KBC 14: Amitabh Bachchan reveals he accidentally hurt Vinod Khanna during the filming of Muqaddar Ka Sikander; says he got 16 stitches on his chin
The latest episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati witnessed rollover contestant Suraj Das sitting on the hot seat with the host Amitabh Bachchan. After introducing Suraj once again, Big B resumes the game and asks him question for Rs 5000.
During the game Suraj was asked a question related to the popular movie Mukkadar Ka Sikander. After answering the question Suraj says that the movie is his favorite film of Amitabh Bachchan. He further adds “had watched it before so was a little confused with the answer”, and Big B says “itni favourite movie hain toh confusion kya hain kuch nahi hain bilkul sahi jawab diya hain.”
Suraj adds, “I had read it somewhere that during the shooting of the film co-actor Vinod Khanna ji is there and you throw a glass on him and it hits on his chin and he gets 16 stitches is that right?”
Amitabh Bachchan says “Yes that’s correct and I am very sorry about it. We are drinking something at the bar and I get to know that my lover is loving someone else by getting angry I throw the glass on his chin. Bhaisaab when you have seen so much why are you asking me so much? Therefore I had to throw it down but it hits Vinod Kumar’s chin and it hurt us. He was our very close friend and we took him to the hospital and the doctor gave him stitches and then I took him to his house his wife was there and also apologized to her for the accident and left the house.”
Suraj further asked Big B about the title track Muqaddar Ka Sikandar. “Sir when you would do a rehearsal for the bike shooting and you would ride from Juhu to Bandra and many female fans would run behind you”.
Amitabh Bachchan replies to Suraj and says, “Who told you about this?” Suraj says that it was written on a google page.
Big B further says “So you read it on the google page and if you have read it somewhere then I don’t know about it because I never turned back and saw any woman running behind us. Ye kursi ko aap fatfatiya samajhtey hain. Ye sabh aise hi baatey hain janm janmatar hi sahi mani jati hain. Hum nah rehearsal kiye ya kuch kiye humein bitha diya fatfatiye pe and bola jao aur gaana chala diya aur gaatey gaye aur kya.”
