Radha returns with grocery and says that she could not get kheer grocery as she had to help an old woman and someone stole her gold coins. Aunts yell new bride has to finish rituals at any cost. Karn returns from courtyard and hearing them acts as having stomachache and raj vaidya asks him to have khichdi, now Uruvi has to prepare khichi for her husband. Uruvi agrees and asks Radha to teach her, but aunts take Radha away.
Surili goes to Shubhra and informs her that Uruvi is treating like a maid by her old maids and tortured like slaves, she should forget her differences and help Uruvi. Shubhra stands shocked.
Uruvi tries to seek help, but aunts warn that nobody will get into kitchen except Uruvi. Deaf aunt says she will guard kitchen. Karn thinks Uruvi does not know to prepare khichdi, he should help her. He butters deaf aunt that she prepares most tasty khichdi and asks how does she prepare it. She tells ingredients. He asks to repeat. She repeats loudly. Uruvi hears hear and realizes Karn is trying to help her. She crushes spices and hitting her hand shouts maaa.. Shubhra feels in Pukeya. Uruvi hears adding lots of ghee in khichdi and reminiscing pandit adding ghee in havan pours whole pot’s ghee in fire.
Uruvi serves khichdi to aunts. Aunts are shocked. Gauri yells it does not have any trace of ghee. Uruvi says she poured a lot of ghee. Radha says she will get ghee and sees whole pot empty. Uruvi says she poured whole ghee into fire. Aunts start yelling again. Gauri shows cow dung cake and says this is used to prepare food. Uruvi pleads to taste at least some. One of them throws khichdi on Uruvi’s face. Radha gets angry, but reminiscing Shubhra insulting her stops. Karn sees that and warns aunt. Aunt yells he has become wife’s slave and is insulting aunt for his wife. Karn says he took oath during pheras to respect and protect her dignity, if they think so, he is slave. Aunts continue drama. Uruvi stands crying and pleading.
Preap: Uruvi carries load like a maid. Shubhra misunderstanding heras maid shoos her away. Radha asks if she did not identify her daughter princess Uruvi.
