Boycott The Kapil Sharma Show has been trending on Twitter since filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri alleged that Kapil wasn’t interested in their film The Kashmir Files as it lacked popular stars.
Vivek tweeted about not being invited to The Kapil Sharma Show which went viral and Kapil has been facing some serious heat from the netizens, post Vivek’s tweet. Now, Kapil has finally broken his silence over the matter and has reacted to these claims.
When a fan asked if he got scared from promoting The Kashmir Files on his show, Kapil replied, “Yeh sach nahi hai rathore sahab. Aapne puchha isliye bata diya, baaki jinhone sach maan liya unko explanation dene ka kya faayda. Just a suggestion as an experienced social media user:- never believe in one-sided story in today’s social media world, dhanyawaad (This is not the truth Rathore Sahab. You asked me so I told you. Can’t give explanations to people who have accepted the truth).”
The Kashmir Files is set for release tomorrow.
