Actor Hiten Paintal, who is known for his performance in shows like Ek Ladki Anjaani Si and Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is all set to return to the small screen after almost 14 years.
The actor will be seen in the show Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho. Talking about it in a recent interview, Hiten shared, “I had been wanting to return to TV for quite some time now, but was forced to put the plan on hold owing to the pandemic. During this time, I was in talks for a couple of TV shows but nothing materialized. Besides, my films and web series also were delayed. But I am glad that the situation has become better and I am returning to TV. My dad (senior actor Kanwarjit Paintal) is also shooting for a show with the same production house and he has some nice things to say about them.”
Hiten will be essaying the role of Yash in the show Muskurane Ki Wajah Tum Ho. Talking about his role, he said, “I liked the graph of my character and it is a part of the principal cast. I will be seen as the male lead’s brother-in-law, who is quite influential both in the house and outside as well. He decides kya hoga and how it should happen. It has grey shades. He is a politician waiting for his chance to get a ticket.”
The show, which features Kunal Jaisingh, Abhishek Malik, Tanvi Malhara, and Alisha Parveen in the lead, is expected to go on floors in two weeks. Ask him if he feels nervous about returning to a TV set after a decade-and-a-half and he replies, “Not at all. I am not nervous at all. In fact, I am very excited. A true actor never loses his bearings or his grip on his craft. I am looking forward to the shoot and I am certain that it will be fun.”
