Kashibai Bajirao Ballal fame Farnaz Shetty and Rohit Chandel who met for the first time on the sets of the show eventually fall in love and are going strong ever since. Interestingly both the actors almost declined Kashibai Bajirao Ballal when it was offered to them.
While Rohit wanted to focus on his career in OTT, Farnaz was busy with the shoot of her projects in the South. However, they eventually gave a nod to the show where Rohit played Bajirao and Farnaz essayed Mastani.
Now the show may have wrapped up, but the lovebirds are still going strong. The couple talked about it during a recent interview with BT where Farnaz said, “Yes, we have been together for three months. Love happened gradually and we realized that we were the one for each other. We just knew that we shared a special connection.”
Farnaz also added to the conversation and said, “God had some other plans for us, and Rohit and I became a part of Kashibai Bajirao Ballal. We feel it happened because we were destined to meet each other.”
She added, “Even after we started dating, we would hardly talk to each other on set. We were extremely professional and didn’t allow any spillover from personal life to professional. When you have common values and professional ethics, you don’t need to look for anything extraordinary in a person (smiles).”
Rohit shared, “Professionalism is paramount for Farnaz and me. It was only during the last 15 days that we would eat our meals together, as we wanted to create fond memories from our first show with each other. However, once on the floor, we were just co-actors.”
He added, “Farnaz and I have the same values and ethics. Our approach to acting is also quite similar. It’s true that we weren’t keen on taking up the show initially. Call it destiny that we became a part of it. Kashibai Bajirao Ballal is all about Farnaz for me. That’s my biggest takeaway from the show apart from the creative satisfaction while playing Bajirao.”
