Sequels of popular shows have become a trend ever since the web shows took over. While both the mediums, TV and Web continue to prosper, seasons following hit shows are being received with mixed reactions. Erica Fernandes, who has been a part of two popular TV shows – Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi recently talked about this trend in a recent interview with India Forums.
She shared, ”I didn’t know that after doing 2 seasons of Kuch Rang, there would be a season 3 also, it was a pleasant surprise for us and of course, even with Kasautii, after so many years, I never knew I would be playing an iconic character so it is something that I think is a good thing because when you do sequels to a certain show, you have two different ways of showing it. One when it was made back then and now it is made for today’s day and age, there are two different perspectives to one show.”
Meanwhile, Erica is currently holidaying in Dubai and she recently visited the Dubai EXPO too. While fans are eagerly waiting for her to return on the small screen, Erica wants to take her own time before she excepts her next project.
