Scene 1
The ministers say that Baji should go away for 5 years to become a warrior. Baji says I can’t leave my family in this condition. The minister says you don’t have to live with women to become a warrior, you have to become a strong soldier before you can rule these people. Baji says I am a warrior but I am mother’s son so I can’t leave her. Shahu asks him to talk to his mother and wife before taking a decision. Baji nods.
Ganga tells Kashi that you shouldn’t stay away from Baji for 5 years, it’s not right. Radha comes there and says I know you are selfish, you want Baji to stay with you but if you want Baji to become equipped to rule these people then let him go. Kashi says I am not selfish, I also think he should leave to get the seat that he deserves. I am his wife and I will support him. Radha nods. Kashi hugs her and cries. The servant says Baji has called Kashi. She leaves from there.

Scene 2
Shahu greets Baji and says we will wait for you to return after 5 years. Radha hugs him and says I knew you will prove yourself to own this seat. Come back fast. Baji hugs his family but ignores Kashi. He starts leaving, Kashi brings aarti plate to him and smiles. Baji glares at her and throws it away. He leaves from there.
As time passes, Kashi waits for Baji and kept getting letters about him winning wars. Kashi waited for him for years but he never replied to her letters.
5 years have passed and Baji has become famous as a brave soldier.
Kashi is grown up now and it has passed 7 years while waiting for Baji. She kept praying for him to return.
Baji arrives back home after 7 years. Kashi gets ready and smiles. Ganga tells her to not be too excited for him to return. Kashi lights diya and says it’s like my hope. Ganga says Baji has taken responsibilities as a warrior now. Kashi says I knew he would become a great warrior. Kashi says he never replied to my letters, 7 years have passed so he must have moved on and not be angry with me anymore. Ganga says he was busy with wars but what if he found another girl in these 7 years? Kashi looks on.
