COMING TO THE STORY
God I always believed in u. I thought u reside in my instincts . TODAY, I never expected this today. I yet remember the day very well. Before 6 years… I was doing my college in IIT. While I was returning to my home, I saw my school friend fighting with his father. Then I went near to ask about the matter. His father was scolding him since he refused to join college. He was interested in something else.. he wanted to pursue that but his father was not in the position to hear him. I went to them. ”uncle please try to understand him. I know him very well. let him do what he wants.” HIS DAD: u joined in IIT. U will settle in ur life. Think about my son . I accept he is good in singing, but who will accept him. The world will not easily accept him as a singer. He is fooling himself. ” I joined architecture because my passion lies there. My happiness is there. But his satisfaction lies in his singing. do u want ur son to be satisfied in his life or just live for the sake of living.” HIS DAD: Yeah.. but what about the society. “just let him pusrue his passion, it will surely become his profession. I m sure that he will one day become a rockstar. HIM: dad…please accept..no.. HIS DAD : hmmn, ok… Then he turned and said thanks to me. We never spoke in school days but after this incident we became close friends.. I never knew why I supported him that day.. After nearly 2 months I started feeling very strange near him . I felt very happy. My eyes were searching for him always. I don’t know why. I did’nt know if I love him but I felt connected to him for centuries. I strongly believed in destiny. I did’nt want to confess my feelings to him. There is no reason for me to love him. I was not in the age to love and marry . I wanted to pursue my passion. My parents believed in me. I ll betray my mother if I choose someone to marry of my choice. My mother was betrayed by my father, so she does’nt want me to be fooled by anyone. I can’t blame her of this thought. Then one day something unusual happened.. He proposed me ..I did’nt know to say the truth or lie.. I told him all my strange feelings.. then.. ” I don’t know if this is infactuavation or love for us.. but I knew we had to pursue our carreer. I believe in fate and if we r truely related, then only u can be my husband. I m letting the time take the decision . It is better to part ways now for both of our goodness , for our parents and our carrer. After that we never met . I saw him in Tv as a rockstar., I was very happy.. I completed my degree in architecture. then in my busy schedule I forgot about him though I remembered that day very well in my heart. My mom chose the groom for my marriage. I accepted for her happiness, I did’nt even get his contact. I rejected him that day giving lectures. So I just thought that whatever happened will have a reason and left…I never saw the groom’s photo. I just married him with the trust in my mom’s decision and in the choice of my fate. ( the viels closing my face). I did’nt know if he has seen my photo..After that when I lifted my veil, after reaching my sasural,… tears continuously rolled down from my eyes..I saw a shocked even in my husband’s eyes ..We both were not able to speak because of the relatives. I was sent to his room. Here I m now standing in this balcony.. as Mrs. Pragya Abhishek Mehra speaking to u God. thanking u for making my instincts true… MY BELIEF BECAME TRUE TODAY. Though i did my promises in marraige whole heartedly, I can’t explain my emotions now.. I heared the door opening and turned to see my husband Mr. Abhishek Prem Mehra, rockstar, my school friend, calling pragya.. with the mix of emotions..
