Scene 1
Baji tells the Mughal king that I should tell you my name before killing you, I am Bajirao. Kashi is running outside when she gets trapped by Mughal soldiers. Balaji enters the palace with his army and starts killing Mughal soldiers. Kashi sees Balaji coughing and struggling to fight. Baji is fighting the king and captures him. Kashi runs to Balaji and asks if he is fine? He says yes. Kashi cries and says you are not fine, I will bring water for you. Balaji says it has been going on for some days, my army is thinking that we are winning so they can’t know about my condition. Kashi says but you have to get checked. Balaji says promise me you won’t tell anyone about my condition till I bring victory back home. Kashi promises him.
Baji captures king Farukh and brings him to Balaji. Farukh says you cheated me. Balaji says you captured Shahu’s mother, you wanted to fight with us so we want a Mughal king who brings peace between us so we have decided that a new king for Mughals will be Rafique, Farukh is taken away from there. Balaji meets Rafique who becomes a new king. Balaji coughs and Kashi notices it. Balaji welcomes Rafique and brings Shahu’s mother there. Rafique welcomes them. Shahu’s mother says I was captured for 30 years, she thanks Balaji. He tells her that there will be a celebration with Mughals today. A pact has been made between Mughals and Marathas. Shahu Maharaj gets his power and family back. Kashi tells Baji that we should leave now. Rafique thank them. Balaji introduces Baji and Kashi to Shahu’s mother who blesses them. Balaji says we should leave now.
Scene 2
Balaji brings Shahu’s mother back to him. He hugs her and is elated. Radha welcomes her. Kashi sees Balaji keeps coughing. Shahu tells his mother that I missed you a lot. Kashi comes to Radha and tries to talk to Balaji but she says not now. Kashi rushes to Baji but he doesn’t listen to her either. Kashi is worried about Balaji’s condition when he falls down. All rush to him. Baji takes him from there.
The doctor checks Balaji and is worried. He comes to Baji and says it’s late now, he shouldn’t have gone to war, you should have called me earlier. Radha hears all that and breakdowns. Kashi comes to Balaji and says I shouldn’t have listened to you and should have told everyone. Baji asks if she knew about his condition? Kashi says I did. Radha says then why didn’t you tell us? Kashi says he made me promise to not tell anyone. Balaji wakes up and tells Baji to take care of his family and this reign. I am always with you. Balaji closes his eyes. Baji says I will call the doctor but Radha stops him as Balaji has died. All family members cry seeing him dead.
Baji does Balaji’s last rituals while all pray for him. Baji recalls Balaji’s words to become a great warrior. Baji recalls how Kashi knew about his condition and didn’t inform anyone. He screams why Kashi.. you should have told me as then baba would be alive today.
