Rishi promises to get a better man for Tanuja than himself. Tanuja thinks no one can be better for her than Rishi. Rishi asks her for a hug one last time. Both cry, as Tanuja hugs Rishi.
The next morning, Ahana was in the kitchen restlessly waiting for Rishi. Divia comes to the kitchen and reminds Ahana what Tanuja did to them, no one in the house wants Tanuja back. Ahana was silent. In the hall, Manpreet gets a call and informs everyone about Rishi’s return to the house. Ahana abruptly asks about Tanuja, everyone visibly dislikes.
Rishi and Tanuja walk side by side each other. Rano tells Rishi to prepare breakfast for Rishi, he stayed out of house all night. Ahana comes saying for Tanuja as well. Rano scolds Ahana to even take Tanuja’s name. Rishi was out all night, he must be finding

some place for Tanuja all night; he promised to marry Tanuja with someone else. She can’t come into this house. Rishi opens the door of house then, Rano cheers watching him. Rishi looks behind for Tanuja. As soon as Tanuja was about to step in, Rano shouts at her to stop. She forbids Tanuja to enter the house, and warns Ahana to stay back as well. Rishi asks Rano what she is doing. Rano reminds she had already told him. Rishi says he had agreed to abide by everything she would say, but on a condition. Rano asks if he demanded a month for Tanuja. Rishi says yes, Tanuja would stay in this house until he finds a suitable proposal for her and get her married. Rano conditions that Rishi would divorce Tanuja. Rishi confirms if she doesn’t trust him. Rano says she never trusts Tanuja. Divia seconds Rano. Rishi walks inside.
In the room, Rishi was looking for divorce papers. Ahana questions Rishi if he would divorce Tanuja. He must not pay any heed to Rano, she is only angry. Rishi tells Ahana he is not leaving Tanuja, she is leaving him. She wants him to be a good son, and remarry. He only wants safety for her, if she marries someone else she would at least be safe. He loves her dearly, and would find the best for her. He looks behind and finds the divorce file on the floor. Ahana was upset.
Rishi brings divorce papers to Rano, reminding these are the same papers they signed earlier. Rano questions why he is showing her. Rishi asks Tanuja if she has an objection if he submits these papers to court. Tanuja doesn’t respond. Rishi says these papers reads, this divorce is taking place with their mutual understanding; if she accepts. Rishi wish Tanuja says a no, he would change this whole world. Tanuja replies no, she has no objection or problem. Tears fell off her eyes. Rishi smiles saying they have deep understanding, and inquires Rano if she can read what’s going on in Tanuja’s heart right now, as she always read her face. Is she a truth, or a lie? She is not lying, right Tanuja? He says when he told her to leave the house she ran away, he had to look for her all around the city. Now, Tanuja has understood it’s better for them to marry again.
Rano says alright, Tanuja can stay here. Rishi asks Tanuja to come inside, she doesn’t move. Rishi tells her to move inside. Tanuja says she is no more his wife, she has no right over him, this house and this family; she will now stay where she used to live earlier… store room. Rano asks Divia to take her back to her room. Tanuja asks Ahana to get her luggage through John. Ahana cries.

PRECAP: In the store room, Rishi recalls meeting Tannu for the first time. Tanuja recalls he burnt his hand, Rishi wonders how Tanuja know about it.
