Chapter 24
Hey my lovely readers ??? how are you guys? I know I’m late again so, sorry to keep you waiting ???. I know you didn’t like my last crappy chappy and after reading this you’ll just want to kill me. So please throw whatever you want at me except sharp objects ???????????? and bombs. And yeah this is the last chapter before the ending.

Ok now enough chit chat. Let’s go to the story.

Dr. Malhothra asked “Mr. Kapoor why did you said Kabir agreed to this marriage when he loves Sanchi? She may be a middle class girl but woh ek achchi ladki hai. She’s a perfect match for Kabir”
Mr. Kapoor got annoyed at this but he didn’t show it. With a fake smile he said “I’m sorry about it Dr. Malhothra, it’s my fault. Can I talk to Riya for a second?”
“Sure. Go ahead”
Mr. Kapoor went to Riya’s room. She was crying badly. He patted her head. “Beta, I’m sorry for the way he behaved. I know you love him. I’ll help you” he said with a smile. Riya stopped crying and looked at him.
**Sanchi Mishra! I won’t let you trap my son!** he thought in his mind.
Today we start from there.

Couple of days have passed like this. Sanchi and Kabir’s love flows without any trouble. Jaya and Kusum talked with each other and they don’t have any problem with them. Riya was burning whenever she saw Kabir with Sanchi.
“Sanchi! Sanchi! Sanchi! Why is it always Sanchi? Why can’t Kabir see anyone except her?” Riya was talking to herself.
“Because he loves her” Veer came out of nowhere and said.
“I don’t want to hear your lectures” Riya turned to go.
Veer started to speak. “You don’t have to listen to me but think it yourself. Do you want to spend your whole life with a man who would never love you?” That made her stop. “Do you want to spend you life with a man who thinks about another woman when he’s with you? True you would love him but can you tolerate it your whole life that the man you love never will be yours completely because his heart, mind, soul and everything belongs to another woman?”
She knew what he’s saying is true but wasn’t ready to accept it. She was walking by Kabir’s cabin and saw the door was slightly open. She peaked inside and saw Kabir and Sanchi in each other’s arms.
……….inside the cabin……….
“Be careful sweetheart, I don’t know why but I have a very bad feeling since morning. So please be careful” Kabir told Sanchi.
“Ok baba, ??? don’t worry, I’ll be careful. Ok? Now smile. Hey c’mon smile!!!” Sanchi tried to pull his cheeks. That made him laugh. “You know, you look so handsome with a smile ???” she said with so much love in her eyes.
“Really? Then you’ll have to be very careful. Girls will come after me more” said Kabir thoughtfully.
Sanchi frowned ???. “Who told you to smile with them, huh? You should only smile with me” she said childishly.
She looked so cute that Kabir couldn’t stop himself from leaning in and kissing her pouty lips. The kiss started to get passionate so Sanchi broke it. “I have work you know! I’ll come after my work is finished” she said breathlessly.
“So we can continue from where we left?” Kabir asked teasingly.
“Tum na……” She went out of his cabin laughing ???.
Outside Riya witnessed this whole exchange. It hurt so much to see them together. **no Sanchi, after everything I did, now I can’t give up. Kabir should be MINE!!!**
She followed Sanchi outside the hospital. She saw her talking to Isha across the road. Riya went to her when Isha went away. She grabbed Sanchi by her hand roughly.
“Riya! What are you doing?” -Sanchi
“You! Stay away from MY Kabir!” -Riya
“What?” -Sanchi
Riya started to speak again. “You heard me. Stay away from him. I can’t believe it. Why does he loves you? Why not me?” Sanchi was getting angry at her words. “He rejected ME, because of YOU! What did he saw in you that I don’t have? Why? Why? Why???” Riya was screaming at her crazily. Sanchi understood that she’s depressed. So she tried to calm Riya.
“Riya, listen to me ok!” -Sanchi
“No! I don’t want to listen to you or anyone else. Stay away from Kabir!” She said angrily and turned to go back to the hospital. She didn’t saw a car speeding towards her. Sanchi screamed. “Riya! Move away!” But Riya didn’t listen to her. Suddenly she saw the car but she couldn’t move away due to the shock.
Sanchi didn’t have any other choice but to run to her. She pushed Riya hard. Riya fell down to the sidewalk safely. But Sanchi was in the middle of the road.
Meanwhile Kabir was coming out of the hospital. His bad feeling got worse, so he came to find Sanchi.
Luckily the car applied break on time before it hit her. But another truck came out of nowhere and hit her very bad right before Kabir’s eyes. He screamed “SANCHI!!!” He ran to her. There she was lying in a pool of blood.
Kabir knelt beside her and held her head with both of his hands. She was loosing consciousness. “Sanchi! Please keep your eyes open ok?” He lifted her in his arms and carried her to the hospital. Everyone in the hospital was petrified to see Sanchi in Kabir’s arms, bathed in blood.
She was trying her best to keep her eyes open but it’s hard. “I love you Kabir!” She mumbled softly and lost consciousness.
“No no no no no! Sanchi, don’t close your eyes! Please sweetheart!!!” He was begging her not to close her eyes. His voice was quivering. His hands are trembling. He took her to the operation theater but he couldn’t treat her. Dr. Awasthi was treating her.
Kabir was totally shattered after seeing her in that condition. Dev and Veer came running towards him.
“Bhai, kya hua?” asked Veer.
“Truck” & “accident” were the only words Kabir could utter.
“Don’t worry Kabir! Bhabi ko kuch nahi hone dunga. I promise you!” Dev promised him and went in to the operation theater with Veer.
Isha and Pragya came there too. They heard Kabir, Veer & Dev’s talk. They started to cry. Dr. Malhothra informed about the accident to Sanchi’s mom, Jaya.
Jaya and Kusum both came there.
“Meri bachchi ko kya hua?” asked Jaya.
Isha, Pragya and Dr. Malhothra tried to calm her while Kusum went to Kabir. He was staring at the OT’s door like a statue. Kusum placed her hand on his shoulder. He looked at her. His eyes were glistening with unshed tears. He hugged her tight.
“Maa Sanchi…” Kusum patted his back. “I know beta, don’t worry she’ll be alright” said Kusum trying to console him.
Dr. Awasthi came out of the OT, Kabir hurried to him. “Sir, Sanchi! Sanchi kaise hai? Meri Sanchi kaise hai?” He asked frantically.
“Look Kabir, we’re trying our best. But her condition is very critical. You’re a doctor so you should understand. The impact she got on her head is very dangerous and she lost too much blood. We can’t tell anything yet” after telling about Sanchi’s condition, Dr. Awasthi went inside the OT again.
Kabir’s whole world started to spin. He was loosing his balance and fell in to his knees in front of the OT’s door. Tears were rolling down his cheeks. “This can’t be happening! No no nothing will happen to my Sanchi” he was mumbling crazily.
Dr. Malhothra came to him. “Kabir, beta pull yourself together! Nothing would happen to her. You know Sanchi is very strong, she’s a fighter. Don’t loose your hopes!”
On the other hand Riya was sitting on a chair near the OT. She was so pale as if she’ll drop dead any moment. She was trembling and crying badly mumbling, “it was my fault. I should be that”.
Garv saw her and talked to her. “Riya? Are you ok?”
She looked up and saw him standing before her with a concerned look. She grabbed his hands. “Garv! Garv look! I should be there” she said.
“Riya? What are you talking about?” He asked.
“That accident! Sanchi saved me. It should’ve been me. But she saved my life. After all I did to her, after I told her to leave him, she still saved me. ME!! She saved ME! It should’ve been me instead of her” Riya kept repeating same thing.
Garv hugged her lightly. “Pull yourself together Riya. It wasn’t your fault!”
“No! It was my fault. You don’t understand. Look at him! He’s totally shattered. His love is fighting death, because of me. I’m the reason for his condition. Why couldn’t I understand this earlier?I need to call mom. Where’s my phone?” She found her phone and called Gayatri.
“Mom? Mom listen! Tell Kabir’s dad I refused the proposal!” -Riya
“Riya? Do you have any idea what you’re saying?” -Gayatri
“Yeah mom, I know. How could I marry someone who loves another more than anything in this world? So please tell that to uncle” Riya disconnected the line and looked at Kabir again.
“Never thought I’ll see him like this one day, Garv. **What Kind Of Love Is This?**” she said looking at Kabir again.
Within a half an hour, Mr. Kapoor made his appearance in SDCH. Gayatri informed him about Riya’s decision and he was angry that after all he did why Riya refused for the marriage. When he entered the hospital, he saw everyone was praying to god. He went to the reception and asked “can I meet Dr. Riya?”
“Yes sir. She’s near the operation theater 1” replied a lady.
“Why is everyone praying here?” He asked again while looking around.
“Our hospital’s best intern, Dr. Sanchi Mishra met with an accident today. She’s quite critical. We’re all praying for her to get better. Not only she’s a good doctor but also she’s such a nice human being. Never met someone like her” replied the lady and went to pray.
“People love this girl that much? Did I do the right thing?” Mr. Kapoor wondered.
He came to where Riya was and found many were crying. When he was about to go to her, his eyes landed on Kabir, who was now sitting on the floor crying silently. It pained him to see his son like that no matter what he did. Suddenly the door of the operation theater opened and Dr. Awasthi, Dev and Veer, all came out. Kabir jumped to his feet and asked “how is she? How’s my Sanchi?” No one said anything. “Why aren’t you saying anything? Tell me how she is!” He asked them.
“Kabir, pull yourself together bhai! Please!” Pleaded Dev.
“Then tell me how she is!” Kabir shouted.
“I’m sorry Kabir, but we couldn’t save her. Dr. Sanchi Mishra is no more!” said Dr. Awasthi.
Jaya, Isha, Pragya, Dr. Malhothra, Kusum, Garv & Riya, all were shocked and couldn’t speak. All were crying for Sanchi.
Kabir felt like his whole world shattering. Like he was dying. “No! No no no this can not be happening! No! She won’t leave me like this! She can’t do that!” He was mumbling in shock. He couldn’t believe what he just heard. Veer and Dev hugged him tight. But he pushed them away.
“You’re lying!! All of you’re lying to me! My Sanchi won’t leave me like that! She won’t! She can’t do that!” He screamed at them. Everyone had the same thought in their minds. **What if he do something to himself?**
Mr. Kapoor who was looking at this from distance finally thought **What I did was wrong. I shouldn’t have done that! But what can I do now? It’s too late, she’s gone!”

That’s all for today!! Ok ok please guys ??? don’t give me that look! I’m getting scared. So today Sanchi died. Riya understood how wrong she was and Kabir’s on the verge of turning mad! I know all of you just want to kill ME for killing Sanchi but please, it’s for the story’s sake.
So as I said earlier, the next chapter will be the last one. Which means “the end” so I’ll see you guys with that. Until then take care and love you all ???
