Avi tells Cherry not to ask Ana anything, she will tell them whenever she will have to. Harry leaves and Ana returns towards the gym.
Rohit and Poonam come out of Principal’s office. Rohit complains that Poonam didn’t care, Nickie hadn’t attended the college in last two months. Poonam says she always told her she was going to college. Rohit says Poonam stays at home. Poonam says Nickie is over 18, she can’t micro-check them. Rohit meets a friend. On their way to the car, Poonam tells Rohit that kids are responsibility of them both, when did he last talked to Nickie. Rohit says he doesn’t live in the house. Poonam says when they lived together, he knew everything about kids. He must stay in touch now as well and know what is going on in their lives. Rohit was angry and tells
The girls ask Ana what’s wrong, its game over game. Ananya says when Poonam is making an effort, why she shouldn’t. Avi taunts that it’s alright, if she can’t beat them then join the team. Ananya leaves.
At home, Rohit and Poonam greet Rohit’s aunt who had come from Toronto. Aunt goes to rest. Rohit inquires Nickie what’s wrong. Maa says Nickie promised her that she will go to college from tomorrow. Maa defends that she can go to any other college then. Rohit asks what it means that she will go to another college, it was humiliating for him in the college today. Nickie sobs that she doesn’t want to talk about it. Rohit was strict and asks if Nickie has no shame about being rusticated. Nickie leaves crying. Maa convinces Rohit to speak nicely, he can stay here and sort it out in a few days. Rohit argues that his wife returned after three months. Maa tells him to sort his priorities, Nickie is also his daughter. Poonam tells Maa to let him handle this. There was a door bell. Poonam says she invited Ananya, and she must be here. They need to talk to Nickie and must know the reason she isn’t going. Ananya comes to greet Maa but she doesn’t allow Ananya touch her feet. Poonam takes Ananya outside.
In the room, Rohit asks Nickie what’s happening. Nickie cries that there is nothing. Maa thinks she is having drugs, Dadi feels she is mental because of their divorce, and Sheena believes she is having an affair. But none of them understands her. They all feel she is a criminal. Rohit now calms Nickie down and hugs her. He says she is his baby, he only wants her help.
Ananya and Poonam sat in the garden and were served tea. Ananya checks her phone as they looked awkward. Ananya tries to speak to Poonam about an actor’s weight loss. Ananya says she follows her on Instagram, she does Pilates.
Rohit says they will have to know what Nickie does when she bunks her college. Nickie didn’t want to talk about it.
Poonam asks if Pilate is easy. Ananya says it’s not easy to manage, she does yoga. Poonam says she is thinking to lose now, it’s difficult to maintain weight after an age. Poonam offers Ananya a drink. She tells Ananya Rohit will scold her for an hour at least, and it will be hard to pass time like this. She asks whisky? Ananya says red wine would do. They go to bar. The ladies enjoy as Poonam fills Ananya’s glass for third time. Ananya agrees she was right, its one and a half hour already. Poonam says Rohit must have been a lecturer, hadn’t he started a company. Ananya laughs. Poonam says she is too concerned for Nickie, it seems she doesn’t know her anymore. Ananya says Nickie is a nice girl, she shouldn’t blame herself. Poonam wish Rohit can find out what’s happening. Ananya says she is surprised that she had just impulsively invited Ananya. Ananya asks if she should go. Both laugh, then confess its good they are together. Ananya decides it’s their last drink and cheers again. Ananya speaks to Poonam that since they are three drinks down, she wants to discuss something. Ananya says she had a problem of Rohit talking to her. But in these three months, she realized that she is a family of this all, their family and this whole situation. She will be proactive, though it’s hard to deal with their daughters. Poonam says Nickie is easy, but Bani is tough. Bani took everything very seriously.
They hear Rohit shouting at Nickie. Poonam says if she tries to intervene, Rohit will shout at her and defend Nickie.
Ananya says she knows whom he is after. Poonam says Maa isn’t bad at heart. She just need some time. Poonam pours another half glass of drink. They reach the pool side. Ananya gets a message, she shares with Poonam that her friends want to know what’s going on. Poonam says she must tell them she is discussing with her husband’s ex-wife about their kids. Poonam says right, soon there will be a serial about them. Rohit comes to balcony and finds them. Poonam tells Ananya she admires her, she left and has come back on her terms. She told Rohit as well that she admires her. Ananya apologizes Poonam for causing a lot of pain. Poonam says there was problem in their marriage already, she was only a catalyst. Ananya offers any help in any regard, even Nickie. Poonam wish Nickie’s problem is resolved. Poonam says she is sorry about her pregnancy. Ananya smiles bitterly. There was a silent awkwardness again.
Rohit had walked out. He calls Ana inside.
At night, Rohit tells Poonam Nickie isn’t talking, she isn’t listening. She believes they all consider her a criminal. There, Ananya invites Nickie to come to her dad’s house for a few days. Rohit was angry and leaves. Ananya was upset why Rohit told Poonam about her pregnancy.
