Kkb (Love of Life) Episode 18

A girl is shown sleeping in her room, a lady wearing a green coloured saree with vermillion on her hair line, mangalsutra in her neck and her long hair left opened enters her room.

The lady – Get up beta, it’s already 10.
The girl – Mom, ten minutes only.

The lady pulls the curtain aside , the sun rays falls on the girls face. The girl gets up.

The girl – Mom…. Why do you always do like this.
The lady – Rhea this is the only way to awaken you… U always sleep late at night and then get up late. You know Prachi…… (She gets tears in her eyes)
Rhea notices it and rushes towards her and hugs her.
Rhea – Mom.. Stop crying.. I don’t like to see you like that.

She wipes her tears.

Pragya – Okay, now go have your bath and come down for breakfast everyone is waiting for u.
Rhea – But first mom I need my power booster.
Pragya kisses her on her cheeks.
Pragya – Now go and I have bath.
Rhea – Mom u know my daily schedule but still … I am going to meet Ranbir.

Saying this Rhea leaves from the room while Pragya gets emotional on remembering Prachi.

Pragya’s POV
One year ago, I lost my daughter but I feel that she is still alive and is somewhere ….. I lost my two daughter and I don’t want to loose you Rhea, I will fulfill your every wish and never do something which will hurt you. And Prachi… I miss you, why did you leave me, you said that Rhea will accept me ,she did it I wished that you were with me then you, Rhea , I and ur dad would live as a happy family. I miss you Prachi, pls come back.

Suddenly Abhi enters the room, Pragya wipes her tears while on other side Rhea reaches Ranbir’s room.

Simultaneous Scene
In Ranbir’s Room
Rhea reaches his room, the door was a little opened. Ranbir was sitting on the floor and was talking with the big portrait of Prachi’s which he had placed in his room.
Ranbir – Prachi…Its almost been 367 days 10 hours 30 minutes and 34 seconds, everyone says that you will never return but I know you will definitely return for ur mom, family and for me. You are the only person I love… I will die but never – ever marry any other girl, not even Rhea. From last 30 minutes I am only talking you also say something. Okay if u don’t want to say anything then it’s okay, but you tell me when are you coming back. I am waiting for you, I do not know where are you but I know you are alive so don’t play hide nd seek with me come back fast otherwise I will not talk to you. And this time I am saying truth. You always use say that if u miss me the count till 50 and you will find me standing in front of you so I’ll just count till 50 you come fast.
He closes his eyes and counts till 50 and opens his eyes but doesn’t find Prachi he falls on his knees and cries taking Prachi’s name.

Rhea’s eyes gets filled with tears seeing all this she runs from there to her room.

In Rhea’s Room
Abhi – Now you are hiding ur tears from me.
Pragya – These tears hv no effect on you so it’s better to hide them.
Abhi – Why are you saying like this Pragya?
Pragya – Well you need not to show ur fake concern towards me, stop acting, Rhea is not here. I am here just as her mother you lost me on the day when because of u I lost my daughter…
Abhi – Don’t forget that she was my daughter also, I also lost her.
Pragya – If u considered her as your daughter then why did you not think about her at least once, when you took decision of marrying Meera.
Abhi – Pragya….
He gets interrupted by Pragya in between.
Pragya – You don’t need to give me any kind of explanation… Now it is useless.

Saying this she leaves from there. Abhi gets tears in his eyes and leaves from there without noticing Rhea who was hiding behind the curtains, Rhea overheard there conversation , she rushes to terrace with tears scrolling from her eyes. She reaches the terrace and sits down in corner and cries bitterly.

Rhea – Why God… Why… I am having everything but everything is not with me. The day when Prachi left us that day I lost my mom, dad, Ranbir indeed my sister also. To say everyone is with me but no one is happy, they all are living a life full of compromise. I would hv lost mom that day if Meera aunty was not there…

In the Flashback
Pragya was leaving the Mehra Mansion. Pragya is stopped by Meera.

Meera – Pragya ji don’t leave Rhea alone, she needs you.
Pragya (crying) – Meera, Rhea never accepted me as her mom, she wants me to stay back ’cause she is feeling sympathetic and pity over me otherwise she wants you to become her mom.And everyone has some self – esteem so do I hv and I don’t want to stay at a house where people just feel pity or sympathetic towards me. Well, leave this all take good care of Rhea. Though she never accepted me as her mom but I hv accepted her as my daughter from the day she entered my life, take good care of her…
Meera – Pragya ji u are misunderstanding her.
Pragya – Misunderstanding?
Meera – Woh… In tomorrow’s wedding she wanted to get you and Mr. Mehra married, she never wanted me to become her mom… She was just angry so she did it.
Pragya – Who said this to you?
Meera (crying) – Rhea… Rhea herself told me these things and she wanted to give both of u surprise so she wanted me to keep it as a secret but when I saw that you were leaving so I had to break my promise.

Pragya eyes get filled with tears , she is left speechless. Rhea rushes towards her and hugs her tightly.

Rhea (crying) – I am sorry mom… I am sorry whatever I did was wrong, pls forgive me.. Don’t leave me otherwise I will die.. I love you mom.. I can’t live without you anymore.. Pls don’t leave me.
Pragya – Rhea… .. (She caresses her face and hugs her)
Rhea – Mom you are staying back?

Pragya looks at Abhi and then towards Rhea, Meera seizes her hand over Pragya’s shoulder and signs her to say yes.

Pragya – Yes, but only as your mother.(Rhea happily hugs her. )

The Flashback ends.
Rhea – I tried to unite mom and dad several times but failed, if Prachi would be there than this would never happen. She was my sister and indirectly I killed her with my own hands. I wish that she would be alive then we would live as a happy family. I would give her everything except Ranbir, I love him very much…. And she should understand that I love Ranbir and just leave him for me after all I was her sister….Ohh Rhea stop thinking about her, Prachi is not here so I should not think about her, right now I need to focus on Ranbir.

Rhea gets up and goes to her room and joins everyone at breakfast table.
