Alia’s pov
“ No, no this can’t happen. But why did she even get this doubt? Whose samples are there other than Aryan’s? No, I have to get those reports. But the doctor will not give reports to me. What to do? What to do? got it. this will work.”
Pranbhir’s haldi
Shahana is tensed thinking about Aryan’s reports. Kiara comes there. Kiara calls Shahana but Shahana who is still thinking about Aryan’s reports doesn’t respond. Kiara jolts Shahana.
“ di, what happened?” asks Shahana.
“ what happened? seriously Shahana. I have been calling u since then, but u haven’t responded. What is wrong with u. ur mind wasn’t here. Is everything ok?” asks a concerned Kiara.
“ nothing like that . I am perfectly fine, di. Everyone would be waiting for haldi, let’s go.” Prevaricates Shahana.
Kiara understands that Shahana is hiding something.
“It’s haldi time.” Shouts Mishti.
“ arrey Ranbhir putthar why are us so sad?” asks Dida.
“why can’t we hold haldi together with the birde’s family? It would be more fun if we celebrate together.More people, more merrier. Isn’t it dida?” says Ranbhir.
“ we all know what u want, Ranbhir? U just want to celebrate ur haldi with Prachi. But , not happening. ” says Pallavi. Everyone laughs.
“ mom, since when did u become this smart?” asks Ranbhir to which he receives a pat on his cheek from Pallavi.
Everyone are still talking as there was till time to start haldi. Ranbhir messages something on the phone. He takes a small bowl and puts some haldi in it and tries to leave from there sneakingly. But he gets caught by Vikram.
“ where are u going, Ranbhir?” asks Vikram.
“ washroom, dad.” says Ranbhir.
“ But haldi is gonnna start soon.” Says Vikram.
“ it hasn’t started yet. Please dad, urgent.” Acts Ranbhir.
“ okay fine, go.” Says Vikram.
At girl’s place
“ what happened? why did u call me so suddenly? Is everything ok?” asks Sunny.
“ I don’t think Shahana is fine. I have been observing her for a couple of days. She is tensed about something. She didn’t tell me when I asked her. I didn’t want to disturb Aryan as he was also sad since couple of days. I thought she might tell u. so,…” before Kiara could complete Sunny talks.
“ I told her to leave him. See now. I am sure Aryan made her upset…” Before Sunny could finish Kiara speaks.
“ U don’t know Aryan. I know him. He will never hurt Shahana. He loves her. There is something else.” Says Kiara.
“ fine, I will ask her. But if Aryan is responsible for her sadness then I am not gonna leave him.” Saying this Sunny goes to Shahana
At upstairs
Prachi is searching for someone in every room and walking very fast. Suddenly someone pulls her inside.
“ searching for me? ” asks Ranbhir.
Prachi blushes on seeing him. He also gets mesmerized by her beauty.
“ do u really need haldi? Haldi is applied for the face glow but ur face is already glowing. If it glows more, I don’t think I will be able to handle it.” says Ranbhir.
“ shut up. So cheesy. And haldi is not only applied for the glow it is applied as it is a ritual before wedding. And tell me why did u call me here? Do u know I have to lie to maa to come here?” says Prachi.
“ because this is our last chance.” Says Ranbhir.
“ last chance of what?” asks Prachi.
“ last chance of meeting secretely. After wedding we will be legally husband and wife, so we don’t have to meet like this and I would be happy for that but this is also fun and romantic. U don’t have a sense of romance at all.” Complains Ranbhir
“ oh really, then why don’t u marry someone who have sense of romance like u?” saying this Prachi was about to leave but she was pulled back.
“ I didn’t call u to make u upset. I called to complete a ritual.” Saying this Ranbhir shows the haldi.
“ But this is….” Before Prachi could complete Ranbhir talks.
“ I know. I know.” Saying this he applies the haldi to his cheeks and gently rubs his cheeks against hers.
Prachi blushes and smiles. She does the same on the other cheek of Ranbhir. They attach their foreheads together and smiles. Suddenly Pallavi comes there calling out Ranbhir. Pranbhir move away from each other.
“ see u at the wedding altar.” Saying this he kisses on her forehead and runs from there.
Ranbhir runs towards Pallavi and leaves with her from there so that Prachi can also leave from there.
Ranbhir comes and sits for his haldhi. Dida picks haldi and when she was about to apply she notices haldi is already applies on Ranbhir’s cheeks.
“ Pallavi, how dare u do this? U said I can apply haldi on Ranbhir first, but why did u apply?” shouts dida.
“ what? When did I ? Ranbhir what is this? Who applies haldi to u?” asks Pallavi.
“ don’t act smart infornt of me. I know u only did” says dida. They start fighting funnily.
Ranbhir and Vikram tries to stop them but they were unable to.
“ This is all because of u.” whispers Vikram in Ranbhir’s ears.
“ what?” exclaims Ranbhir.
“ yes, if u wouldn’t have celebrated ur secret haldi ceremony with Prachi then this wouldn’t have happened.” says Vikram.
“ ha, what? Secret someone ? sorry ceremony? ”stutters Ranbhir but he undesrstands that Vikram knows and he finally gives in.
“ how did u know?” asks Ranbhir.
“ I am your father. I knew when u said u wanted to go to washroom. And saw the haldi in ur hands. So, as u r responsible for this , go and stop them.” Saying this Vikram pushes Ranbhir forward.
“ fine.” Saying this Ranbhir goes to his mom and dida and convinces them to just forgive each other and the ceremony continues.
At Bride’s side
“ what?nothing like that, bhai. Who said u that? I am not tensed of anything. I am perfectly alright.” Stutters Shahana.
“ listen, it doesn’t matter who said that. but they are right. It’s clearly seen on your face. What happend? Did Aryan say u anything? Tell me….” Before Sunny could complete Shahana interrupts.
“ Bhai, don’t say that. Aryan loves me a lot. He will never upset me. I am just stressed with all these wedding festivities. That’s it.” says Shahana.
Before Sunny could question her anymore, Prachi calls them to apply haldi on her.
In the evening
Shahana is getting ready. Aryan comes out of shower.
“ Shahana, u are getting ready? So soon?” asks Aryan.
“ yes there will be much work. So, I have to go.” Saying this she was about to leave but Aryan pulls her back.
“ what is it with u? Nowadays, u are leaving early and coming back late. U aren’t taking care of me. I am sad.” Says Sunny with a pout.
“ oh, my hubby is sad? Hmm.. what can I do to cheer him up? ” she acts as if she was thinking and kisses on his cheek and runs away.
“ hey, I am still sad. I want on another cheek too.” Says Aryan.
“ Probably to night.” Saying this Shahana winks at him and leaves from there.
Aryan laughs.
Shahana’s pov
“ I am sorry, Aryan. I lied to u. but I will tell u the truth very soon.”
Shahana leaves from the house to the hospital. She collects the reports from the doctor.
“ I hope u will get answers for all your questions.” Saying this doctor handovers the report to her. She comes and checks the report and gets shocked.
Shahana’s pov
“ This means my guess was right. Aryan isn’t Alia’s son. He is pappa’s and Disha maasi’s son.”
Shahana remembers how Alia has never cared for Aryan. She decides to reveal the truth to everyone. But as soon as she comes out of the hospital, someone hits on her head. She faints. Shahana opens her eyes after some time. She is tied by ropes. She is in some unknown dark place, something like garage. There was light only about few cm radius around her. Her vision was blur. She tries to free herself.
“ No use of trying, u can’t escape.” A familiar voice comes from front. As the figure approaches she realizes that she is none other than Alia. Shahana feels a chill down her spine on seeing the dna results in Alia’s hands. Alia comes near her with an evil look and holds Shahana’s face with her long nails.
“ what did u think? that I will allow u to expose the truth that I have been hiding from 23 years?” asks Alia and leaves Shahana’s face with a jerk.
“ So, u accept the truth. U accept the truth that u aren’t Aryan’s mother?” asks Shahana.
“ yes, that’s the truth. U are really a smart girl. U brought out the truth that nobody could. Great.” Says Alia.
“ How could u lie to Aryan who loves u immensely?” asks Shahana.
“ he was foolish enough to fall for my fake love. U know why? Because he is Disha’s child. That middle class girl was an emotional fool. That’s the reason she easily believed that Purab has betrayed her.” Says Alia.
“ That means it was u?” asks Shahana.
“ yes, do u really think Purab will be with any other women when he loves Disha. But I am not someone who accepts defeat. After all I loved him since my childhood. I wanted him at any cost. At first, that Pragya’s sister , Bulbul came in between me and Purab. So I attacked her in which she lost her beauty and then she committed suicide unable to face it. I thought after losing her, he will become mine. But then Disha came. I tried to kill her too. But Purab was aware of my antics everytime. So , I couldn’t kill her. After seven years, I was successful in my plan. Do u know how? Obviously , u know what everyone knows. U won’t be knowing what exactly happened in that room, right? Well, that day I deliberately got tap repaired in my bathroom so that I could take shower in Purab’s washroom. I knew Disha was coming to the hotel to surprise her. As soon as I saw Disha coming, I went into Purab’s room to take bath. While coming I acted to slip and fell on him and we both rolled and I made sure he was on me so that he won’t be able to see Disha coming. As soon as that happened , Disha came in. She saw us both together and misunderstood and u know what happened later.” Saying this Alia laughs evilly.
“ u are a disgusting woman.” Shouts Shahana.
“ no, I am someone who gets what I want.” Replies Alia.
“ What about Aryan? How did u get him?” asks Shahana.
Alia reveals how Purab made her pregnant thinking she was Disha and how her baby died. She reveals how she replaced her baby with Disha’s and asked doctor to lie to Disha that her baby died. Shahana gets shocked seeing how evil Alia is.
“ I have never seen anyone evil like u.” says Shahana.
“ do u really think I care about anything u say?” asks Alia.
“ a woman like u cares for nothing, not about family, not about friends, not about relationships, not about lives, nothing. But I do. I love Aryan. And I promised him , I will always do right by him. I will reveal entire truth to him. I will expose u.” shouts Shahana.
“ Oh.. how lovely. But u should leave alive if u have to do that?” says Alia.
“ what? No.No.” says Shahana.
“ yes. How can u even think that I will leave u alive when I know that u know all my secrets? No one has ever lived knowing all my secrets.” Says Alia.
“ If Aryan gets to know I am dead….” Before Shahana could complete Alia speaks.
“ There is nothing he can do. I have managed him with my fake love till today. I can do that now and forever too. I will make sure he will not know about ur killer. And slowly he will forget u and I will get him married to a rich girl who can give me power and property.” Says Alia.
“ so, that’s the reason u wanted Aryan to marry Mishti.” Says Shahana.
“ s, I thought I will get money and power after he marries Mishti but u came in between. U see Shahana, I am someone who tired to kill my brother many times just to get his property. So, I can kill anyone including Aryan, if I benefit from that. Well, he is not my son. It is an amazing feeling to see ur enemy’s loved ones to die. Well, I can’t kill Sunny because he’s a way too smart than Aryan but I can kill Aryan. Anyways I have to attend Ranbhir’s wedding. So let’s end this. Goodbye, Shahana.” saying this Alia brings a knife towards Shahana to stab her. Shahana closes her eyes. Someone holds Alia’s hand.
