a wide smile and leaped in front of Pragya and raised his brow in a question.
“Agreed” Pragya said… without facing him!
“Oh. (Abhi said and turned to other side. But only then he realised what Arvind said and turned with a shocked face.) Means, are you both not…” Abhi dragged

Arvind nodded his head negatively.
Abhi was so badly confused.

“Are you not Ayush’s father?” he asked straight *what more could he do?*
“I am not his father” Arvind again nodded in a no.
“He is his father” Pragya screamed from behind.

“What are you both bluffing?” Abhi said, unable make out even a single word*erkanave avan oru kuzhambi pona kutta! Idhula idhu veraya?*

“Ashok is his father” Pragya said helplessly and started weeping.
“Arey! Why are you crying now?” Arvind rushed to Pragya and wiped her tears… “Where is that Pragya who crossed every hurdle in the dream of achieving her goal? Where is that Pragya who fought for the life of her child? Where is that Pragya who was able to save herself when she was tried to be molested? Where is she?” Arvind tried to boost her up.

But he was thinking ‘I know you are not worried of the reason…u r only worried of the consequences. If Ayush comes to know the truth then he will not stay with us. That is what u think and that is what frightens you…but fear no Pragya…I will never let that happen’ he wipes her falling tear.

“She is still there… but somewhere hidden in a corner. When it comes to relationship, she always tends to break down” Pragya said still weeping.

Abhi was cursing himself for taking this topic.

“Di… it’s ok. Don’t cry” Purab was the one who was crying actually.

“Pragya, everybody is here. Do you think they will like a crying Pragya?” Arvind asked placing his hands on her shoulder.
“No. I am sorry” Pragya wiped her tears.

“If Ayush is Ashok’s son, how can he be your son Bhabhi? Does this mean… (In loss of words)” Aaliya said getting only a glare in return… from Abhi.
“Oops” Aaliya let out a small cry.

“Guys, stop making her cry. When I’m ready to tell you everything why are you bothering her?” Arvin’s anger reached its peak.

“Sorry Arvind. (Turning to others) Hey, why can’t you all shut up? (Now to Arvind) Arvind, it’s not necessary to tell your family matters” Bulbul tried to make others quiet. Also, as of now Pragya doesn’t consider them as family… Bulbul only felt it bad to listen to it all.

“Bulbul…” Arvind dragged. “You are Pragya’s family and you have all rights to know” Arvind started his story.

Not his story actually… the real incidents that occurred almost two years ago.
