Kavita greets the guests as they wish her birthday. She orders the house help to finish the work. She asks Kavita not to worry, Reet would be angry at her. The house help has prepared all the dishes she ordered. Reet questions Kavita for having such an extensive menu. Kavita set it out for the kids, especially Arav. As he is not restricted anymore, she wants him to enjoy everything though Kavita doesn’t know about his likes and dislikes. Kavita gets busy with another guest. Reet is angry at Kavita for celebrating her birthday more than welcoming Arav. Her husband tries to calm her down, she must not worry. Arav is just a kid. Reet doesn’t want to entertain Arav and make him part of this house. He asks Reet not to get stressed, treat Arav and Katha like guests only.
Arav loudly welcomes
Katha wants Arav to different well between his grandfather and grandmother. They are not the same people. Arav must introduce himself to him.
Viaan’s mother grants him the permission to leave the party. As he goes out the door, he crosses path with Katha again yet they both didn’t look at her.
Viaan’s mother, Farah meets and greets Kavita. They both praise Kavita’s beauty and shining soul. Kavita is about be a grandmother for the third time, she corrects them. She is about to become a grandmother for fourth time. Kavita asks them about Viaan and Ahsan. Viaan was here, but his antisocial personality made him take a ticket out. Mr. Garewal greets the women; he asks the waiter to serve drinks. Kavita takes an excuse to meet Arav.
Arav enthusiastically hugs Kavita. He hands her the gift he made for her himself. Kavita thanks Katha, she has never waited more for a gift than the one she gave her. Reet watches Kavita and Katha as they hug each other. Katha praises Kavita.
Kavita takes Arav to meet his grandfather. He stops for a moment as he locks his eyes on Arav. Arav introduces himself as Mr. Garewal’s grandson. Arav touches his feet. Mr. Garewal questions Arav for calling him Mr. Garewal yet touch his feet, did no one told Arav that he is his grandfather. Arav knows but assumed that Mr. Garewal wouldn’t like it. Mr. Garewal questions Arav for thinking so. Arav replies, because Mr. Garewal never came to see him. Kavita came to meet him, but he never felt like having a grandfather. He asks if Mr. Garewal wants to feel like a grandfather. Mr. Garewal nods. Arav hugs him. Mr. Garewal tightly hugs Arav’s back. He kisses and loathes him with love.
Reet meets Katha. Katha asks Reet about her baby and her health. Katha brought a gift for Reet’s daughter. They were book her daughters can read. Reet tells how her daughters use tabs to read book yet appreciated Katha’s gesture. She asks Katha to come to her whenever in need. Katha is a guest here; she must feel free.
A woman takes Kavita to stage to give a speech. She encourages Kavita for a speech. Kavita doesn’t talk a lot but feels like talking today. She thanks her son and daughter in law for throwing her this birthday party but a bigger thanks for someone special. While everyone assumes it to be Mr. Garewal, Kavita calls Arav and Katha on stage. Arav starts to introduce himself as the youngest man of the Garewal family. Kavita introduces Katha as the eldest daughter in law of her house, Aditya’s wife. Farah and Viaan’s mother think that Arav is very cute. Kavita recalls how her eldest son left her years ago, she never felt like having a birthday in his presence. Farah asks her to cheer up, this is not the time to reinvoke past traumas. Kavita assures that she is truly happy today, joyous the most she has been in her life because of Arav. The boy who bravely fought cancer and make in her life. The boy who is not even half her height fought every pain to meet his grandmother. Mr. Garewal wipes his tears. Kavita sees her son in Arav, she wants to thank the person who returned her Aditya’s offspring. Kavita takes the mick, says that the person is a monkey. His grandparents favorite and a daredevil. He fought the cancer in himself to be with everyone. While Kavita wants to tell everyone the pain Arav faced Kavita speaks about positive. She tells everyone about Arav’s nickname, the Monkey Man. Katha is very proud of Arav, he will always be the man of her life. Kavita calls Mr. Garewal on stage. Katha calls Reet and her husband on stage. They all take a selfie together.
Viaan’s mother praise Katha and her bravery. Farah is astounded after hearing Katha; they feel like their struggles were nothing in front of hers. Viaan’s mother suggests to make Katha the face of her NGO, she sees a spark in her personality.
Kavita takes Katha to meet other guests. Teeju and Farah introduces herself to Katha, they propose to make her the face of their NGO. Katha appreciates the gesture, but she cannot do much other than telling her story. Arav introduces himself. Farah wants to know how Arav has such an energetic personality. He clarifies, he was on an energy save mood for 5 years, so he saved a lot. Farah is too old, though Arav doesn’t find her old. Farah has a son who is taller than her, looking at him reminds Farah of her old age. Katha asks them about their sons.
PRECAP: Viaan does not like the resumes he is getting, no one is qualified enough. Ashan tells Viaan that he is finding a new Katha. Teeju and Farah informs Viaan and Ashan about a brave, inspiring, single mother they met today. They try to remember her name, it starts with a K.
