Khwaab… (One Shot on RiAnsh)

Khwab vo dekho, jo poore kar sako…
Ye sunne mein bura to lagta hai, par sirf jab tak manzil tak pahunch na jao…
Uske baad, sirf ek mazaak ban kar reh jata hai, jise yaad krke hasi aati hai.

(Ok. This is my betuki bakwaas. Don’t mind it, please.)

Mai vekhiya si khaab ek,
Vichchon main ohda hath fadeya,

Mai kehya si ‘mai karda haan tohnu pyaar’,
Par oh ikraar khaab hi reh gya. 🙂💔

(I saw a dream, in which I held her hand and said ‘I love you’. But that confession remained therein, just in my dreams…)

This is to convey Vansh’s feelings, after Riddhima’s so-called betrayal
(he came to know Riddhima is innocent after spying at her as Vihaan)

“I always thought Riddhima, that if you wouldn’t have betrayed me, things would have been quite different.

But I was wrong. You didn’t betray me. My own heart did. It rebelled against my mind. Breaking all the barriers of suspicion, hatred and vengeance, it fell for you. And the impact was so hard…that it is difficult for me to get up now.

Par agar tum sahara de do…”, he looked at her, with hope in his eyes.

“Why?”, her eyes held mixed emotions.

“I am sorry Riddhima, for all what I did. But I won’t force you. If you want,you may go… You are free…”, he shifted his gaze at the night sky.

The innumerous twinkling stars on the black canvas seemed to fade away.

His vision blurred, clouded by the tears he had been holding.

She was the one who brought light into his dark life, love into his world of hatred.

But now that she was leaving him, he felt his heart sinking.

He should’ve never doubted her. He wanted her to stay, but didn’t have the guts to ask her to, not after what he had done. Faking his own death and spying on his wife…

“Kuch kehna to nhi hai tumhe, mere jaane se pehle?”

“I…I love you, Riddhima…”, he spoke, without looking at her.

His voice was broken, and so was he.

“Huh! Mr. Vansh Raisinghania, zyada filmy nhi hai? Par hoga kyu nhi, actor bhi to hum uchch koti ke ho. Apni maut ka naatak karna, phir Vihaan banke aana, kitne neatly execute kara na tumne? Ek baar bhi meri feelings ke bare mein socha kya, jo main ab tumhare feelings ke baare mein sochun?”

“I know a moron like me doesn’t deserve a gem like you. But only if you give me one last chance…I promise I won’t let you down this time.”

“Well, I won’t deny the fact that you are stupid…”, she looked at him teary-eyed and they both chuckled.

She rested her head on his shoulder, and they watched the night sky, hand in hand.
